This is exactly what Toronto needs – something decadent! DINEEN COFFEE CO. has arrived indeed and its first ever Location at Adelaide x Yonge in Financial District, looks ever-promising. I am just going to put the obvious out there first. The Men who frequent this Place are outlandishly handsome – that is, if well-groomed Men in Suits are your thing. So Ladies and Sisters of a Brotherly Variety, you get a little bit of an added incentive there.
In fact, a post about DINEEN COFFEE CO. on my Facebook Timeline drew a texted reaction to my Phone from a Friend: “OMG. I love Dineen. I go there to write all the time. The Men are so hot!”. There you go.
The Boutique Coffee Shop recalls another era with an unmistakable Parisian flare to it. Gorgeous burgundy seats are cozy and the Patio is ambiance illustrated. The Staff are friendly and more than willing to offer their opinion what Pastries to pair with your Caffeine.
Bold, robust flavours are aimed for the palates of their Suit-clad Clientele and Menu Offerings like Baguettes, Quiche, Muffins and Cookies look a cut above the Competition, without prices being above them.

Finally. Nestlé® Tollhouse Café by Chip finally has made its Toronto Debut in the Metro Hall Underground PATH, right beside Roy Thomson Hall!
The Confectionery Retailer is a new option for Locals, giving the likes of Mrs. Fields a real run for their money, boasting of their signature Cake Cookies (Giant Cookies with Icing Inscriptions), Cookie Lollies, Bar Cookies, Ice Cream and Brownies, Cupcakes, Macaroons, Cookie Cups and more. I learned that Cake Cookies must be ordered two hours in advance if you are looking for personalizations.
Also, NESCAFÉ Coffee will be served with exotic seasonal Lattes to keep things exciting. We already know how well they’re doing with the Coffee Line and Machines, which currently is sold at The Bay and Williams & Sonoma. An actual Nespresso Shop is said to even be coming in the future to replace what used to be Cumberland Four in Yorkville.
I am thrilled to have visited the Shop today and can confirm the taste sensation, already having a Fave in their Chocolate-Peanut Butter Offering!
The Aroma of melty Chocolate and baking Cookie Dough already are making a splash from those who work in the area or pass the Shop on their way to St. Andrew Station. I look to frequent this place much during TIFF this September. Toll-tally excited. LOL

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards were held in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand tonight and winning top honours tonight was Taylor Swift with a total eight awards including Top Artist and Billboard Hot 200 Album with her Disc, Red. Poking fun at herself, Swift accepted her Award, stating, “you’re the longest and best relationship I’ve ever had!”.
Not to be outshone, Rihanna and Gotye both picked-up four awards each – the former doing extremely well in the R&B Categories winning Top Album, Song and Artist, while also nabbing Top Radio Songs Artist. Gotye was victorious in the categories: Hot 100 Song, Rock Song, Radio Song and Streaming Song (Audio) based on the strength of his Smash with Kimbra, Somebody That I Used To Know.
Two Pop Legends were honoured also in Prince and Madonna. The former not only performing tonight a Medley which included Let’s Go Crazy, received the Icon Award for his lasting career which has seen ten Diamond Albums and 30 Top 40 Hits. The latter, whom we spotted in New York City last week at the Met Gala, won Top Touring Artist for her MDNA Tour.
Canada’s Carly Rae Jepsen even was recognized with the Award for Top Digital Song with Call Me Maybe.
Although the evening was highlighted by some dazzling performances from the likes of Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Pitbull, it was Miguel who stirred-up the most controversy apparently kicking two female Fans when crowdsurfing into the audience during his performance of Adorn.

Although predictions pegged it a bit higher, Paramount Pictures’ Star Trek Into Darkness, the Sequel in the Franchise directed by J.J. Abrams, debuts in number one this weekend with $70.6 million from 3,868 theatres across North America. Made for $190 million, the Sci-Fi/Action Flick opened on Wednesday night, but falls just short of the $75 million its predecessor made in 2009. Audiences of course loved the Sequel, giving it a coveted A CinemaScore and also Critics agreed with a stellar 88% rating at Rotten Tomatoes. It was the only Film released this weekend to debut in the Top Ten and does so on-top!
Two-week Champion Iron Man 3 slips to second this weekend, but by no means is disgraced, earning $35.2 million in its third week for Disney. The Blockbuster has just exceeded the $1 billion-mark globally.
The Great Gatsby despite never reaching the top of the Box Office, like Iron Man 3, performs v. well in third with $23.4 million in its second week of release for Warner Bros., earning $90 million in just two weeks. Box Office Experts are saying that this being one of the few Female-catered Films out currently, may have hindered Star Trek Into Darkness‘ numbers from being record-breaking for the Franchise.
The gap is huge between the Top Three Films and the rest of the Films in the Top Ten. Paramount Pictures for the second week in-a-row gets the fourth spot with Pain and Gain, earning $3.1 million in its fourth week, just surpassing the $50-million mark domestically, keeping Veteran The Croods at bay with $2.8 million in fifth.
Brace yourselves at the sixth Film in the Fast & Furious Franchise hits theatres next weekend, already debuting big overseas with $13.8 million already in the U.K.!
Kristin Scott Thomas, you naughty Girl you! The Weinstein Co. unveiled Clips from a few of their upcoming Marquee releases at Cannes on Friday and shocking just about everybody is Nicolas Winding Refn‘s Follow-up to 2010’s excellent Drive.
The Thriller, Only God Forgives, competes in-competition at the Festival this year and shot entirely in Bangkok, the Film centers around Julian (Ryan Gosling), a Drug Smuggler whose life is complicated further by her Mother’s (Thomas) mission to find who killed his older Brother, Billy (Tom Burke).
“You know what he does for a living right? Heroine, Cocaine… that’s where the money comes. That’s how he can afford to pay you to f*** him”, she says to the Girl her Son brings home to her, Mai (Rhatha Phongam), in quite possibly her most shocking role to date. Believe me, it takes a lot to shock me and this is pretty darn shocking and might I add, completely NSFW. I can just imagine the room of international Journalists gasping at the Subtitles!

Who hasn’t fantasized about Time Travel? About Time is a Sci-Fi/Rom-Com about Tim (Domnhall Gleeson) who discovers he has the ability to travel through time, changing things which happen in his own life. He decides to make the World a better place by finding himself a Girlfriend in the insecure and lovely Mary (Rachel McAdams), only for a travel mishap to take place, meaning he’d never met her. He must then find a way to meet her allover again and this time marry her.
About Time is from the same people who brought us Notting Hill, Love Actually and Four Weddings and a Funeral. I love it already. And finally Gleeson gets a chance to shine after years of smaller supporting roles.

With the Cannes Film Festival kicking into high gear this weekend, the Director and Principal Cast of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire held a Photo Call earlier today at Majestic Hotel. Was it ever an extravagant affair! Stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Sam Claflin (just in Toronto this week) attended along with Director Francis Lawrence. No sign of Josh Hutcherson however, as he’s in Panama filming the Thriller, Paradise Lost alongside Benicio del Toro.
See the amazing Display they set-up for the Film below:

It also has been announced that Covergirl will be partnering with the Film to release a limited edition Makeup Collection inspired by the Film!

There are few Celebrities I am as cosmically in-sync with as Lily Collins. I keep crossing paths with her, honestly not even intentionally! Remember last Summer when we first spotted her out and about with Jamie Campbell Bower (read here)?
Collins just wrapped a week of work on Rom-Com, Love, Rosie, in Toronto along with another burgeoning star in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire‘s Sam Claflin (read more here) with sightings ranging from Etobicoke to Downtown’s Roy Thomson Hall to Financial District.
Remembering me right away, she tells me “Nice seeing you again!”, sporting a slight hint of red in her locks. “Your hair! Looks great!!”, I tell her. “Aww, thanks!”, she says grabbing a few strands of it. Collins was getting ready to fly out and tells me “I think we’ll be back again for the Premiere later this Summer.”.
With a second The Mortal Instruments installment already green-lit for Production without the first even being released, Studio Executives over at Sony Pictures really are that confident in Collins‘ ability to clary – sorry, I mean carry – a Franchise on her own.

Everyone loves Rajesh! Kunal Nayyar is a bona fide Household name thanks to his starring role on CBS Hit Series The Big Bang Theory and Toronto has the honour of hosting him as he continues filming on upcoming Comedy, Dr. Cabbie’s Meter’s Running. Starring alongside Adrianne Palicki (G.I. Joe) and Vinay Virmani (Breakaway), the Actor has been in Toronto this past month filming and wraps in just a couple days!
I spotted the Actor heading off to work earlier with his Crew, looking cool and casual.
