I know little about Football, I know sure as heck that I’m super-excited about those Ads that premiere before the World.  After having discovered the amazingness that is Sodastream – a Do-It-Yourself Home Soda Maker – at the Delicious Food Show last Fall, I have been obsessing ever since about owning one.  They are just ridiculously sleek and sexy, hence it is so fitting that Scarlett Johansson has been named an Ambassador for the bubbly Brand.  Hot!

As if we need a reason to look at Chris Evans!  Marvel Studios have just released this brand new Trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier and here we see Steve Rogers (Evans) trying to adjust to a normal life, but before he knows it, he’s back in action yet again and out to save the World!

Official Synopsis:

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. You can just sense how bittersweet this is going to be. Spike Jonze writes and directs HER, a Rom-Com starring Joaquin Phoenix, about about a Man who falls in love with an Operating System designed to cater to his every need. Rooney Mara, Amy Adams, Chris Pratt, Portia Doubleday and Scarlett Johansson also star, the latter who voices the Operating System, Samantha.  I’ve heard of people loving their Computers, but this is beyond.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt tries his hand (pardon the pun) at Acting/Writing and Directing in Don Jon, a Porn Addict from New Jersey who tries finding happiness with a Girl who potentially could be “the one”. Although it wasn’t formally announced at last week’s list of Films to premiere at TIFF ’13, this Comedy was later confirmed by Canadian Distributor Mongrel Media to screen at this year’s Festival.

Don Jon features a superb Cast including Julianne Moore, Scarlett Johansson, Tony Danza and I think we even see a Cameo from Anne Hathaway in there!  It is said Gordon-Levitt wrote the part of his Girlfriend specifically for Johansson.

It’s official! Production has begun on Marvel‘s Captain America: The Winter Soldier! Taking place between Los Angeles, Cleveland and Washington, D.C. the Action/Adventure picks-up where the first Film in the Franchise left-off, teaming Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) to battle a powerful Enemy in Washington, D.C.

“I’m just a Man hiding in a corner… with a Camera”.

Oscar, we have a Dark Horse. Entertainment Weekly gets the first glimpse at Hitchcock and today from Fox Searchlight, we get a look at the first official Poster and Trailer for the Biopic about one of the most iconic Filmmakers of all time.  The Film is set around the making of Psycho and focuses on the Love Story between Alfred Hitchcock (Anthony Hopkins) and his Wife, Alma Reville (Helen Mirren).

Director Sacha Gervasi tells EW a little about Hitchcock in this Film stating, “Hitch lived in this world of fantasy; to him it was more real than real life. And I think Alma was able to kind of, in this film at least, smash it down a little bit”.  This will be Gervasi‘s first time helming a Feature Film, after dabbling in Screenwriting with 2004’s The Terminal and 2010’s Henry’s Crime.  Read more here.
