INDIGO present their 2022 WRAPPED and more than ever before readers are craving Memoirs and Romance! Coming this month are new Memoirs from Prince Harry and Canada’s own Pamela Anderson.
Biographies were as popular as ever this past year as we’ve seen Canadians take a particular interest in peeling back the pages on the lives of celebrities, athletes, the royal family and more,” says Rania Husseini, Indigo Senior Vice President, Print. “We’re looking forward to another incredible year for this category, and for non-fiction overall. This month, along with Prince Harry’s book SPARE, Canadian authors like Humble the Poet continue to make their mark with exciting new releases, alongside debut authors like Monica Heisey, all of which support Canadians in their desire to access Canadian content.”
In addition to this, Indigo has compiled some eye-catching insights from its data team:
-A Rise in Romance: In the last two years, romance book sales have more than doubled, with TikTok driving increased interest.
-Biographies are Booming: Over the past five years, three biographies have been in the top 20 bestsellers across all categories, with two in the top five. Based on the success of past celebrity biographies, Indigo predicts 2023 will be the year of the biographies, because once they boom, they REALLY boom.

It’s Harry & Meaghan‘s world and we’re living in it! Netflix present a new Docu-Series which goes deep into their story and relationships. Here’s a glimpse at the new Trailer.
ABOUT THE SERIES: In an unprecedented and in-depth documentary series, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex share the other side of their high-profile love story. From the critically-acclaimed, two-time Academy Award-nominated and Emmy-winning director Liz Garbus, Harry & Meghan is a never-before-seen look at one of the most-discussed couples in history. |

Prince Harry continues to make the rounds in support of his Invictus Games and attended a Reception with several athletes at famed landmark the CN Tower tonight. The Royal last visited the venue as a child in 1991. Fans lined barricades set-up from Bremner Boulevard to the Tower’s entrance hoping for a glimpse of him.
Arriving shortly before 7:30 PM EST after a busy day of golf St. George’s Golf Club and watching Cycling at High Park, Prince Harry took his time shaking hands with Torontonians and reminding to support the Games. While selective whom he took photos with, insisting that others take the photo versus a Selfie, Harry was more than kind to engage despite being in a rush to head off to his next appearance at Mattamy Athletic Centre. Unfortunately, no sign of potential Princess Meghan Markle tonight.
Despite rushed, we got in a quick hello with the Prince as he walked the line!

This romance is so lit! As the temperatures continue to scorch Toronto in an abnormal late September heatwave, Prince Harry and Actress Meghan Markle also are igniting some serious flames of their own. With the Invictus Games well under way in the City, Prince Harry as enthusiastic as ever is doing his rounds raising awareness for the Games saluting sick and wounded war personnel. Today however was extra special. That is, while Markle and Harry have been dating for over a year now, today at Nathan Phillips Square the couple for the first time ever walked hand in hand and appeared together publicly!
About 10 minutes prior to a scheduled Wheelchair Tennis match, the Couple walked over with a few handlers entering quietly from a bridge connected to Sheraton Hotel, across the road from the landmark. The appearance was low-key as they sat by the City’s famed namesake sign watching the match all smiles. Equally quiet was their exit post-match walking a couple flights of stairs back over to the Hotel as onlookers raised their cell phones for a memento.
Harry is to remain in Toronto for the remainder of the Invictus Games.

Taking place throughout the Greater Toronto Area between September 23-30, the Invictus Games are set to take over Toronto. Created by Prince Harry of Wales, the games have sick or injured war personnel competing in various sports like swimming, wheelchair basketball or sitting volleyball. Harry made various stops around today including a Symposium at Scotia Plaza and an appearance to visit athletes in training at Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.
Harry was in great spirits chatting with Australian swimmers who gifted him with a stuffed kangaroo, posing for a pic with it. One swimmer taking a nap got a pleasant awakening with Harry tapping him awake for a hug!
