Disney, Pixar and Starlight Children’s Foundation are making “Toy Story 5” available to nearly 400 hospitals via the Disney Movie Moments program, which gives patients the opportunity to enjoy movies while they’re still in theatres. In Oakland, Orlando, and Washington, D.C., Disney is taking the experience even further by transforming hospital play areas into Bonnie’s room, along with hosting screenings of the film, character meet and greets, themed activities, and more. More “Toy Story 5” screenings and charitable initiatives will take place for kids and families in the coming weeks.
The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 5,” and this time it’s Toy meets Tech. Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voice of Tim Allen), Jessie (voice of Joan Cusack) and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad (voice of Greta Lee), a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Following the history-making success of her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” 14-time GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Taylor Swift has announced a brand-new original song, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” for Disney and Pixar’s highly anticipated June 19, 2026 theatrical release “Toy Story 5.”
The new song—written and produced by Taylor Swift and Jack Antonoff—releases wherever music is streamed and purchased on Friday, June 5. The single will be featured on the “Toy Story 5” soundtrack when it releases on June 19.
Pre-sales begin today on Taylor Swift’s website for three exclusive CD editions that feature the new single as it appears in the film, a special acoustic version, and a special piano version, all with unique vocals and production.
Inspired by the rootin’ tootin’ cowgirl Jessie’s ongoing journey in “Toy Story 5” that began back in “Toy Story 2,” “I Knew It, I Knew You” also marks a return to Taylor Swift’s country roots, blending styles that have defined her record-breaking career as a songwriter and artist.
“Toy Story 5” director and screenwriter Andrew Stanton said, “It’s incredible just how meaningful it’s been having Taylor write and perform this song. Her connection to Jessie and the immediate way she understood what the character was going through was undeniable. The song is so deeply connected to ‘Toy Story.’ So much so that on first listen, it instantly felt like it had always belonged there, like a long-lost family member. It was kismet.”
The announcement follows a series of “TS” billboards—a play on “Toy Story” and Taylor Swift’s shared initials—that appeared over the weekend in LA, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Toronto, Mexico City and London. Today’s announcement was preceded by a “Toy Story 5” themed countdown on Taylor Swift’s official website, as well as on billboards in New York and Los Angeles.

Tickets to see Disney and Pixar’s highly anticipated animated adventure “Toy Story 5” in theatres go on sale today wherever tickets are sold. A final trailer – featuring Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the gang as they reunite on a mission to confront Lilypad, a new smart tablet with her own ideas about the best way to help their kid Bonnie make new friends – is now available.
Joining the voice cast is genre-defying, multi-platinum global recording artist and 6x GRAMMY® Award winner Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio – known professionally as Bad Bunny – who has a voice cameo in the upcoming film as the new character Pizza with Sunglasses. Effortlessly cool and mysterious, Pizza with Sunglasses is a member of a small but mighty community of forgotten toys that live in an abandoned backyard shed.
Emmy® and Tony® Award-winning actor Alan Cumming (“The Traitors,” “The Good Wife,” “Cabaret”) has also joined the voice ensemble in a cameo as Evil Bullseye – Bullseye’s playtime alter ego in the new film. While Woody’s trusty steed still lacks the power of speech in the world of “Toy Story,” Cumming provides Bullseye’s voice during a funny playtime sequence in the film.

Last night at Meridian Hall, was the first of two performances by the FILMharmonique Orchestra, Canada’s premier orchestra dedicated to film concerts, in partnership with Disney Concerts, to bring audiences a live performance for the 30th anniversary of Toy Story.
Toy Story is a timeless classic – and there is no denying that – the Soundtrack and Score to the Movie are two of the most iconic and memorable core memories of my childhood. Being able to see the Movie, that personally shaped me and taught me the love of Film I have today, together with live orchestration, truly was a fantastic once-in-a-lifetime experience.
While last night was a mix of fans of Toy Story – new and old – families, and first-time viewers, the audience was completely captivated by the experience entirely. While we were seated half-way through the Orchestra, there was never a moment the room felt anything but connected to the experience – truly making the argument that Toy Story is suitable for everyone! The FILMharmonique Orchestra performed the Score to perfection, transporting audiences to a moment of magic.
While the Movie itself is incredibly short, running at 81 minutes, the live performances total 105 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission. While it can be argued that there isn’t a natural stopping point in *most* movies, and Toy Story specifically, the intermission starts when Andy and his Mom return home from Pizza Planet – which acyually is the perfect time for an intermission. Toy Story Live celebrating the Film’s 30th anniversary plays again today, November 22nd 2pm at Meridian Hall. Do not miss this incredible chance to see the film that launched the giant that is Pixar, Toy Story.
Attendees also get an amazing Photo Op to commemorate the experience:
