While there have been some mixed reviews for Justin Timberlake‘s new material from upcoming fifth Disc MAN OF THE WOODS, this certainly is promising. Have you checked-out the Art Perez-directed one-take Video for SAY SOMETHING ft. Chris Stapleton, who just took home three GRAMMYs this past weekend? We’re getting Rehab (which he wrote for Rihanna) vibes but this is a step in the right direction for Timberlake.

That was hands-down the best Super Bowl Halftime Show of all time. Looking at you too Beyoncé! Lady Gaga proves all the accolades and then some with a daring, spirited and umm flawless 13-minute medley of hits. Other than that there were expectations of a major political statement, she kept it all on business.
Exact Setlist:
God Bless America
This Land is Your Land
Poker Face
Born this Way
Telephone
Just Dance
Million Reasons
Bad Romance

…and yes, she ended with a mic drop and a football catch at the end. A football! *hut*

Let’s face it! Not all of us are Football experts, but every year the Super Bowl rolls around, there’s plenty for us to look at and be excited. We for one are thrilled about Lady Gaga‘s Pepsi Halftime Show which we’re predicting her to make a real statement! While the funny commercials usually are a given with the likes of KIA stepping it up and then some with Funnywoman Melissa McCarthy in a big-budget starring role, others like AUDI and BUDWEISER went a more political route with a pro-equal pay and immigrant message in their spots, making good use of their position and voice.
Check out some of our favourite TV Spots from this year’s SuperBowl:
Everything they told her was a lie.
Check out this first look at the new Trailer for GHOST IN THE SHELL, to premiere in the Big Game this Sunday!

While we admit we know little about Football, we still love to partake in the festivity and we were thrilled to see not only a National Anthem for the records by Lady Gaga before a mesmerized Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, we also witness headliner Coldplay, and Bruno Mars rock the crowd in dazzling technicolour Halftime Show!
It was even announced the Beyoncé, in addition to dropping a new Track yesterday in FORMATION, will be going on a Summer Stadium Tour!

SUPER BOWL 50 is set to take the world stage Sunday night and here to get us all excited for the Big Day are these brand new Commercials to get us into the spirit! Packed with celebrity, corporations went all-out securing that starpower as they should for the biggest day in Sports… err to Football fans!
As you know, I know and continue to know v. little about Football. Let me make my annual prediction, which usually is right! I always judge victory based on the players’ outfits… and this year I love the Carolina Panthers!! Sorry, Denver Broncos! You can never go wrong with Turquoise. BYE!

If you aren’t watching for the Football, then lets watch for the amazing Commercials! Although we arent Experts on the Sports by any measure, we can say that this by far was the most thrilling Super Bowl Game we’ve seen in quite some time, the New England Patriots squeaking out a victory over returning Champs, the Seattle Seahawks. Thrilling!
Here are some of our fave TV Spots from Super Bowl 48. Lets re-live the magic:
TED 2
What a surprise it was seeing Tom Brady join-in on the fun with Mark Wahlberg and the lovable foul-mouthed Teddy Bear himself! Yes, you just heard the words “Hand Job” on Primetime!
CLASH OF CLANS
Liam Neeson (or Lai-yam Neeson) slays it here in serious mode, taking competitive gaming to a new level…
TOMORROWLAND
I had the pleasure of seeing a Snippet of TOMORROWLAND before Christmas, starring George Clooney. My heart raced. So happy everyone got to witness a taste of what to expect of it tonight during the Super Bowl. This is going to be huge!
SNICKERS
I love the clever editing in this Snickers TV Spot, spoofing Temper Tantrums from Marsha Brady in the body of Machete (Danny Trejo). The surprise turn from Boardwalk Empire’s Steve Buscemi… brilliant!
COCA COLA
Coke goes straight for our hearts with this uplifting and modern look at how the internationally-adored Beverage continues to bring smiles to the faces of the under-caffeinated around the World.
COCA COLA – MICHAEL SAM
Openly-gay NFL Free Agent Michael Sam courageously steps-out and becomes a national inspiration, sharing his experience on Social Media after coming-out.
DOVE MEN+CARE
Yet again, another Tearjerker. Smiling Children calling-out for their Dads. What’s not to love?
MCDONALD’S
Between February 2-14, 2015 you will be able to pay for some of your McDonald’s purchases with love apparently?
MICROSOFT
Meet Child Amputee Braylon in this touching TV Spot showing how Microsoft technology enabled and empowered him to be able to enjoy an active life as a future Athlete. Take that, Apple!
And still my Fave. Budweiser’s amazing #BESTBUDS TV Spot. So good, it deserves its own Post here.
Miss Katy Perry‘s incredible HALFTIME SHOW Performance? Watch it here!

There absolutely is no doubt about Katy Perry’s Pop Domination right now and tonight‘s Halftime Performance at Super Bowl 49 in Phoenix solidified what we’ve known from the start – she is an Icon! The faster you recognize this, the easier your life will be.
Joined by her Idols Lenny Kravitz on the Track I Kissed a Girl and also by Missy Elliott on Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) Remix, the Crowd went absolutely berserk. Perry‘s entrance on a metallic tiger performing ROAR was a sight to be seen – a taste of the energy she brings to her live Shows. Perry capped it all off literally on an explosive note with – you guessed it – fireworks on her hit Single, FIREWORK!

BUDWEISER DOES IT AGAIN! With the Super Bowl coming this weekend, we know one thing is for sure every year – Budweiser will unleash an emotional fury that will have us weeping allover our Keyboards. This latest Super Bowl TV Spot features their trademark Clydesdale horses, but focuses on an adorable little Labrador who gets lost and goes on an adventure, when ultimately he encounters a scary wolf in the woods. You simply won’t believe what happens next… The pairing of a softened version of 500 Miles covered by Sleeping At Last... OMG. I can’t continue typing… I am a mess. And you will be too!
Watch it for yourself:
We absolutely can’t wait to see Katy Perry‘s Halftime Performance! Here’s a Teaser:
We were asked recently by Woodbine Entertainment along with fellow members of the Horse Racing World what our Picks. More on that here.

Although there certainly wasn’t much of a Match at tonight’s NFL Super Bowl XLVIII with the Underdog Seattle Seahawks demolishing the Denver Broncos, the Halftime Show and Commercials certainly is where the Spectacle was at. There were fireworks, horns, dancing, flames, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and lots of screaming! Bruno Mars sure knows how to deliver a bang-on Show and those of you who’ve never been to one of his Live Shows, don’t know what you’re missing. He sounds just as great on record as he does in-person and possesses an electric energy about him.
100 million+ tuned-in tonight to see the Hawaii-born Singer/Songwriter, who appeared on-stage aggressively banging on a Drum Kit, as he and his Band zipped through an array of Hits including: Grenade, Locked Out of Heaven, Treasure, Just the Way You Are. Mid-way, they were joined by The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Frontman Anthony Kiedis, performing their Smash, Give it Away Now.
