Funnyman T.J. Miller finally is seeing the fruits of his labour being front and center where he belongs. After cutting his teeth several years on the stand-up circuit, he headlines his own show tomorrow night as part of his Alternative Comedy Tour which hits Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. He appears tonight in Ottawa.
Making the most of his time here, he has had a whirlwind past couple days doing lots of radio and television including CP24 Breakfast, Your Morning, Q, The Morning Show and The Roz and Mocha Show. Miller gathered the energy for a radio appearance before the break of dawn, donning a Remembrance Day poppy, soda and Starbucks in his hand. All the caffeines, please. ✔ Don’t act like you haven’t been there!
The star of She’s Out of My League, Silicon Valley, Deadpool and The Emoji Movie filmed a quick cameo here for GOON 2: LAST OF THE ENFORCERS in the City too last year. While he’s known for his signature humour, Miller actually tells The Roz and Mocha Show that his acting roots are more rooted in Horror. He can be seen next alongside Kristen Stewart in Thriller Underwater.

Golden Globe-nominated Actress and 10-million-album-selling Singer/Songwriter Mandy Moore returned to the City today, a place she has visited multiple times over the span of her accomplished career. We have been following Moore‘s work since she popped on the scene in 1999 with debut single Candy and it was impossible not to be affected by her amazing work in A Walk to Remember and Disney‘s Tangled. Thanks to the meteoric success of NBC’s This is Us, we’ve been seeing a lot more Moore lately and we love it! The heartfelt Series which has her starring in the role of Rebecca Pearson has people realizing how big a fan they really are of the multi-talented star.
Here to promote the upcoming season finale of THIS IS US on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 on CTV, its 17th episode airing Tuesday, March 7, 2017 after a short hiatus. Now’s our chance to get caught-up!
We have been a fan from the start and it has been a thrill seeing her career continue to blossom. She was in amazing spirits today and looked so beautiful stopping for us in the cold outside KISS 92.5 Studios after her Roz & Mocha Show appearance.

They’ve already enjoyed the success of a huge fan following online, catapulted further by a much-talked-about appearance on the American Music Awards.
A Capella quintet Pentatonix may have enjoyed a Thanksgiving Weekend with their families this weekend but they were all work tonight performing a private show for contest winners only at KISS Theatre, sponsored by KISS 92.5. Consisting of Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Avi Kaplan, Mitch Grassi and Kevin Ulusola, the group have been to Toronto on multiple occasions over the past couple years including last year for their holiday disc.
Having just released their self-titled disc ths Fall, Pentatonix‘s popularity long has been in-the-making. The album peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 200.
We caught up with members Avi and Kirstie earlier and they were amazingly nice to accommodating to fans including a mother and daughter duo who skipped work and school to see them arrive! Other members arrived earlier over the weekend.

Jamaican Singer OMI (born Omar Pasley) is in Toronto to promote his latest single which after making huge waves internationally, is splashing it up stateside also. His sunny single Cheerleader has been burning up the airwaves for some time now and bit of promo might just be what it takes to make the track our official Song of the Summer.
Omi was at KISS 92.5 at 6 AM to begin his Press Day, performing a live acoustic version of Cheerleader on The Morning Show with Roz & Mocha, before heading off to Breakfast Television. Donning a colourful fedora and sunglasses, he certainly looked the part spreading a bit of that island warmth this way.

She’s a Survivor to say the least. Lynda Carter at age 63 still continues to exude an ageless beauty. The former Miss USA, known best as the original Wonder Woman in the Television Series which spanned 1975 through 1979, is in Toronto to make a rare appearance. Also a Singer, Carter will be appearing live at Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts where she will via Music intertwine her path to success as a Diva.
Despite being ushered-in via the Loading Dock at a KISS 92.5 appearance earlier today in support of her Show, Carter would face her Fans eventually who were told by a Handler “She will not be stopping!”, upon arriving at an appearance at CITY‘s Breakfast Television. Carter then clarified to Fans, “They’re being mean. I will stop for Photos on the way out to the van”. She even asked a Producer to gather memorabilia, which she signed inside. Beyond nice.
Despite getting a moment to take a Selfie with the stunning Star, for some odd reason mine didn’t turn out, although I am happy for others who were gushing at their Autographs and Photos with her, some which I helped other Fans take.
Can we appreciate how great #LyndaCarter looks? Life Goals. #WonderWoman A photo posted by Will Wong (@mrwillwong) on
You can still get tickets for her Show tomorrow night. Details here.

In a cutthroat Entertainment industry, Shad Moss can be considered a true Survivor. The 28-year-old Actor/Television Host and Rapper first surfaced back in 2000 at age 13 as Lil Bow Wow, gaining a large Fanbase, collaborating with the likes of Da Brat, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg. Moss then branched into acting, starring in Features like Like Mike and The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift, before hosting popular BET Staple 106 & Park.
After some well-publicized troubles, Bow Wow certainly is back, but returning to himself under his original Birthname. In town this weekend partying up a storm at Bar Code and Uniun Nightclub in support of NDI Vodka, Moss today is promoting new Series CSI: Cyber in which he stars a Brody “Baby Face” Nelson.
We spotted the self-admittedly tired Actor leaving KISS 92.5, where he appeared on The Roz & Mocha Show, sporting a WE THE NORTH Cap, in support of the The Toronto Raptors. Moss despite being rushed-in, took his time chatting and doing Selfies with Fans before leaving.

International Pop Sensation Kiesza is currently in-town promoting her long-awaited major label Debut, Sound of a Woman. Originally from Calgary, the Dancer/Singer/Songwriter/Model at once joined the Royal Canadian Navy Reserves. Since exploding onto the Pop Music Scene with breakout hit Hideaway, the 25-year-old isn’t turning back and has established herself a huge European following, hitting number one in the U.K. with that Track. The Single was a Top Five Hit here in Canada also.
Kiesza is on a two-day Canadian Press Tour which sees her making a slew of Radio and TV appearances. In addition to taping interviews for Global‘s The Morning Show and CTV‘s The Social, Kiesza hit-up the Top 40 Radio Circuit today including a visit to The Roz & Mocha Show at the break of dawn. Rocking her signature up-do and channeling some serious vintage ’90s Versace, Kiesza stopped for photos and autographs with Fans. Despite her Handler insisting on one Photo only with Billy and me , she still made time for everybody!
Kiesza last visited Toronto this June for the MuchMusic Video Awards and pretty much had Music Bloggers in a frenzy with her phenomenal dancing and powerful Soprano. Even Perez Hilton was singing the praises of this Canadian Songstress.
After slowing things down on second Single Giant in my Heart, she takes us back to the ’90s with a modern Electronic sensibility on fantastic new Single, No Enemiesz!

We know her as Paige Matthews from popular series Charmed and Robert Rodriguez’s Planet Terror in which she played amputated stripper, Pam, but Rose McGowan is a Woman of many talents. The Actress/Director and Humanitarian is in Toronto to raise awareness for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), a rare Lung Disease in which her Father was diagnosed.
McGowan had a busy Press Day today which included visits to KISS 92.5 on The Roz & Mocha Show, Global’s The Morning Show and CITY‘s Breakfast Television.
Many don’t know that McGowan actually is a talented Director. Just earlier this year her first-time directing saw her get nominated for an Audience Award for her Short Film Dawn. See a Clip of it here.
We had the pleasure of meeting McGowan at the KISS 92.5 Studios and she was lovely as imagined sporting an awesome Pixie Cut. We had the opportunity to see her up-close back in 2008 when she came to TIFF to promote Crime-Thriller Fifty Dead Men Walking. She also was here in 2012 for Fan Expo!

In just over a year, Netflix Original Series ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK quickly has taken over the World by storm. The ever-popular craze of Bingewatching not only has Fans under house arrest, but quickly it is making Stars out of up-and-coming Actors equally.
Transgender Actress Laverne Cox plays Sophia Burset on the Series, perhaps my favourite of many likeable Characters in the Cast. Just appearing on the cover of TIME Magazine earlier this month – with the distinction of being the first-ever Transgender person to do so – she is in town to appear tonight at an In Conversation With at TIFF Bell Lightbox as part of the World Pride Festivities taking over the City this week. More here.
In addition to acting and looking fabulous always, Cox writes occasionally for The Huffington Post and is an ardent Advocate of Transgender Rights.
Cox graced the Morning Show circuit this morning, appearing bright and early at KISS 92.5‘s The Roz & Mocha Show where Fans were moved to tears by her inspiring words. Shortly after, she made her way to Global Television’s The Morning Show (National Edition). Fans were left disappointed though as Cox opted for Loading Docks and Underground Garages. We were lucky enough to catch-up with an on-the-go Cox who made an exception for one Fan Photo. We are on cloud nine that Billy and I got to meet her.
Netflix streams both Season One and Two of ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, available now!
