Jane Lynch has been a Star long before the Glee Phenomenon which took the World by storm in 2009. Known best for her work as Sue Sylvester on that Fox Musical-Comedy Series which garnered her both Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy Awards, Lynch has built a lofty Resume of work which dates back to the late ’80s. It was her role in Christopher Guest‘s Show Dog Mockumentary, Best in Show, as Ex-Pornstar Christy Cummings which would put her on the map. Memorable and fearless roles in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and A Mighty Wind (also by Guest) soon would follow and it would only be a matter of time before she became a household name.
The Funnywoman is in Toronto today promoting Febreze and their Noseblind Campaign. That is, are you so accustomed to odours in your home that you don’t even notice them anymore? If there is anyone who knows the benefits of the Freshening Spray, it would be her – a Pet Advocate and loving Owner of two Dogs, Olivia and Francis. Lynch stopped off at Starbucks on Jarvis x Bloor prior to a couple Radio appearances earlier today and then head out to do a variety of Television appearances including City‘s Breakfast Television and CP24 Breakfast.
She currently can be seen on popular NBC Game Show, Hollywood Game Night and is confirmed to appear on Series Girl Meets World. Earlier this Summer she debuted a limited-run Cabaret Show at 54 Below in Manhattan. The forthcoming sixth season of Glee has been confirmed to be the final of the popular acclaimed Series – expect to see some familiar faces return.
Lynch was so amazingly nice to stop for a quick Photo earlier today with Billy and I! She’s just so gorgeous in-person!

It’s definitely a bit of a Grower, but we’re definitely liking Glee Star Lea Michele‘s debut Single CANNONBALL. The Single, co-written by Sia and Benny Blanco and produced by StarGate, gets the Video Treatment after wrapping just before the Holidays.
Rather simple, the focus is all on Michele here and her commanding Vocals. We follow her as she finds the light, getting candid and personal with the camera.

Not unlike Miley Cyrus‘ Megahit Wrecking Ball, Glee Star Lea Michele certainly knows the power of a ball simile and after a long wait, her debut Single as a Solo Artist finally is before us. Penned by Australian Singer/Songwriter, Cannonball is an uplifting Pop Moment.
More than ever, Michele‘s tone is reminiscent of a younger Celine Dion and the Track certainly should find a place on Top 40/Hot AC Radio as it fits. The Track touches upon her breakdown and subsequent rise again. “I got this new beginning and I will fly, will fly, will fly like Cannonball”, she sings. We’re all rooting for her!

He was only 31. Calgary-born Singer/Actor Cory Monteith passed away earlier this evening at his Hotel in Vancouver and although the circumstances surrounding his death still are to be confirmed upon test results, many are stating it may be drug-related. The Actor in March this year admitted himself to a Treatment Facility for Substance Abuse. At the age of 19, Monteith had undergone treatment for the same reason. He had been dating Glee Co-Star Lea Michele at the time of his death.
I had the pleasure of meeting Monteith back in November 2010 when he was in town to host the Gemini Awards. I can say without hesitation he was the kindest of his Cast Mates and made me proud to be a Canadian. Never in a million years would I have guessed his time would come this soon. I am heartbroken. Read about my experience with him here.
My sincerest condolences to Monteith‘s Friends and Family.

Headlining his first ever Tour, Glee Star Darren Criss hits Toronto’s Phoenix Concert Hall Tonight. The Listen Up Tour features a combination of songs performed on that Series, plus original Music – old and new – as he preps the release of his long-awaited full-length Solo Disc.
The friendly and personable Criss, whom we’ve had the pleasure of meeting on a few occasions in the past (the last time exactly a year ago), made two appearances early this morning including a visit to KISS 92.5 where a large crowd of Fans awaited, followed by a visit to Global Television‘s The Morning Show (National Edition), on the same Canadian Network which airs his hit Series.
Spotting me right away, he asks me “Nice seeing you again! Are you still getting those amazing Photos?”. I don’t believe he remembers! Aww! Some even traveled from as far as New York to see their Idol and he was super-thoughtful taking his time to chat with each and every Fan.
See Criss greet his ardent Fans below:
