We are thrilled to present to you our amazing official partners for the Festival this year. We wouldn’t be able to bring you the Festival at the scale we do without their generosity and support. And there just might be something in it for you guys too! That’s why you need to be following on FB, IG and X.

Stay tuned to Southwestern Ontario’s leading news channel for our exclusive sightings and updates, and as always we will be appearing live throughout the Festival. There may even be a beanie sighting! We’ll be on multiple times, starting with appearances on August 31, 2025 on Live at 5, September 4, 2025 and September 9, 2025 in the morning.
GOOGLE PIXEL & GEMINI LIVE – Google Pixel is an official partner of TIFF ’25 and we are thrilled also to using this wonderphone for our TIFF coverage, including those “world famous selfies”! Together with its Circle Search to see what celebs are wearing (and hence, finding affordable dupes) and also Magic Editor to remove unwanted distractions from photos, this is the perfect phone for us! The star of the show will be Gemini Live on our phone, will help us quickly whip together a schedule for TIFF, plus which films suit our personal preferences!
HONDA CANADA – We are teaming-up with our friends at Honda Canada to drive a 2025 Honda Accord Touring Hybrid this year at TIFF. Where will our chariot take us? We soon will see! The midsize luxury sedan with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, 16-Valve DOHC with Dual Variable Timing Control (VTC) engine, Luxury and purpose, a perfect drive for our every day and hectic lifestyle. Incredible fuel economy at 5.0/5.7/5.3 litres/100 km and a litany of active and passive safety features.

They are one of our favourites for delicious, elevated and fuss-free dining. We will never turn down a hand roll and nobody is doing it better than them! Their house Sake and Draft Matcha also are luscious.
OEB BREAKFAST CO. – The Brunch authority from Calgary has found a welcome home in Toronto, with two thriving locations in the City already. In addition, they are a returning official TIFF hospitality partner again this year. Hands down, our favourite spot to brunch at with the most drool-worthy poutines, blue plates, benedicts, and more.

Being able to go into the Festival with a fresh face gives us rejuvenation and confidence to approach this very hectic time.

The lights of the Midway have dimmed, and the aroma of freshly made Tiny Tom Donuts is gone, but there’s still plenty of activity at the Canadian National Exhibition as hundreds of vendors begin the process of loading out and concluding another successful season.
Today, the CNE in partnership with Second Harvest, Canada’s largest food rescue organization, along with participating food vendors donated more than 25,000 lbs of surplus produce, canned goods and leftover prepared foods to be distributed to communities experiencing food insecurity. This is the CNE’s 2nd annual food rescue with Second Harvest; last year, nearly 30 CNE vendors helped to pack a truckload full of food to feed families across the GTA and surrounding communities.
As Canada’s largest community event, the CNE recognizes its responsibility to the community to ensure that any waste it produces, during its 18-day event, including food surplus, can be offset to promote a circular economy.
The food rescue initiative is part of the CNE’s overarching commitment to environmental stewardship. Over the past year, the CNE conducted a comprehensive evaluation of its sustainability initiatives and waste diversion practices and identified opportunities to set ambitious, measurable goals to significantly reduce waste, enhance operational efficiency and champion sustainable practices.
This year (as of Aug. 29) the CNE has diverted more than 25 metric tonnes of waste from landfills, as a result of its sustainability efforts.
CNE Firsts:
2008: CNE was the first event at Exhibition Place to introduce organic recycling for food waste and organic materials
2008: CNE introduced new solar powered concessions games on the midway
2010: CNE eliminated all Styrofoam packaging
2018: CNE begins to collect waste from cooking oils to be processed, refined, cleaned and repurposed for a variety of agricultural productive uses including animal feed, biofuel, and soil for Ontario farms
2022: CNE bans the use of plastic straws, encouraging compostable straws, utensils, containers, plates and cups
2025: CNE introduces a waste diversion program mandating all food vendors to use a third-party certification that ensures all food serving packaging is 100% compostable
2025: The CNE, through a partnership with Coca-Cola introduced Oscar AI machines to help guests sort and identify the proper bin to dispose of their food, plastics, and waste
