Toronto’s waterfront has a pair of unexpected coast guards on patrol this weekend. Suspended high above Lake Ontario, Supergirl and her wildly playful puppy companion, Krypto, can be seen flying along the skyline towing a stranded ferry to safety using their superpower strength.
The gravity-defying spectacle is part of a world-exclusive installation from Warner Bros. Pictures Canada celebrating the highly anticipated upoming release of Supergirl, starring Milly Alcock and Jason Momoa. Towering 50 feet above the water, the stunt brings movie magic into the real world, reimagining Toronto’s Harbourfront as the stage for a larger- than-life DC rescue mission.
Fans can witness Supergirl and Krypto mid-flight as the installation sails along the Harbour and Lakeshore. The vessel will also be docked at 207 Queens Quay West during the below times.
