I have been intrigued since seeing a Teaser but this looks just phenomenal. And maybe we just might see this at TIFF ’15? A boy can dream, right? We know this much – the Film will open the 53rd New York Film Festival this September. You’ll be gasping where this new Trailer ends off!
Official Synopsis:
Twelve people have walked on the moon. Only one has ever, or will ever, walk in the immense void between the World Trade Center towers.
Philippe Petit (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), guided by his real-life mentor, Papa Rudy (Ben Kingsley), is aided by an unlikely band of international recruits, who overcome long odds, betrayals, dissension and countless close calls to conceive and execute their mad plan.
Robert Zemeckis, the master director of such marvels as Forrest Gump, Cast Away, Back to the Future, Polar Express and Flight, again uses cutting edge technology in the service of an emotional, character-driven story. With innovative photorealistic techniques and IMAX® 3D wizardry, The Walk is genuine big-screen cinema, a chance for moviegoers to viscerally experience the feeling of reaching the clouds.

Back in 2004 I remember being so totally obsessed with Robert Rodriguez‘s Adaptation of Frank Miller‘s SIN CITY. I had the Poster on my wall and I may have called-in a Sickie at work to watch it. Although it took nine frickin’ years to happen, its long-awaited Sequel is well on its way and just released is the Trailer for SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR!
Synopsis:
The Town’s most hard-boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more reviled inhabitants.
Cast (including many returning Members) includes: Josh Brolin, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Haysbert, Jamie Chung, Bruce Willis, Eva Green, Julia Garner, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Jeremy Piven and Stacey Keach. Did I mention Lady Gaga makes an appearance? Those of us scratching heads at her Muppets Holiday Special Collabo with Gordon-Levitt, might understand a little bit better now.

Happy Thanksgiving America (and us over-indulgent Canadians)! Taking place tonight is a landmark Television Moment as international Pop Megastar Lady Gaga joins The Muppets on Television for a 90-minute Special, Lady Gaga & The Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular!
Also appearing on the Broadcast are the likes of Kristen Bell, Elton John, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and RuPaul! Eclectic. You can guarantee there will be drama between Miss Piggy and Gaga for Kermit‘s affections! Surely some of that tension might spill-over to next year’s The Muppets’ Most Wanted, in which Gaga appears briefly?
See a Sneak Preview here:
ABC airs Lady Gaga & The Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular tonight from 9:30 – 11:00 PM EST.
Although she’s busy in Japan celebrating her latest Disc ARTPOP, we’re still giddy about meeting her last week in Toronto! More on that here.

“I was just reading e-mails…”
Joseph Gordon-Levitt tries his hand (pardon the pun) at Acting/Writing and Directing in Don Jon, a Porn Addict from New Jersey who tries finding happiness with a Girl who potentially could be “the one”. Although it wasn’t formally announced at last week’s list of Films to premiere at TIFF ’13, this Comedy was later confirmed by Canadian Distributor Mongrel Media to screen at this year’s Festival.
Don Jon features a superb Cast including Julianne Moore, Scarlett Johansson, Tony Danza and I think we even see a Cameo from Anne Hathaway in there! It is said Gordon-Levitt wrote the part of his Girlfriend specifically for Johansson.

The Stars came-out in droves to support the American Film Institute Fest Premiere of LINCOLN last night in Los Angeles at the Grauman Chinese Theatre. Seldom-seen Star Daniel Day-Lewis came-out looking as dapper as ever and Sally Field looked incredible in a sheer lace Number in red! Both posed alongside Director Steven Spielberg for an unforgettable Photo Op! Joseph Gordon-Levitt also came-out as did Gulliver McGrath – both play the Sons of Abraham and Mary Lincoln in the Film.
Disney‘s biggest shot at the Oscars is out in theatres today in Toronto and if you’re thinking of heading-out to see it, here’s my Review. Some superb performances throughout!
