There’s just no stopping TOY STORY 5 as it takes top spot at the Box Office a second straight week with $70 million from 4,425 theatres for Disney and Pixar.
SUPERGIRL debuts in second with $40 million from 3,602 theatres for Warner Bros. This gets 57% on the Tomatometer. By comparison, last year’s SUPERMAN debuted with $125 million for the studio. Review here.
In third is JACKASS: BEST AND LAST, the final in the franchise, getting $10 million from 2,855 theatres for Paramount Pictures. It earns an 87% on the Tomatometer.
Fourth goes to OBSESSION with $8.5 million, a seven week tally of $232.6 million for Focus Features/Universal Pictures.
DISCLOSURE DAY rounds things out with $7 million, a total $93.2 million grossed over three weekends for Universal Pictures.
