Today we get a new Trailer for COLD CASE: WHO KILLED JONBÉNET RAMSEY. This releases on Netflix November 25, 2024.
ABOUT COLD CASE: WHO KILLED JONBENÉT RAMSEY
On December 26, 1996, John and Patsy Ramsey woke up the morning after a loving family Christmas to discover their youngest child, six-year-old JonBenét, was missing, a chilling ransom note left downstairs. Later that day, John Ramsey discovered his daughter’s body in the basement, revealing the shocking truth that JonBenét had not been kidnapped, but was instead sexually assaulted and brutally murdered in their own home. The Boulder, Colorado police, who had little practical experience in homicide investigations, quickly cast suspicion on JonBenét’s family as the most likely suspects, fanning the flames of media scrutiny and largely one-sided reporting, turning the case into a national obsession. Twenty-eight years later, that obsession — and finger-pointing — hasn’t gone away, and the murder of JonBenét Ramsey remains unsolved. From Emmy-winning and Academy Award nominated director Joe Berlinger, this three-part docuseries investigates the mishandling of the case by law enforcement and the media.

Prepare to sink your teeth into a dining experience like no other as ANIML Steakhouse, INK Entertainment’s latest culinary masterpiece, prepares to unveil its doors on Friday, November 15th. This luxurious haven is poised to redefine the art of dining, blending sophistication with a primal allure.
We had the pleasure of previewing the space, some nibbles and drinks from the sophisticated menu of offerings.
ANIML marks an exciting new venture and partnership between Charles Khabouth, Danny Soberano of INK Entertainment, Sacha Elwakeel and Maher Murshed. Together, they introduce a refined concept that celebrates indulgence and elegance.
“Animl represents a new era in the steakhouse experience,” said Charles Khabouth, Founder and CEO of INK Entertainment. “We created a discreet and cozy space, moving away from traditional, massive steakhouses. Animl is about redefining the concept, offering an elevated journey from the interior design to the overall experience.
ANIML Steakhouse offers modern interpretations of classic steakhouse favourites. From dry-aged steaks and fresh seafood to indulgent sides, every dish is crafted to satisfy your cravings and feed your wildest instincts.
The culinary team is led by Executive Chef Marc Cheng, who brings a wealth of experience from his time at the award-winning restaurant George and other notable venues such as Patria and Clio. Growing up in the 70s and 80s, he infuses his upbringing into a modern interpretation of what a classical steakhouse can be in 2024.
Chef de Cuisine Michael Degrazia joins the team with over two decades of experience, honing his skills in some of the finest kitchens across British Columbia before returning to Toronto. Previously at Alo Bar, his artistic background informs his innovative approach to flavours and textures, enhancing the guest experience that ANIML aims to deliver
Drawing inspiration from the rich cultural tapestry of the past, ANIML’s design creates an inviting and dynamic space that encourages exploration and indulgence. Designed by the award-winning Toronto-based design studio NIVEK REMAS, the restaurant’s captivating interiors transport patrons back to the lavish excess of the 1970s. “ANIML invites you to unapologetically come as you are. The exotic interior exudes enigma and glamour, paying homage to the untamed spirit of the Art Deco era, the party days of Studio 54, and the extravagant lifestyle of the 1970s,” said Kevin Chan and Samer Shaath, partners and co-founders of NIVEK REMAS.
High lacquer wood panelling, gold leaf ceilings, antique mirrors, and graphic marbles envelop the space, while lush velvets, animal prints, and fringe create a tactile experience of mystery and opulence. Each meticulously curated element invites guests to savour a dining experience reminiscent of Studio 54. At the center of it all is a stunning upside-down mirror-encased bull that dazzles above patrons.
Location: 420A Wellington Street W, Toronto

How cool is it that this is filming in our City? Toronto’s Daniel Roher already has established himself as an Oscar-winning Filmmaker with his Documentary NAVALNY. He tries his hand at fiction with TUNER, a Crime Thriller filming around town which centers on a piano tuner who realizes his skills also can be applied towards cracking safes!
You know how much I adore HBO‘s THE WHITE LOTUS and we still haven’t forgotten English Actor Leo Woodall‘s amazing turn as Jack in season two of the acclaimed series. After stealing hearts on Netflix‘s ONE DAY, he steps-up to a leading role here in TUNER, having not long ago wrapped on NUREMBERG alongside Michael Shannon, Rami Malek and Russell Crowe. But most excitingly, he stars opposite Renee Zellweger in next year’s BRIDGET JONES: MAD ABOUT THE BOY. This is huge!
And did we mention that Woodall’s Co-Stars in TUNER include two-time Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman and rising star Havana Rose Liu (Bottoms, No Exit)?
Woodall has been spotted around town on weekends as his partner Meghann Fahy, who also starred in The White Lotus’ second season, has been in and out of the City visiting. They were spotted around Ossington together, turning heads!
So thrilled to finally meet Woodall as he was filming in St. James Town, so kind to stop for a selfie after a long day on-set. Liu also was on-set that day, and I’m ecstastic to have met her too. Have loved everything I’ve seen her in so far. Cannot wait for TUNER, which gets a Canadian release through Elevation Pictures.

“An Original Fairy Tale Take on a Modern Story”
“For me, the story [of Spellbound] is even more universal than the specifics of this family dynamic. For me, it speaks to kids and their parents, to the kind of alienation that can happen as we grow up, and the steps we have to make towards each other to weather it together and come through the other side with better understanding.”
“I hope that audiences will see how incredible the art of animation is when it comes to teaching tough lessons to the next generation. Spellbound handles delicate subjects with a lot of beautiful imagery, music, and an allegorical approach to real life issues that kids sometimes face.”
Synopsis:
Spellbound follows the adventures of Ellian, the tenacious young daughter of the rulers of Lumbria who must go on a daring quest to save her family and kingdom after a mysterious spell transforms her parents into monsters. Spellbound is directed by Vicky Jenson (Shrek) with original score from EGOT-winning composer Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast) and lyrics by Glenn Slater (Tangled).
