Normally the biggest and flashiest of the Canadian network Upfronts, Bell Media brought out the big names introducing their upcoming 2017/2018 programming lineup on their family of television stations. Despite fewer names than prior years, the talent was not lacking in star power.
Taking over Sony Centre for the Performing Arts again this year, fans and media lined the Front Street Red carpet for a glimpse of that star power as the media giant revealed some of their exciting new selections to come this forthcoming television season!
Among their new programs unveiled include THE GIFTED, MARVEL’S INHUMANS, TEN DAYS IN THE VALLEY, THE GOSPEL OF KEVIN, THE GOOD DOCTOR, THE MAYOR, YOUNG SHELDON, ME, MYSELF & I, ROSEANNE (a revival!), FOR THE PEOPLE, THE CROSSING, DECEPTION, plus an untitled GREY’S ANATOMY spinoff!
The Upfronts wouldn’t be without that dazzle and in-town for the Bell Media Upfront were the likes of: Lea Michele (The Mayor), JoAnna Garcia (The Gospel of Kevin), Bobby Moynihan (Me, Myself and I), Vanessa Williams (Daytime Divas), Stephen Moyer (The Gifted), Jack Cutmorr-Scott (Deception), Cameron Cuffe (Krypton), Zoe Perry (Young Sheldon) and several more!

We’ve been to New York City many times but never for #TVWeek and are we ever glad we did! We love AMERICAN HORROR STORY and you know how hard we fell for GLEE at the start. SCREAM QUEENS promises Creator Ryan Murphy‘s signature wit with the gore and horror of AHS. Gear it a bit more to a younger slant and what we have is what looks like an absolute Hit!
Synopsis:
The new anthology series revolves around a college campus which is rocked by a series of murders and is set in a sorority house.
Featuring Jaime Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Oliver Hudson, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Skyler Samuels, Billie Lourd, Diego Boneta, Lucien Laviscount, Glen Powell and guest stars Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas.
We love that original Scream Queen herself, Jaime Lee Curtis is back!

It’s definitely a bit of a Grower, but we’re definitely liking Glee Star Lea Michele‘s debut Single CANNONBALL. The Single, co-written by Sia and Benny Blanco and produced by StarGate, gets the Video Treatment after wrapping just before the Holidays.
Rather simple, the focus is all on Michele here and her commanding Vocals. We follow her as she finds the light, getting candid and personal with the camera.

Sony Music releases Michele‘s Debut Disc LOUDER on Tuesday, March 3, 2014.

Not unlike Miley Cyrus‘ Megahit Wrecking Ball, Glee Star Lea Michele certainly knows the power of a ball simile and after a long wait, her debut Single as a Solo Artist finally is before us. Penned by Australian Singer/Songwriter, Cannonball is an uplifting Pop Moment.
More than ever, Michele‘s tone is reminiscent of a younger Celine Dion and the Track certainly should find a place on Top 40/Hot AC Radio as it fits. The Track touches upon her breakdown and subsequent rise again. “I got this new beginning and I will fly, will fly, will fly like Cannonball”, she sings. We’re all rooting for her!

Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Selena Gomez, Pretty Little Liars, Glee and Pitch Perfect were among the big Winners at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards, held at Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles tonight. The Evening saw screams and also tears as Glee‘s Lea Michele highlighted the evening with a tearful Acceptance Speech honouring her late Boyfriend and Co-Star, Cory Monteith.
ABC Family‘s Pretty Little Liars won top honours tonight sweeping seven major categories such as Choice TV Show – Drama and Choice Summer TV Show, in addition to various acting categories with Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Janel Parrish, Ian Harding and Keegan Allen getting recognized for their work.
Upon accepting her Award for Choice TV Actress – Comedy for Glee, Michele touched the hearts of those in attendance and those watching on Television. She dedicate her entire Speech to Monteith, stating: “We were very lucky to witness his incredible talent, his handsome smile and his beautiful, beautiful heart. So whether you knew him personally or just as Finn Hudson, Cory reached-out and became a part of our hearts and that’s where he’ll stay forever”.
Watch the emotional Speech below via Hollywood Life:
Despite several speculating whether or not Cyrus is still in fact together with Fiance Liam Hemsworth, she laid the rumours to rest, accepting awards for not only Choice Summer Song with her major Hit We Can’t Stop, but also Choice TV Scene Stealer – Female for her work on Sitcom, Two and a Half Men and the CANDIE’S Fashion Trendsetter Award. In her Acceptance Speech, she stated: “I want to thank my Team, my Fans, my Friends, My Boo. Everyone who made this happen for me.”. The Couple were seen together earlier this week on the Red Carpet at the Los Angeles Premiere for his latest Film, Paranoia.
In addition to sweeping several of the Music categories, including Choice Music Group, Choice Love Song, Choice Summer Song and Choice Single by a Group, One Direction‘s Styles stole the Show tonight performing a quick rendition of the Twerk, which is taking the World by storm.
