In town starring in upcoming Nick Wernham RomCom, No Stranger than Love, Colin Hanks is turning heads around the City with that familiar face of his. The Son of Tom, who himself has built a pretty impressive Résumé thus far including Orange County, The House Bunny, W. and King Kong. Hanks arrived in Toronto the other night and like his Co-Star Alison Brie (Community), whom we met back in February, he has been out enjoying the City. Although on the Series at different times, both Actors have appeared on AMC‘s hit Drama Mad Men.
Official Synopsis below:
NO STRANGER THAN LOVE follows Lucy Sherrington (Brie), a heart-breakingly attractive High Sschool art teacher in the small, secluded village of Spot Valley, where there is not a male in town who is not secretly or openly in love with her. And who can blame them? She is kind to everyone, and helplessly sympathetic, yet romantically she keeps them all at a polite distance…until tonight. Tonight she has agreed to a rendezvous with Clint Coburn (Hanks), the married High School Football Coach who’s been on a lustful quest in Lucy’s direction for the last five years. Just as they are about to begin their affair, Clint disappears down a hole that opens up in Lucy’s living room floor. But this is not just any hole. It is an inter-dimensional, one-way hole of infinite darkness that leaves Clint stranded and floating in oblivion.
Our Sources tell us Hanks was seen at Hey Lucy Cafe this weekend on King Street, an area where Kit Harington and Rachel McAdams also were seen Friday night! After heading-out with some Friends tonight for Dinner on the recommendation of a Staffer at his Hotel, the Actor was out for a bit of a break, stopping to pose for Photos graciously.
Hanks next can be seen in Parkland this Fall, a Drama set around Dallas’ Parkland Hospital on the day JFK was assassinated. Zac Efron, James Badge Dale, Jacki Weaver, Billy Bob Thornton, Paul Giamatti, Jackie Earle Haley and more star, while Tom Hanks produces.

Here to ring-in the fourth Season of NBC‘s Community, Stars Danny Pudi and Alison Brie flew into Toronto amidst one of the biggest storms of the year, determined to spread the word about the amazing Cult Hit Series about a quirky group of Students at a fictional Colorado Community College. Just having premiered on February 7, 2013, the new Season – its first without longtime Showrunner Dan Harmon – already is garnering rave reviews.
Pudi who plays the Pop Culture-obsessed Abed and Brie, known best for her work on AMC‘s Mad Men as Trudy Campbell and the overachieving Annie on Community, have a full day of Press lined up today, kicked-off by a visit to KISS 92.5‘s Studios, appearing on The Roz & Mocha Show (audio available later). The Duo also appeared on multiple feeds of CITY‘s Breakfast Television around the Country.
Pudi and Brie were awesome to stop for a quick Snap with Billy and me, their kind Publicist offering to help-out! We did an almost-replica of our Shot with fellow Cast Members Gillian Jacobs and Yvette Nicole Brown, who visited Toronto just last September to promote the Series’ third Season.
CITY airs Community on Thursday nights at 8:00 PM EST.

Gorgeous Mad Men star Christina Hendricks couldn’t possibly be even more stunning in-person and I had the pleasure of meeting her quickly following her exit of the VISA Screening Room Premiere of Ginger & Rosa tonight. The Actress actually has been in-town since Wednesday night and even appeared at a Live Table Reading of American Beauty at Ryerson Theatre last night, the Brainchild of Director Jason Reitman.
As it was approaching midnight, Hendricks gave specific instructions that she had no time for Photos with Fans but was able to make an exception for me! Thrilled.
