Longevity and Leslie Jordan certainly have become synonymous with one another. You know him from Will & Grace, Star Trek: Voyager, Ugly Betty and more recently American Horror Story: Coven and now the brilliant EMMY Award-winning Actor graces our City with his presence this weekend with not one, but two Shows at enWave Theatre (Harbourfront Centre).
Titled Fruit Fly: Do Gay Men Become Their Mothers?, Jordan will be raising money for the Casey House with proceeds from the Shows. He will be reflecting on his storied Career and relationship with his beloved Southern Belle of a Mother, Miss Peggy Ann, in his 90-minute Show.
The diminutive Actor did a Guest Host spot on Global Television‘s The Morning Show (National Edition) earlier and you can watch his appearance here.
On his way to the Studio, he was awesome to stop for some Snaps and Autographs with Fans. “Oh, I’ve made a new Friend!”, he says to Billy, giving him a smooch, which gladly he reciprocated back as you can see!
See our Snap:

“Why is America so Robophobic?”.
We admit it – we had our doubts when we first heard about a RoboCop Remake being made, considering how perfect the 1987 original was. When we heard names like Abbie Cornish, Samuel L. Jackson, Jackie Earle Haley, Gary Oldman and Michael Keaton being attached, we knew they meant business.
Director José Padilha reboots the popular Franchise which centers around Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman), a badly-wounded Cop who is transformed into Cyborg form to fight crime in a futuristic Detroit.
A lot is on the line for Sony Pictures, which spent a pretty penny on the Toronto-filmed Action Flick which just completed Reshoots last week, especially after a lackluster performance at the Box Office with the expensive Total Recall Reboot last year.
Cornish was spotted in Yorkville last week with her newly-adopted French-born Puppy, shopping for Goodies at My Pet Boutique, while she was in-town for four days, leaving this past Monday morning along with her fellow Castmates.
A brand new Trailer for RoboCop has just surfaced and I was floored completely by its incredible slickness!

Things just got super-emotional up in here! CHER was Guest Judge on ABC‘s Dancing with the Stars last night and in addition to a Performance of I Hope You Find It, originally recorded by Miley Cyrus, she was just WOW! with her deliberations. So entertaining and at times delightfully incohesive, including some praise for Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Saved by the Bell‘s Elizabeth Berkley which included the longest bleep-out ever. I am giddy as hell as a massive Fan of the campy Thriller Showgirls and of course Living Legend herself, CHER!
Although I couldn’t find it online anywhere there was one deliberation during the Show where CHER was in a complete daze when it came time to her announcing her score, and she in a confused stated blurted out “CHER!” when she meant to say “9!”.
See CHER and Berkley here:
This of course is a bit of a Full-Circle moment as not too long ago CHER was cheering on her now-Son Chaz Bono, who was a Contestant on the 13th Season of Series and he was seen in the Audience cheering for his Mother after her Performance.
If you haven’t had a chance to check-out CHER‘s amazing new Disc Closer to the Truth, then you must! Review here.

So pretty much most of us were caught off guard by Britney Spears‘ decision to release a Ballad as her Second Single from upcoming Disc, BRITNEY JEAN, following the lukewarm reception to first Single, WORK BITCH.
For the first time in quite a while, we hear Spears actually quite vulnerable and insecure, often portraying a Femme Fatale-esque image in her Music. Here she sings about feeling insecure with the presence of a certain Third Person. She sings, “I put on my Perfume/I want it all over you/I’m gonna mark my territory.”. Having just launched her 13th Fragrance, the Track would appear to be more than perfectly-timed.
