Jeremiah Terminator LeRoy tells the true story of Laura (Laura Dern) who created a writing persona called Jeremiah ‘Terminator’ LeRoy. When questions arise about who this LeRoy guy is she gets her sister-in-law, Savannah (Kristen Stewart), to play him in public. This Film will be having its World Premiere as the Closing Night Gala.
This true story is brought to life beautifully and full of authentic humour by Writer-Director Justin Kelly. These complicated, intelligent, and funny real-life women are brought to the big screen perfectly by Dern and Stewart. Both have magnetic chemistry on-screen and grasp and visualize all the complexities that Savannah and Laura were experiencing.
Jeremiah Terminator LeRoy will screen at TIFF on Saturday, September 15 at 6:30 PM at Princess Of Wales, Saturday, September 15 at 8 PM at Roy Thompson Hall, and Sunday, September 16 at 2:30 PM at Ryerson Theatre.

Lizzie takes place six months leading up to the murder of Lizzie Borden’s father and step-mother. It follows the relationship between Borden (Chloë Sevigny) and the Irish housemaid Bridget Sullivan (Kristen Stewart), who lived in the Borden house during that time.
Writer Bryce Kass based the Film off a theory of what happened in the Borden house the day of the murders, August 4 1892. And Director Craig William Macneill creates the period and intimate moments between Borden and Sullivan beautifully. Sevigny relishes in Borden and makes her captivating. While seen often as a murderer, she humanizes the character and makes the audience feel something for her. Stewart masters the Irish accent and captures the innocence in Bridget’s eyes. Together their chemistry is explosive.
Lizzie screens at Sundance on Jan. 19 at 9PM at PC Library, Jan. 20 at 8:30AM at Prospector PC, Jan. 21 at 12:15PM at The Grand SLC, Jan. 25 at 9:30PM at Eccles PC, and Jan. 26 at 12PM at Temple PC.

It’s day two here at Sundance Film Festival and the momentum is building quickly. Main Street in Park City is buzzing with parties day and night. One of the main hotspots was the Sundance TV Kickoff Party where we spotted the likes of Terry Crews and Dominic Cooper. Moments after, a much in-the-news Ashley Judd was seen in the vicinity stopping for a Selfie.
It isn’t only the parties that are warming-up a snowy Park City, it’s also the starpower. Several Red Carpets took place including American Animals, a Heist Thriller starring Evan Peters and Barry Keoghan; Don’t Worry He Wont Get Far On Foot directed by Gus Van Sant (Milk, Elephant) and starring Jonah Hill and Joaquin Phoenix about a disabled rights Activist John Callahan who turns to drawing after becoming paralyzed; Lizzie starring Producer Chloe Sevigny and Kristen Stewart which is said to be Beautiful Creatures-like and based on the Borden Family murders; and Mandy starring Nicolas Cage as a man hunting a religious sect which killed his wife, all premiered tonight in Park City.
See the Teaser for the new Van Sant Film below:

Auteur and Festival favourite Olivier Assayas returns with his latest, Personal Shopper, an eclectic mixture of the supernatural, a Thriller and heartfelt Drama. Reuniting with numerous members of the cast from Clouds of Sils Maria, this is truly unlike anything we’ve ever seen.
Front and center in a phenomenal performance is Kristen Stewart as Maureen, whose fraternal twin dies suddenly in Paris. Her brother we learn like she, was a medium and she becomes obsessed with any confirmation from him that there is an afterlife. She finds herself in Paris seeking answers, but takes a job with a demanding celebrity (Nora von Waldstätten) as her personal assistant, which keeps diverting her from her mission.
Mysteriously, she begins receiving text messages which could lead her to danger. The question is, we never are certain if these are the doing of a ghost, someone with malicious intent or within her own mind.
Stewart captures perfectly a complex range of emotions in Maureen as she at once grieves, hungers for answers, grappling with frustration and also fearing for her own life.
Personal Shopper screens at TIFF:
Saturday, September 10, 2016 9:00 PM at Scotiabank Theatre 1
Sunday, September 18, 2016 6:30 PM at Scotiabank Theatre 1

The Shot of the Day! Gorgeous Kristen Stewart brought Fandemonium to Ryerson Theatre tonight with hoards of Fans queuing for hours for a chance to see her. Despite suffering from much controversy of late, Stewart handled the situation with poise, taking time to pose for Photos with several Fans tonight.
Stewart, along with her Co-Stars Garrett Hedlund, Kirsten Dunst and Director Walter Salles, enjoyed a quiet Dinner together at George, before heading back to their Premiere for a quick Q&A with Fans.

Many of you might remember him from Disney‘s TRON 3D. Garrett Hedlund arrived in Toronto earlier today along with Kirsten Dunst, to promote their latest Film, On the Road. Drawing a huge crowd together with Twilight Star Kristen Stewart, Hedlund was spotted at a Private Cast Dinner at George, before returning back to Ryerson Theatre for a much-delayed Q&A together with Director Walter Salles and his Cast Mates.
I was so close to getting a Photo with him, before he was rushed-off!
