Synopsis:

Her husband James (Cory Monteith), the Store Manager, does his best to help Kate overcome her post traumatic stress disorder, but she shrinks from his touch.

Missing intimacy, James becomes close with Nicole (Emily Hampshire), a young Cashier who’s a Single Mother. When a new Security Guard (Kevin Zegers) is hired, Kate slowly warms to him, recognizing a fellow wounded spirit. His presence shakes up the whole Store, for all the wrong reasons.

Toronto is in for a huge treat as the Stars of eagerly-awaited Summer Blockbuster Transformers: Age of Extinction have arrived for a day of Press in the City! Lined-up Breakout Stars Nicola Peltz (Bates Motel) and Jack Reynor (Delivery Man) are appearances on some of our biggest programs like eTalk, Entertainment Tonight Canada and City‘s Breakfast Television!

The Duo had the honours of throwing first pitch at tonight’s Toronto Blue Jays vs. Minnesota Twins game at Rogers Centre. Reynor showed his spirit, modelling for me his custom-made Transformers 4 Blue Jays Jersey! Love it.

Both Actors came with their respective Entourages and were great sports stopping to snap a Photo with me! Peltz, widely regarded as one of Hollywood’s new faces to look out for, even was nice enough to remove her jacket, showing her amazing top off after what looked like an awesome dinner! “Thanks for being amazing!”, the stunning Actress – who appears in the current issue of Interview Magazine (read more here) –  told me as she leaned in for what turned out to be five Snaps!

If you’ve been in downtown Toronto this past week, chances are at some point you’ve noticed a massive overhaul of our Financial District, in what now eerily resembles New York City. Heads have turned and confusion was had as Broad Street signs and Wall Street Subway Entrances surfaced before the eyes of unsuspecting Torontonians bound for another day at work. The reason for all the commotion of course is Director Chris Columbus’ (Home Alone) latest endeavour, Pixels which sees Experts enlisted to help save New York City from an attack of  ’80s Video Game Characters!

The Action/Fantasy/Comedy stars an eclectic and talented Cast including Adam Sandler, who currently can be seen on-screen in Rom-Com, Blended. Game of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage also stars, sporting an awesome Mullet, as does Kevin James (The King of Queens) and Josh Gad (Frozen). Sandler, Dinklage and Gad were spotted filming a chaotic scene tonight involving several ambulances and police cars. Sandler was kind to take a moment to say “hi” to Fans at Starbucks, occasionally stopping to play with his adorable two Daughters Sadie and Sunny.

We spotted Sandler earlier after a quick game of Basketball with his Buddies, before heading out for a long night of shooting. We’ve met him once before and had a happy memory of that moment and are glad that things haven’t changed. Sandler truly is the Real Deal and the same lovable guy we see on-screen. During his stay so far, he’s been spotted bringing his Girls out to see the National Ballet of Canada’s Production of Cinderella and this weekend he was seen dining at Sassafraz. A source also reports a rare sight of Sandler and Dinklage goofing around outside of Whole Foods!

Pixels, which will see a release through Sony Pictures, films in Toronto till early September. The Movie tentatively is set for a May 2015 release.

The Fault in our Stars certainly is to blamed for Moviegoers going teary-eyed this weekend. The Adaptation of the popular Novel by John Green opens to astoundingly positive response, earning a whopping $48.2 million from 3,171 theatres in its debut for 20th Century Fox.  This shows that Audiences don’t necessarily need huge Blockbusters to go to the Movies in the Summer – just strong stories. Just two weeks back the Studio performed phenomenally with X-Men: Days of Future Past.  Starring Box Office Princess Shailene Woodley and Newcomer Ansel Elgort, the Film earned an A CinemaScore and an on-par 82% from Critics on the Tomatometer.

Disney‘s Maleficent in its second week out performs strongly with $33.5 million from 3,948 theatres. It already is nearing the $130 mark domestically.

Edge of Tomorrow opens solid in third with a respectable $30 million from 3,490 theatres for Warner Bros. The Action-Fantasy starring Tom Cruise saw the Megastar travel multiple continents on a whirlwind Press tour in support of the Film which has received strong reviews from Critics (89% on the Tomatometer) and Audiences (B+ CinemaScore).

X-Men: Days of Future Past slips to fourth spot with $14.7 million in its third week out, edging closer to the $200 million mark in North America.

Godzilla finds itself in sixth spot in its fourth week out for Warner Bros., earning $5.9 million this weekend. It has grossed $185 million in its run.

Chef expands to 1,298 theatres for VVS Films/Open Road Films, just getting a Canadian release this weekend. It made $2.5 million this weekend, surpassing $31 million in North America.

Million Dollar Arm rounds-out the Top Ten with $1.5 million for Disney in its fifth week out.

Actor/Writer/Producer Dean Cain returned to Toronto today to promote his appearance this weekend at the Niagara Falls Comic Con. Known best for his work on popular mid-90s TV Series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman in which he starred opposite Teri Hatcher.

One-part French-Canadian Cain has maintained his profile steadily with a litany of TV credits to his name including Las Vegas, hosting Ripley’s Believe it or Not!, Hit the Floor and succesful The Dog Who Saved… Series of Movies.

Dapper and suited, a super-friendly Cain appeared on The Morning Show (National Edition) on which he served as Co-Host today. He took a quick moment to say “hi” to Fans after his appearance and we managed to get this long-wanted Snap:

Based on the TONY Award-winning Musical, Clint Eastwood‘s JERSEY BOYS is primed and ready for release. The Musical about four boys from New Jersey who would go on to be known as wildly popular Group The Four Seasons, continues to win hearts around the Globe. The Story is narrated from each of their perspectives and includes their eventual breakup.

Three of the Film’s Stars John Lloyd Young, Erich Bergen and Michael Lomenda, are in Toronto promoting the Film and have been doing it in style, dapper in suits and riding around in a luxury Mercedes Coach!

In addition to visits to CITY‘s Breakfast Television earlier today, the Actors head over to The Morning Show (National Edition) to promote the Movie. Also slated on their schedule are an appearance on The Marilyn Denis Show. They will be at TIFF Bell Lightbox also for a special Screening of the Film tonight!

The Boys were awesome to greet Fans on one of their morning stops and may have had a chance to enjoy some cool selections from Starbucks at the Hudson’s Bay Centre!
