Based on Daniel O’Malley‘s Novel of the same name, a new Starz Mini-Series is soon to surface. THE ROOK centers on a woman who wakes up to find out she is an agent with supernatural abilities. Starring Emma Greenwell (Shameless), Paula Patton (Precious) Joely Richardson (Red Sparrow), Olivia Munn (Predator) and more, it is directed by Kari Skogland.

Greenwell and Richardson were in Toronto recently to promote the Series, with Stopoffs at Global‘s The Morning Show and CTV‘s The Marilyn Denis Show. Both who were just in Denver for Seriesfest, were so lovely to stop for a Snap.

You might remember Dacre Montgomery from Blockbuster hit POWER RANGERS, but since then he’s gained a lot of popularity also on Netflix‘s Stranger Things in a recurring role as lifeguard Billy Hargrove.  The Australian star is in Toronto today promoting Season Three of the hit Series along with The Princess Bride star Cary Elwes and together they are doing the rounds on Television in the City.

We snapped the star arriving at Breakfast Television for a taping and he was amazing to Fans, stopping for everyone.  We chat with his Co-Star David Harbour earlier this year and he told us that this Season of Stranger Things is about the “summer of love”.  Can’t wait!  It streams July 4th!

Synopsis:

Well, this will get your heart racing! The Trailer for Netflix‘s POINT BLANK has just surfaced. The Feature Film stars Anthony Mackie and Frank Grillo. We’re in love already.

Synopsis:
When his pregnant wife is kidnapped and held as collateral, Paul, an ER nurse, must team with the badly injured career criminal and murder suspect under his charge in order to save the lives of his wife and unborn child. Pitted against rival gangs and a deadly ring of corrupt cops, the unlikely duo find a way to survive together in the fight of their lives. Growing-up in the late ’80s-early ’90s it was impossible to avoid the cultural impact of New Kids on the Block. To this day they’ve managed to maintain their loyal following, also paving the way for other massively-successful Boy Bands like NSYNC and Backstreet Boys. We remember waiting by the radio for our favourite Top 40 hits to come on and compiling our own mixtapes on your tape recorder, but imagine the joy of hearing those songs played live?  This is the concept of NKOTB‘s Mixtape Tour, bringing top Pop Acts from their era of glory on-stage with them for one hit-packed show.  Before Christina and Britney, there was Debbie Gibson and Tiffany and while often pit against one another, the two pop forces joined forces at this show, along with Hip-Hop royalty Salt-N-Pepa and Naughty by Nature!

In light of our Raptors NBA Championship glory which was pronounced and celebrated throughout the night at Scotiabank Arena, Toronto’s Snow who performed his signature hit Informer, which was made popular again by Daddy Yankee‘s Con Calma. The Raptors’ North Side Crew Dancers even came out on stage at one point to kick-it-up a notch.

NKOTB brought the house down with their catalogue of hits including Please Don’t Go Girl, Step by Step and Hangin’ Tough, but paying tribute and respect to their Tourmates who also got a chance to shine. But make no mistake, it was clear who the crowd was there to see mostly and NKOTB rewarded several lucky spectators, diving right into the crowd to the delight of their fans.

What a time to be from Toronto! We’re like many of you who in recent months have fallen in love with the Toronto Raptors and what the Team have accomplished not only for the City, but also our Country is monumental. We can’t thank the Raptors enough for all their hard work and tenacity. While it was a bit of a test of patience waiting for the Raptors at the NBA Championship Celebration Parade today – thanks to those rebellious Torontonians who refuse to wait behind the positioned barricades, instead crowding the roads, we cannot deny it was worth it.

To see our City come together – people young and old and of all backgrounds – as one spirit cheering for the Team we love, was something we’ve been needing all along. The Parade started at the Canadian National Exhibition, along the Lakeshore and northbound at York Street, en route to its final destination, at Nathan Phillips Square where our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was on hand for the fun!

We love our Peanut Butter Cups and are thrilled that there actually is a Movie about one of Canada’s favourite snacks! A Movie! The ASMR Film touches upon the chill-inducing effect of downing a REESE Peanut Butter cup!

Firstly, what is ASMR?
