English Thespian Alexander Siddig already has quite the cult following, known affectionately as Dr. Julian Bashir for his work in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Add to that his body of work which includes the likes of Game of Thrones, Syriana, Cairo Time, Atlantis and Primeval, Toronto once again welcomes the star back as he begins work on FOX TV Pilot RECON. Siddig in previous years has been in the City for TIFF for Inescapable and Cairo Time.
According to Synopsis, the Pilot centers around Alexa (Tracy Spiridakos), a young, driven FBI analyst tasked with embedding herself in a suspected terrorist family. Siddig plays her target Omar, a father, husband and devout Muslim who has no idea the Feds have been tracking his every move.
We spotted Siddig doing groceries earlier and he was a great sport about stopping for a quick Selfie, telling a Fan in a T-Shirt to keep warm!

Washington native Noah Robbins has been in Toronto for the past month working on gun control drama MISS SLOANE. He has garnered acclaim for his work on Broadway in productions like Bright Beach Memoirs, Arcadia and an off-Broadway production of Secrets of the Trade.
Robbins since has appeared on popular series like Masters of Sex, The Good Wife, Orange is the New Black and Gotham. His career very much is headed the right direction with the Oscar bait of a project he’s filming here in the City in which he stars as the slightly-geeky junior, Franklin Walsh. More recently he was on the ratings hit, GREASE LIVE! as Eugene, which now is in stores!
We by chance spotted Robbins out today with a friend and recall seeing him in passing when visiting the set of MISS SLOANE earlier this week, when we met Mark Strong! Great guy and we’re excited to follow his bright career ahead!

English Thespian Mark Strong was a late addition to drama Miss Sloane, but a welcome one indeed! We last caught up with the star in 2011 when he visited for the Green Lantern Press Tour. He just last year was voted one of GQ‘s Best Dressed Men of 2015, crediting the late David Bowie as his own style icon. We were thrilled to see him just as gracious as we remember him!
Miss Sloane began filming in Toronto last month and continues to do so through April. Starring Jessica Chastain, the John Madden (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Shakespeare in Love) Film centers on an ambitious lobbyist up against a powerful gun lobby in an attempt to pass gun control legislation. Alison Pill, Michael Stuhlbarg, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Jake Lacy (!!) also star.
A busy man indeed, Strong was just in Los Angeles promoting new Comedy The Brothers Grimsby in which he stars alongside Sacha Baron Cohen and immediately returned to work this week. The crew and cast have been busy working late into the night in Financial District filming interior and exterior scenes.
Strong’s résumé continues to wow with roles in important recent releases like Kingsman: The Secret Service, The Imitation Game and Zero Dark Thirty, the latter reuniting him with Chastain. The two appear to be colleagues at the same firm here as per what we saw. But we’ll know perhaps Awards Season?

Making a throw back to Young MC, you’ve gotta check-out this hot track from Sophie Beem! Currently on tour with Charlie Puth, who makes a Toronto stopoff at Mod Club Monday, March 28, 2016, Beem is set to make a splash. She at least turned quite a few heads at their L.A. show at Fonda Theatre the other day with Beyoncé and Jay-Z coming out to watch her at the show!
In the meantime, enjoy first single I Got It ft. Fetty Wap!
Certified sizzle!
Definitely keep a tab on Beem, whose five-track EP is now out on iTunes here!

Kiefer‘s back! Toronto’s pride and joy makes his way back to the City for new series DESIGNATED SURVIVOR. Filming between March and October, the eOne-distributed Series centers on a low level cabinet member named Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland) who suddenly is appointed POTUS after a catastrophic attack on the United States.
We spotted Co-stars LaMonica Garrett (Transformers: Dark od the Moon, Daddy’s Home) and Adan Canto (X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Following) out and about as the Series gears up for production this week. Garrett plays a secret service officer to Sutherland‘s Tom. Canto plays White House Deputy Chief of Staff, Aaron. Both handsome lads were more than kind to stop for a Snap. We’re really curious about this Series which also stars Maggie Q, Italia Ricci and Natascha McElhone.
See our Snaps with Barrett and Canto:

Hmm… curious if we’ll see Kiefer next weekend at the Canadian Screen Awards? His brother Rossif is nominated for his Film, RIVER.

As preparations are under way for FOX‘s Rocky Horror Picture Show, the star spottings continue to roll-in. Christina Milian provided significantly to our soundtrack becoming an adult in the early ’00s. Hits like Between Me and You (with Ja Rule), AM to PM, Dip it Low were staples for the MTV generation.
Since her Pop days, Milian has enjoyed popularity as a television personality on E!’s Christina Milian Turned Up and a correspondent on The Voice.
While shopping at Pusateri‘s we ran into Milian who was stocking up for the week ahead and it appears she’s on a high protein diet in preparation for her role as Magenta.
The FOX TV Movie remake of the 1975 Cult Classic, stars also Staz Nair in the titular role, Reeve Carney, Adam Lambert, Laverne Cox, Victoria Justice and Tim Curry, who starred in the original although still has yet to arrive. We also spotted Cox out and about in an Uber and Justice with her family too! Cox however, made it clear she wanted her privacy.
See her shock at getting a limo for her Uber today!
See our Snap with the amazing Milian:
We also spotted Co-Star Ben Vereen (Reading Rainbow, Webster, Top Five) who stars as Dr. Everett Scott. He was just too gracious!

There still is no confirmed release date for Rocky Horror Picture Show, but we are hoping for Halloween?
We met some of the other cast members of the upcoming Remake last month. More on that here.
