This romance is so lit!  As the temperatures continue to scorch Toronto in an abnormal late September heatwave, Prince Harry and Actress Meghan Markle also are igniting some serious flames of their own. With the Invictus Games well under way in the City, Prince Harry as enthusiastic as ever is doing his rounds raising awareness for the Games saluting sick and wounded war personnel. Today however was extra special.  That is, while Markle and Harry have been dating for over a year now, today at Nathan Phillips Square the couple for the first time ever walked hand in hand and appeared together publicly!

About 10 minutes prior to a scheduled Wheelchair Tennis match, the Couple walked over with a few handlers entering quietly from a bridge connected to Sheraton Hotel, across the road from the landmark.  The appearance was low-key as they sat by the City’s famed namesake sign watching the match all smiles.  Equally quiet was their exit post-match walking a couple flights of stairs back over to the Hotel as onlookers raised their cell phones for a memento.

Harry is to remain in Toronto for the remainder of the Invictus Games.

Synopsis:
In Texas, years before the events of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, in the early days of the infamous Sawyer family, the youngest child is sentenced to a mental hospital after a suspicious incident leaves the sheriff’s daughter dead. Ten years later, the Sawyer teen kidnaps a young nurse and escapes with three other inmates. Pursued by authorities including the deranged sheriff out to avenge his daughter’s death, Sawyer goes on a violent road trip from hell, molding him into the monster now known as Leatherface.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from this Franchise with the wait for its injured star Dylan O’Brien on the path to wellness, but at long last comes a new Trailer for MAZE RUNNER: THE DEATH CURE!

Synopsis:
In the epic finale to the Maze Runner saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze.

Fame came fast and furious for Ali Wong, the Funnywoman in Toronto to headline the Just for Laughs Festival, selling-out four shows at both Wintergarden Theatre and Sony Centre for the Performing Arts.

After honing her craft for many years as an Actress (credits include Oliver Stone‘s Savages and Inside Amy Schumer), a Stand-Up Comedian cutting her teeth before the tough-to-please New York crowd and a Writer (she has penned three seasons of ABC’s Fresh Off The Boat), San Francisco-born Wong gained much popularity through her 2015 Netflix Special, Ali Wong: Baby Cobra.  Almost unheard-of she taped the Special covering several provocative topics, while seven months pregnant.

Wong at Wintergarden Theatre just recorded an upcoming special for Netflix, footage to be taken from two back-to-back shows debuting new material including her new-found perspective as a mom.  She appeared tonight at Sony Centre, her final of four sold-out appearances with hilarious opener Kevin Camia. More here.

While airing her grievances about giving childbirth, she heard the cries of a baby in the audience and a fan with her six-month-old baby came forward to the stage. Wong joked that the point of the Show was to escape babies and questioned whether she was really hearing a baby or if it was actually PTSD!

True to form, KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE builds upon its Franchise’s success with a #1 debut for 20th Century Fox. The star-studded Sequel earns $38.3 million in its debut from 4,003 theatres across North America. It earns 51% from Critics on the Tomatometer and a B+ CinemaScore. Its Predecessor from 2015 earned $36 million in its debut.

IT after two weeks on-top slips to second with $29.1 million, still a strong showing in its third week out for Warner Bros.  It has made $265 million over three weeks.

THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE debuts in third with $21 million for Warner Bros. from  4,047 theatres. It gets 53% from Critics on the Tomatometer and a B+ CinemaScore.

AMERICAN ASSASSIN is in fourth with $6.1 million in its second week out for Lionsgate Films/eOne Films, a total $26 earned domestically.

The highly-divisive mother! earns $3 million for Paramount Pictures in week two of release, a total $13.1 million grossed thus far.

FRIEND REQUEST debuts in eight for D Films/Entertainment Studios in 2,569 theatres with $1.8 million. It gets 20% on the Tomatometer and a C+ CinemaScore.

WIND RIVER rounds-out the Top Ten with $1.3 million from 1,431 theatres for The Weinstein Co./VVS Films. The successful Indie over eight weeks has accumulated $31.7 million in earnings.

Taking place throughout the Greater Toronto Area between September 23-30, the Invictus Games are set to take over Toronto. Created by Prince Harry of Wales, the games have sick or injured war personnel competing in various sports like swimming, wheelchair basketball or sitting volleyball. Harry made various stops around today including a Symposium at Scotia Plaza and an appearance to visit athletes in training at Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.

Harry was in great spirits chatting with Australian swimmers who gifted him with a stuffed kangaroo, posing for a pic with it. One swimmer taking a nap got a pleasant awakening with Harry tapping him awake for a hug!

The 2017 HONDA CIVIC 5D SPORT TOURING‘s rear-view camera and parking assist made navigating those tight parking spots in Entertainment District a real breeze. Above this, highway driving also is made simple even in our zombie-like state with lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and road departure mitigation.

It is incredibly intuitive with collision mitigation braking and forward collision warnings, so you can drive with that piece of mind that this car has your back. Visibility is not an issue in our unpredictable weather, climate controls is ultra-powered to defog those windows and there also are rear-window wipers which is a must for us.
