Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Her mother reluctantly tells Mikey he can stay on the couch, but only if he gets a job and contributes to the rent.

Some girls just have it all! Gorgeous Kim Lee brought Toronto back out to the clubs tonight as Ontario has removed capacity limits on indoor events in this latest stage of our re-opening. The Model, DJ and star of hit Netflix Reality Series BLING EMPIRE, headlined at Rebel Night Club on the City’s Waterfront. The Series absolutely saved us during the Pandemic!

Lee currently is playing a weekly gig at the Wynn in Las Vegas and amidst her busy schedule, made this her first appearance ever in Toronto! And she Tweeted that she loves it here!

She was able to fit-in a super quick visit at Z1035 studios as well after arriving!

Lee was met on-stage with a drumming band and cheerleaders!

We were so drawn to Lee after learning about her story on BLING EMPIRE, and were so touched by her journey searching for her father. We just can’t wait to see more in Season Two which is said to be coming soon!

It was amazing getting to meet Lee quickly, exchanging our love for another! So beautiful inside and out♥️

It’s all THE BATMAN and the rest of them this weekend as this latest DC Comics adaptation pulls moviegoers back out in droves. This latest Film starring Robert Pattison, makes $120 million in its opening, from 4,417 theatres for Warner Bros. This makes it the biggest opening for a movie thus far in 2022. Critical reactions have been strong, with an 85% score on the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer. Biggest opening for the Batman franchise still goes to 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which debuted with $166 million.

UNCHARTED falls to second spot after a strong run its first two weeks out, with $12,4 million from 3,875 theatres for Sony Pictures, a tally of $101.6 million in its third weekend.

Third goes to DOG with $6.5 million, a total $40.4 million from 3,507 theatres in this third weekend for United Artists Releasing/Elevation Pictures.

SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME is in fourth with $4.7 million from 2,709 theatres for Sony Pictures, making its way to $786 million domestically.

Fifth belongs to DEATH ON THE NILE, with $2.9 million for 20th Century Studios, a total $37 million to date.

Nominees have been announced for the 2022 BAFTA Awards, set to take place on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at London’s Royal Albert Hall. DUNE leads nominees with a total 11 nominations including BEST FILM and various technical categories, though Director Denis Villeneuve is omitted from the Director category. Interestingly, Kristen Stewart is not nominated for Leading Actress in her portrayal of Diana in Spencer.

In light of recent events, Lighthouse Immersive has decided to expedite their IMMERSIVE SHEVCHENKO: SOUL OF UKRAINE exhibit, celebrating the work of Ukrainian artist, poet, philosopher and public figure Taras Shevchenko. Above this, proceeds will be going to Canadian Red Cross and other humanitarian organizations working in Ukraine that ticket buyers may select when they purchase their ticket. The Exhibit arrives March 15, 2022 in Toronto, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles and Boston.

Overview:

In 2021, Ukrainian-born Lighthouse Immersive Associate Producer Valeriy Kostyuk, working with a Ukraine-based team including Producer Natalia Delieva, Creative Director Tais Poda, Composer Timur Polyansky, and Curator-Consultant Dmytro Stus, developed and launched an immersive exhibit of Shvenchenko’s work in Odesa as part of the 30^th anniversary celebration of Ukrainian independence. Kostyuk sought to apply the artistry and innovation that Lighthouse Immersive practiced with Vincent Van Gogh to one of Ukraine’s most beloved cultural figures. He was able to work with the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko in Kyiv to obtain access to their collection of paintings, resulting in a one-of-a-kind sensory experience that President Zelensky himself visited before the war began. Now, Lighthouse Immersive is working with the Ukrainian producers in Kyiv and Odesa to bring the exhibit to North America so they can share Ukrainian art and culture with audiences abroad while raising funds for an urgent cause.
