Lyla
60 Sudbury St.
IG. @lylatoronto
As Lyla ushers in the fall season, the restaurant leans into Ontario’s local harvest with a menu that captures the warmth and refinement of fall dining: a few highlights include the Duck Duo, Rigatoni al Brasato di Manzo, and their signature fall cocktail, Soul Tie.
Duck Duo ($59 + tax)
This refined dish features a 7-day dry-aged, 8 oz seared Ontario duck breast, paired with three duck confit croquettes. It’s served with a silky carrot purée, za’atar pomegranate glaze, and finished with a spiced duck jus. Rich, bold, and beautifully balanced, perfect for fall dining.
Rigatoni al Brasato di Manzo ($35 + tax)
A comforting yet elevated pasta made with slow-braised Ontario beef short rib, finished with a deeply savoury short rib jus and topped with a light ricotta espuma. It’s the kind of warm, hearty dish that guests crave as the weather cools down.
Soul Tie ($25 + tax) (Clarified Cocktail)
This is Lyla’s fall cocktail feature, a bold and aromatic clarified drink made with Bearface Whisky, Amaro Nonnino, absinthe, pomegranate and lime juice, and a house-made ginger & Thai chili syrup. It’s clarified through a 24-hour milk wash, resulting in a smooth, complex cocktail that’s both visually stunning and rich in flavour.

Lunch Lady
93 Ossington Ave.
IG. @thelunchladytoronto
This fall, Lunch Lady leans into the season with two dishes that balance comfort, nostalgia, and refinement. Drawing from Vietnamese culinary traditions and elevated with thoughtful technique, these plates invite diners to experience familiar flavours in a new light.
Phở Bò Wagyu – Wagyu Beef Noodle Soup ($36 + tax)
This dish transforms the classic noodle soup into a rich, layered experience. Rare wagyu zabuton, beef cheek, ox tail, and bone marrow come together in a deeply flavourful 24-hour beef broth, finished with rice noodles and a slow-poached egg. The result is a bowl that feels both luxurious and deeply soulful.
Nui Xào Bò – Rigatoni Short Rib ($32 + tax)
Lunch Lady’s Nui Xào Bò reimagines a recipe rooted in childhood memories for many Vietnamese families. Once a humble stir-fry made with macaroni, leftovers, and pantry sauces, this version dials up the depth with rigatoni tossed in the familiar sweet-salty flavours of the dish, paired with the richness of braised short rib in the style of beef bourguignon. It’s a beloved staple that manages to be nostalgic and modern all at once, perfect for cooler days ahead.

On Friday August 1st, 2025, Cameron Taylor, the esteemed butcher at the iconic steakhouse Harbour 60, will host an exclusive kick-off event for his passion project, The Catering Collective. This event, aptly titled “The Art of the Butcher and the Chef” will be hosted at Rily Kitchen from 6-10pm and marks a significant step in Cameron’s career as he leads the way for a new generation of butchery. The Catering Collective takes a fresh approach to private and corporate events where ingredients and the art of butchery take centre stage.
Beginning his butchery journey in 2018 in South Africa and after earning four certificates from butcher school, he honed his skills for a year before bringing his expertise to Canada in 2021. Here, he quickly made a name for himself working at some of the top butcheries, and eventually becoming head butcher at Harbour 60.
Executive Chef at Harbour 60 and mentor Solomon Mason reflected on Cameron’s impact saying, “Cam represents a new generation of butchers who are redefining what it means to work with meat at the highest level. His commitment to intentional, quality-driven butchery, factoring in everything from breed and genetics to diet and age, is helping us build a deeper philosophy around our sourcing and preparation. At Harbour 60, it’s not just about the cut; it’s about the story behind it, and Cam ensures that story is one of integrity, precision, and passion from start to finish.”
The Art of the Butcher and Chef embodies Cam’s innovative and passionate mindset celebrating the art of butchery while educating attendees on the importance of understanding the origins of their food. Cameron notes that many don’t know what dishes like braised short ribs look like before they reach their plate. By showcasing the processes involved, he highlights that butchery is an art form that deserves as much respect as any other culinary art. The event aims to show guests that it is about respecting the meat and the animal, as much as it is the final product.
To mark the start of his butchery-centric catering company, his event is taking place at Rily Kitchen (26 Sousa Mendes St) on Friday, August 1st from 6-10pm. Guests will start with welcome cocktails, charcuterie, and Canadian oysters. The event will then feature an exclusive live butchery demonstration of beef rib and loin, showcasing the skill and precision involved. Following the demonstration, guests will enjoy a gourmet five-course sit-down meal featuring the freshly prepared cuts and paired with a selection of wines and beers. Additionally, guests will have an opportunity to purchase the meat from the demonstration. Tickets to attend are priced at $150 per guest and can be purchased HERE.

On Monday, June 16, 2025 Arianna—the modern Italian restaurant on the fourth floor of Harbour Sixty—will host a one-night-only collaboration with Tiny Market Co, the beloved west-end pasta shop known for its handmade noodles and fiercely loyal following.
Starting at 5:00 p.m., the kitchen will offer a special collaborative menu featuring six exclusive new dishes from the Arianna team and six from the Tiny Market team, alongside a selection of Arianna’s signature à la carte offerings. Guests dining at Arianna that evening will have the option to order from this collaborative menu.

This is Arianna’s first collaborative event, and Tiny Market Co was a natural partner. About Mokable
Mokable (pronounced “Moke-Ah-Bull”) is a standalone category that tackles two pressing issues head-on: the inefficient use of coffee beans and the sustainability challenges within the coffee industry. While traditional coffee preparation discards up to 70% of its aroma and flavour, Mokable aims to change that narrative by transforming whole coffee beans into a much more palatable micro-ground form that captures every rich note and aromatic nuance. By blending premium specialty coffee beans with cocoa butter, Mokable achieves a smooth, versatile texture that shines in both sweet and savoury dishes and cocktails.
