After a series of upsetting leaks, One Direction finally release their Charity Single for Comic Relief, a Charity Organization for Famine Relief in Ethiopia.

The Track, a Cover of the Blondie 1979 Classic, breathes some freshness into it with a bit of a Punk edge, containing elements of The Undertones’ Teenage Kicks.  The Boys’ famous Arena-filling Choruses define this as being unmistakably 1D!

BBC premiered One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks) last night and it will see a release Sunday, February, 17, 2013 on iTunes UK.

I really cannot contain my excitement for this!  Sony Pictures has just released some brand new Stills from The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, in what is almost certain to be the next worth successor in the Young Adult Fiction Adaptation genre to The Twilight Saga. If these faces – with the exception of Kevin Zegers and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, still are only vaguely familar to you now, have my word that this Fall they will be everything: Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Godfrey Gao, Robert Sheehan and Jemima West.  Toronto had the honour of hosting the filming of this Blockbuster and we can only hope that future installments will be coming back to our City!

Although we’ve been begging for more since seeing its Trailer surface three months ago, here it is again:

The Premiere for Oz The Great and Powerful was held last night at El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles and its Stars Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams, Zach Braff, Rachel Weisz and James Franco were a vision of elegance. Franco, who plays the role of Oz in this Prequel to The Wizard of Oz,  was seen rising into the sky in a Balloon! Friends of the Cast and Director Sam Raimi also came out and showed their support, walking the Yellow Brick Road, including Tobey Maguire and Donald Faison.

For the Fashion-savvy, Williams wore Prada, Weisz was in Victoria Beckham, Kunis donned Dolce & Gabbana, while Franco had on Gucci.

Sublime. Justin Timberlake‘s brand new Video for Suit & Tie ft. Jay-Z was just released earlier today and the David Fincher-directed Clip looks stunning.  Shot all in black and white, the Video exudes the same timeless elegance the Track possesses. And if there was any doubt JT truly was back, it is performing amazingly well, peaking at number three on the Canadian Hot 100 and at number four on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Without a doubt, we will see it ascension to number one in no time.

It’s been a long while since we’ve heard from Seductress Siren Lana Del Rey and her latest Track Burning Desire just saw its Video release today.  Although it’s not officially a Track on her recently release Paradise EP, it is featured as an iTunes Bonus Track.  The moody Piece is something we’d come to expect from Del Rey and although simple, the images vividly become imprinted in my mind after just a couple viewings.  Del Rey walking a Jaguar, a Jaguar Convertible in high gear and the Songstress singing in an empty theatre, suggestively caressing her Microphone.  The Song itself and Video presumably also are being used to promote a new F-Type series Car by that Auto Manufacturer.

Directed and voiced by John Kars, this romantic Tale is set in New York City during the ’40s and follows a chance meeting of a Man and Woman brought together by a flying piece of paper.

Everyone’s doing the Harlem Shake, an Internet Meme which has taken the World by storm February 2013. What is the Harlem Shake you ask?  Hot on the heels of Gangnam Style, it is the latest dance craze seen in viral Video Clips which are set to 30 seconds of the Track of the same name by Brooklyn-based Electronic Music Artist, Bauuer.  The Videos start off with one person dancing, while all others around are oblivious to it. As soon as the Bass Line starts, we are put into sensory overload with others joining-in doing repeated (sometimes lewd) dance motions.  Amazing.

YouTube Users DizastaMusic and The Sunny Skate (a Longboarding Crew from Australia) were among the first to start the craze, causing People to strip down to their undies shamelessly before the Camera!

See some of my favourite Harlem Shake Videos to surface so far, although I must say, hands-down the Maker Studios one is my favourite – rather sleek, wouldn’t you say?

Documentary King Morgan Spurlock and the World’s hottest Boy Band One Direction team together for 3-D Doc, 1D3D. In just over 24 hours, the Teaser Trailer has amassed almost 3.1 million views.  Spurlock follows the Boys as they tour the World and we get multiple perspectives on their success: their Mums, their Fans and theirs.  So touching seeing candid moments like Zayn calling his Mum on the phone, fighting back his tears how much he misses her. This actually looks one-delightful!
