Super queen RuPaul Charles leads a glam cast in Adam Shankman’s STOP! THAT! TRAIN!, a campy comedy that features icons from the Drag Race universe like Jujubee, Ginger Minj, Symone, Brooke Lynn Hytes and Marcia Marcia Marcia. Also making appearances are Sarah Michelle Gellar, Rachel Bloom, Nicole Richie, Lisa Rinna, Raven-Symoné, Jerry O’Connell, Chris
Parnell, Charo… that’s just a few. Phew! The film opened Inside Out 2026.
Our chats with the Shankman, Jujubee and Producer Tom Campbell:
Besties Tess (Ginger Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee) are train stewardesses who work dreary shifts on the low-rung Stank Rail. When they get pink slipped, the duo end up wrangling jobs on the Glamazonian Express, a glitzy bullet train that promises a journey of excess. Mind you, they are relegated to coach duty. But when a massive storm (Stormaganza!) threatens to derail the train
and crash it into Florida, Tess and DeeDee join forces with the snobby first class attendants (Symone, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Marcia Marcia Marcia). Along with Madame President (RuPaul), they must do anything to stop! that! train!
A treat for the senses, the film is punctuated with color (reds, pinks, sparkle!) and sprinkled with a couple of original song-and-dance numbers in the aisles.
No surprise that Adam Shankman has his stewardesses dancing, given that his many credits include Emmy-winning So You Think Can Dance (judge), 82nd Annual Academy Awards (co-producer/lead choreographer), RuPaul’s Drag Race (guest judge/choreographer) and iconic Hairspray (director/choreographer). Script is by Christina Friel & Connor Wright. Choreography
is by Jamal Sims, and songwriting by Leland, both Drag Race contributors.
Fun fact:
Director of Photography is Luka Bazeli. His father shot Shankmans’s Hairspray and Rock of Ages. Luka had spent time on those sets as a teenager.
STOP! THAT! TRAIN! is being released in Canada by Mongrel Media.
Today, BritBox revealed the official trailer for A Woman of Substance, premiering on June 24, 2026 in the U.S. and Canada. The 8-episode BritBox Original series will debut with two episodes, followed by a weekly episodic rollout. Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Barbara Taylor Bradford OBE, A Woman of Substance is an epic period drama spanning six decades, charting the rise of Emma Harte from penniless Yorkshire maid in the early 1900s to powerful 1970s business mogul. Through love, loss, war, and unrelenting ambition, Emma amasses power, outwits rivals, and shapes her own destiny.
The series stars Brenda Blethyn (Vera, Little Voice) and Jessica Reynolds (House of Guinness, Outlander) as the two versions of the iconic character Emma Harte. Additional cast include Emmett J. Scanlan (MobLand), Lydia Leonard (Ten Percent), Leanne Best (The Walk-In), Ewan Horrocks (The Last Kingdom), Harry Cadby (Everything Now), Will Mellor (Broadchurch), Lenny Rush (Am I Being Unreasonable?), Niall Wright (Slow Horses), Robert Wilfort (Gavin & Stacey) Mara Huf (Tetris) and Toby Regbo (Outrageous).
The series finds Emma in 1911, an impoverished ambitious maid in Yorkshire, England, who goes on a dizzying journey to become the world’s richest woman, gazing down from a sprawling luxury New York penthouse. A rags-to-riches tale of women through the 20th century, Emma defies the expectations of her society, fearlessly challenging the roles she’s given, smashing glass ceilings, and never, ever deviating from her masterplan: Get to the top. Whatever it takes.
The series is created, written by and executive produced by Katherine Jakeways. Roanne Bardsley co-wrote and co-executive produced the series with Beth Willis, Joe Innes, George Faber executive producing for The Forge Entertainment. The Barbara Taylor Bradford Trust also executive produces. John Hardwick (Eps. 1-3), Samantha Harrie (Eps. 4-5) and Richard Senior (Eps. 6-8) directed the series.
The series will stream on BritBox in North America following a deal with Banijay Rights, which handles international distribution.

SYNOPSIS
FATHERLAND centres on the relationship between the Nobel Prize-winning writer Thomas Mann (Hanns Zischler) and his daughter Erika (Sandra Hüller) – actress, writer and rally driver. In the summer of 1949, at the height of the Cold War, father and daughter embark on a challenging and emotional road trip in a black Buick taking them across a Germany in ruins – from US dominated Frankfurt to Soviet controlled Weimar. Returning home after sixteen years of exile in the US, Thomas Mann has to face not only a divided fatherland, but also a deep fracture within his own family.
With FATHERLAND, Pawlikowski picks up where he left off with his award-winning Ida and Cold War, exploring – in his elliptic, distilled style – the themes of identity, family, love and guilt amid the turmoil and confusion of post-war Europe.

“Star City” is the new, highly anticipated drama from award-winning creators Ben Nedivi, Matt Wolpert and Ronald D. Moore, which expands the world of “For All Mankind.” A bold new chapter inspired by the critically acclaimed space-race drama, “Star City” is a propulsive paranoid thriller that takes us back to the key moment in the alt-history retelling of the space race — when the Soviet Union became the first nation to put a man on the moon. But this time, we explore the story from behind the Iron Curtain, showing the lives of the cosmonauts, the engineers and the intelligence officers embedded among them in the Soviet space program, and the risks they all took to propel humankind forward.
The series stars Rhys Ifans, Anna Maxwell Martin, Agnes O’Casey, Alice Englert, Solly McLeod, Adam Nagaitis, Ruby Ashbourne Serkis, Josef Davies and Priya Kansara.
“Star City” is created by Nedivi, Wolpert and Moore. Wolpert and Nedivi serve as showrunners and executive produce alongside Moore and Maril Davis of Tall Ship Productions, and Andrew Chambliss and Steve Oster.

The series also stars Brandon Flynn, Murray Bartlett, Dolly De Leon, Jessy Hodges, Jon Michael Hill, Charlie Hall, Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg and Nola Wallace.
Hailing from Apple Studios and Counterpart Studios, the series is written and executive produced by creator and showrunner David J. Rosen, and directed and executive produced by David Gordon Green. Kelley, and starring and executive produced by Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award nominee Elle Fanning and Academy Award and Emmy Award nominee Michelle Pfeiffer, “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” is a bold, heartwarming and comedic family drama following recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooter’s waitress (Pfeiffer) and ex-pro wrestler (Nick Offerman), as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them.
