Fans of The Hobbit Franchise might be sad that the end of the road is near for the epic Trilogy, but Toronto Fans certainly would not be let-down! Director Peter Jackson, Screenwriter Philippa Boyens and Actor Lee Pace (who plays Thranduil), made a surprise visit to the City today to promote the final Film in the Series, The Battle of the Five Armies. This Installment sees Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), the Wizard Gandalf (Sir Ian McKellan) and the 13 Dwarves try to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the Dragon Smaug (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch).
Among their hectic Press Tour stops today included several interviews, including a visit to eTalk Studios for a Live Audience taping of eTALK & THE HOBBIT: ONE LAST TIME, which airs Monday, December 22, 2014 at 7:30 PM EST on CTV. The Trio then head over to Scotiabank Theatre to watch their Film with Fans, before partying at the Windsor Arms Hotel. Some lucky Fans in festive “middle-earth” Cosplay at Eaton Centre this afternoon also were awarded a chance not only to win Tickets to the Premiere, but also the Afterparty!
Be sure to check-out the limited-time-only The Hobbit Lego Display at Eaton Centre before Wednesday, December 10, 2014!
We lined the chilly Red Carpet tonight where Jackson, Boyens and Pace arrived shortly after 9:30 PM, stopping to chat with several Media Outlets. Some Fans even were lucky enough to score a rare Autograph from Academy Award-winning Jackson, although he made clear a no Selfie Policy though his Handler. Pace however was amazingly-giving, taking his time to accommodate Fans, some who had been waiting for at least ten hours for a chance to see him.

Remstar Films and Mr. Will want to give Readers a chance to win on DVD a copy of the Film which had Audiences at TIFF ’14 in a standing ovation, while also receiving an Award at the Cannes Film Festival too!
Official Synopsis for PRIDE:
Based on a true story, the film depicts a group of lesbian and gay activists who raised money to help families affected by the British miners’ strike in 1984, at the outset of what would become the Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners campaign. The National Union of Mineworkers was reluctant to accept the group’s support due to the union’s public relations’ worries about being openly associated with a gay group, so the activists instead decided to take their donations directly to Onllwyn, a small mining village in Wales — resulting in an alliance between the two communities. The alliance was unlike any seen before but was successful.
PRIDE stars Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, Dominic West, Paddy Considine, Andrew Scott, George MacKay, Joseph Gilgun and Ben Schnetzer.

22-year-old Pop Sensation Nick Jonas certainly is turning heads of late, fully growing into a refined and sexy version of himself. The Actor/Singer-Songwriter and Philanthropist is about to embark on a Tour in support of his self-titled Disc and made his second Stop-off in Toronto in just under two months. On Jonas’ schedule is a day filled with Charity for Duracell‘s Power Smiles Campaign and Television interviews to promote his latest effort and forthcoming single, Teacher. First was a live visit to CITY‘s Breakfast Television where hoards of Fans queued outside in the cold for a chance to see Jonas up-close and he certainly delivered the smiles! He later head over to SickKids Hospital to brighten the day for Children in need.
Jonas’ new Disc has him veering from the brand of Pop-Rock the Jonas Brothers best are known for and exploring the soulful side of his favourite influences, namely Prince, Frank Ocean and The Bee Gees. Jonas himself has carved a signature vocal style, heavy on the falsetto and easy on the eyes and ears. Current release Jealous is making a splash on airwaves showing some staying power on both the U.S. and Canadian Billboard Hot 100 Charts.
We caught up with Jonas who admittedly was tired fresh off a fantastic performance on the West Coast on NBC‘s The Voice. And after braving today’s Toronto cold, he heads back yet again to California to begin his Tour. Despite being advised to move along, Jonas as always is great to his Fans!
It was just announced yesterday that Jonas also will be back in town for ET Canada’s New Year’s Eve Bash in Niagara Falls where he will perform alongside Keith Urban, Shawn Mendes, Lights and more!

Originally left by her parents as a baby with the promise that they’d be back for her someday, it’s been a hard knock life ever since with her mean foster mom Miss Hannigan (Cameron Diaz). But everything’s about to change when the hard-nosed tycoon and New York mayoral candidate Will Stacks (Jamie Foxx) – advised by his brilliant VP, Grace (Rose Byrne) and his shrewd and scheming campaign advisor, Guy (Bobby Cannavale) – makes a thinly-veiled campaign move and takes her in. Stacks believes he’s her guardian angel, but Annie’s self-assured nature and bright, sun-will-come-out-tomorrow outlook on life just might mean it’s the other way around.
