Super-hot! This brand new Track from both will.i.am and Britney Spears has just surfaced, just as I was thinking to myself how we’ve been long-overdue for new Music from her! Although it was leaked early, matters are under-control and its Video will be premiering this Thursday, November 22, 2012 on The X-Factor, while being sent to U.S. Mainstream Radio tomorrow.
I love the faux British Accent, I love the mood of the Track and am also certain this will be an Explosive Hit! One complaint though: not enough Britney! The Track will be featured on will.i.am‘s upcoming Disc, willpower, in-stores December 7, 2012.

Nothing broken about Breaking Dawn Part 2! The Finale in The Twilight Saga debuts this weekend with an outstanding $141 million from 4.070 North American theatres, closing-out what has been a phenomenal Run at the Box Office since it first surfaced back in 2008. Although performing exceedingly-well, it falls just-shy of its Franchise Record, set back in November 2009 with New Moon‘s opening weekend of $142 million.
Placing second this weekend is last week’s resounding Champ Skyfall, with $42 million from 3,505 theatres, tallying two weeks at a superb $160.3 million domestically. This latest James Bond Franchise Film, is on its way to surpassing the $600 million mark internationally for Sony Pictures.
Disney‘s Lincoln, which despite pulling-in an excellent $21 million it its expansion this weekend to 1,775 theatres, manages only to place third, while Wreck-it-Ralph, also from the same Studio, finishes fourth with $18 million – earning a total $121.8 million now in three weeks.
Pitch Perfect amazingly still hangs onto the eighth spot with $1.3 million, while Bollywood Flick Jab Tak Hai Jaan opens in ninth with $1.2 million in only 120 theatres. Sony Pictures’ Here Comes the Boom rounds out the Top Ten with $1.1 million.
Here for only a five-day engagement in Toronto at the Ed Mirvish Theatre, Jekyll and Hyde comes to the City after a successful four-year Broadway Run, before continuing on its North American Tour in Washington, D.C. The Musical stars American Idol Finalist Constantine Maroulis who since has made a splash on the Great White Way in Rock of Ages and here he plays the Role of Dr. Henry Jekyll and his Alter-ego Edward Hyde. Toronto’s v. own R&B Star Deborah Cox (now a Resident of Miami) also is featured front and center as Lucy. Jekyll and Hyde is an odd story of a Scientist who uses himself as an Experiment in his quest to find a cure to some of Mankind’s greatest medical problems. This however, unleashes his inner-demons, creating far greater a Dilemma than he could have anticipated.
Following their Performance tonight, Maroulis was spotted bundled in a cozy Burberry Sweater, spending time with his Fans and going directly first to one Woman who waited by the Stage Door in her Wheelchair. Humble, he assumed Fans were waiting for his Co-Star Cox, telling everyone that she would be out in a moment, not thinking for a moment that the commotion might have been for him. He tells me and another Fan that he wishes that he could have more time in the City and maybe even a chance to do a Preview Show or two before launching it in each City, but as is the case with a Tour, the tempo is quick. He is pleased with the great feedback he has been receiving for his dual-role Performance, especially as the darker Hyde.
Cox exited soon after, donning much more simple straightened locks than the voluminous wigs she is required to wear in her Role. She spent a fair amount of time shaking hands and posing for Photos and was more than happy to sign one of my favourite R&B Discs, One Wish. The GRAMMY-nominated Singer/Actress states to me that she is hoping v. much to begin work on a full-length Disc, but for now Fans will have to do with a Powerhouse Dance Single she just released last week, (From the Ghetto) Remember Me.
There’s still time to catch Jekyll and Hyde. Click here for Tickets.

OMG. Finally! It’s been far too long since we’ve seen Tina Fey on the Big Screen. This Trailer for Admission starring the Funnywoman and the brilliant Paul Rudd has just surfaced. Fey plays Portia, an Admissions Officer at Princeton who gets involved with a less-than-ideal potential Student. Involved of course, not in the romantic sense of the word.
Nat Wolff, Michael Sheen (who worked with Fey briefly on 30 Rock), Lily Tomlin and Toronto’s v. own Dan Levy star also! Alliance Films releases Admission on March 8, 2013.

Fantastic day for Tennis Fans as retired former World #1 Tennis Player Andy Roddick made his way north to Toronto from Dallas for an Exhibition Match this weekend at Air Canada Centre. Here to support her Husband of course is stunning Model/Actress Brookyln Decker who even with v. little Make-up still looked stunning upon arrival this afternoon.
Both Husband and Wife were super-nice to stop for a quick Snap, especially after a really early day. It was charming hearing Roddick call Decker by her Nickname, “Brook” as he called her over to take a Photo. Later in the evening, she joined Celebrity Blogger Jared Eng (Just Jared) and her Battleship Co-Star Rihanna at her 777 Tour Secret Show, held at Danforth Music Hall. See their Backstage Snap here.
Roddick is set for a Match-up against Canada’s Finest, Milos Raonic in the Sport Chek Face-off, set to take place tomorrow night, while Greats Serena Williams and Agnieszka Radwanska are to be pitted against one another on the Undercard. What makes this Event amazing also is that Fans will have a chance to interact with these Champs with two Autograph Signings being held tomorrow. A first is set to take place with Williams, Roddick and Raonic at 12:45 PM, Toronto Eaton Centre Sport Chek, with a second to be held 6:15 PM with all four Players at Air Canada Centre.

Showcasing a variety of in-market Ontario ingredients, David Chang‘s Momofuku Noodle Bar just launched in Toronto this past September and has been a Darling among Foodies even long before it opened its large Wooden door at the Shangri La Hotel. Situated at the corner of Adelaide x University, the open-concept Eatery is a Sister to a Restaurant in New York City, of the same name.
Over the past while, the likes of Kenzo Ramen, Sansotei Ramen and also super-popular Kinton Ramen (blogged here last week) have proven to be a Hit with taste-savvy Torontonians. With the Winter months forthcoming, expect demand for these warm and comforting Bowls of Ramen (Japanese Noodle Soup) to explode as word-of-mouth spreads feverishly in the City for what just might be the best bowl of Noodles you can get here in Toronto.
Momofuku however, isn’t only just Noodles. Opting to be different, I tried their Korean-inspired Kimchi Stew, a hearty and huge bowl of spiciness. featuring a heaping portion of the Korean Pickled Cabbage, chunks of Radish and pieces of Pork Shoulder. Chewy Rice Cakes add a fun and substantial dimension to it all. I also am extremely fond of their unique take on the traditional Chinese Steamed Buns we get often at Dim Sum. The Pork Belly option is a tender, melty kiss to the mouth.
My Friend Edwin, who happened to be sitting beside me at the Counter, seemed to enjoy the Signature, Momofuku Ramen, including Pork Shoulder & Belly, Fish Cake and a poached Egg, telling me that this just might be the best in the City. And he’d know as he’s tried each of the City’s big four Ramen Shops.
Clearly, the trendy Establishment knows its Market as handsome, 20-something Businessmen could be seen sipping on their bottles of Pabst Blue Ribbon with their Meals. I myself enjoyed my Sake-based Seven Spice Sour, available in a 4 oz.-size.
Momofuku Noodle Bar is trendy, affordable and fast – maybe a little too fast even with my Server hovering over me to pay my bill the moment I put down my Chopsticks.

“There’s a map inside your head, Clary. You are the key to our Survival.”.
There is absolutely no way this isn’t going to be a Smash! Just having wrapped in Toronto last week, a Teaser Trailer for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones has just surfaced! The Action Sequences look superb and although I have yet to read the original Cassandra Clare Novels, Harald Zwart looks perfectly to have captured a Mood, transporting us into a dangerous, dark, mysterious World along with Lily Collins’ Clary Fray who like us seems to have a lot of questions.
As one of the few People in the City who met most of the Cast while they were in-town, I couldn’t be more thrilled and supportive! This is going to be an Adventure!

Most of us who grew-up in the ’80s and ’90s have fond memories of watching Michael Keaton on-screen, but having been quiet much of late, could it be that his Career is experiencing a rapid resurgence? Known best for his work as Batman, Beetlejuice and Mr. Mom, Keaton currently is in Toronto working Sony Pictures’ RoboCop Reboot, which is slated for a February 2014 release via Sony Pictures.
Keaton, unlike his Co-Stars who travel is SUVs and Production Vans, opts to travel in a super-sleek Lexus. I caught-up with him earlier today as he head-off for a long night ahead at-work. Despite being in a rush, he was kind to stop for Autographs and although he didn’t think he had time for a Photo, I reminded him that it’s just as quick to say “no” as it is to snap a Photo and of course, putting it into perspective, he was nice enough to make an exception.
The Actor next can be seen in Ottawa-filmed Penthouse North, due for a release in 2013 and soon he will be completing Voice Work for Animated Blockbuster, Toy Story 4 in the role of Ken.

Amazing day of Celeb-spotting! Earlier today I spotted none other than brilliant English Actor Gary Oldman out and about on a stroll. The Thespian who is known for his superb work on timeless Films such as The Contender, True Romance, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Professional and both The Dark Knight and Harry Potter Franchises, looked smart in an amazing navy blue Scarf (adorned with dogs and moons!) and Peacoat. I spotted him admiring the Architecture of a Hotel, snapping a Photo of it on his Cell Phone. Just this past weekend, he was spotted at Varsity Cinemas watching Lincoln (read my Review here).
Although caught a bit off-guard to be recognized, he was more than kind to snap a Photo before heading off with a Mate on his Stroll, while some of his RoboCop Co-Stars prepped for an evening Shoot tonight. Oldman is expected to be in-town till February when the Film wraps here in the City. He will be playing the role of Dr. Robert Norton in the Sony Pictures Reboot, set to hit theatres February 2014.
Oldman‘s connection to Canada will deepen as he’s slated to begin work on Canadian Production Monster Butler shortly in Scotland and England, alongside his Good Friend and equally legendary Malcolm McDowell. McDowell in a Chat with me earlier this year, told me about the Film and his Buddy, Oldman! Read more here.
Also, don’t forget to click here to enter to win a super-rare Signed Photo from Oldman by clicking “like” on this Post at Mr. Will Wong on Facebook before December 14, 2012! Good luck.

Growing-up, the sassy Mama’s Family was a Television Staple for me and without the extraordinary wit and comedic talents of Vicki Lawrence, the Series never would have been. Lawrence, whose talents exceed Comedy but also in Music and Writing, is currently in Toronto for her Vicki Lawrence and Mama: A Two Woman Show, taking place tomorrow night at Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts.
A still v. youthful-looking Lawrence was out-and-about promoting the Show today in Toronto, including an appearance on CBC’s George Stroumboulopoulous Tonight, which will be airing this Friday night. Incredibly-gracious as one would expect, she generously spent time signing Photos and taking Photos with her most loyal Fans leaving the Venue, in this rare visit to the City.
