It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Katy Perry, and timed with her new Las Vegas residency PLAY, is this new single, a collabo with Alesso which has us ready to hit the dance floor! That is virtually. Don’t want to be at a club right now for sure! Check-out this Video directed by Hannah Lux Davis! The Track is definitely one of Perry‘s best in recent years.

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Katy and she’s just released her new Track HARLEYS IN HAWAII, produced in part by Charlie Puth. The Video has Teenage Dream aesthetic, but the Track has a bit more of a mellow, chill-out vibe.
Check-out the Track here!

We are in love with this new jam by Taylor Swift and in typical epic fashion, she unleashes another sensory splash in her new Music Video for YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN, the second single off her upcoming Disc, LOVER out this August!
And you’ll never believe this but Katy Perry even makes a cameo, the two stars burying the hatchet in their feud. Swift comments in her lyrics:
And we see you over there on the internet/Comparing all the girls who are killing it/But we figured you out/We all know now we all got crowns
Okay apparently we’re to blame okay, Internet?
Several others appear including Hayley Kiyoko, members of the Cast or QUEER EYE, Billy Porter, Ellen DeGeneres, Ryan Reynolds, Laverne Cox and more! This was an LGBTQ Pride month celebration in the closet, up till now!
Universal Music Canada release LOVER Friday, August 23, 2019.

Doing Canada proud is Toronto’s own Drake who took home multiple awards including Best Rap/ Sung Performance and Best Rap Song with Hotline Bling.
An expectant Beyoncé wins Best Music Video for Formation and Best Urban Contemporary Album with Lemonade which even the evening’s big winner Adele felt deserved to win Album of the Year, breaking her Grammy in half for 25 to share with Beyoncé.

Post-humously, David Bowie was awarded with multiple wins for his final disc, Blackstar including Best Alternative Music Album, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song (Blackstar).

We love us some Katy Perry and just when thought we couldn’t handle the tease anymore, she unleashes CHAINED TO THE RHYTHM today finally!
While she will debut the track at the GRAMMYS, Perry treats us to this adorable Lyric Video starring Mr. Parsons the Hamster. The early 80s-Synth Pop tune with a bit of Reggae is set to have the world under arrest.

We love that Katy is back! Although she was in the news much this week and not for her Music, an actual single surfaces. Rise, produced by Max Martin, will be the official song of the Olympics for NBC and it got itself a surprise release last night. It is a bit reminiscent of her Wide Awake.
Watch below:
You can download Rise on iTunes now.

Just say the words “KATY PERRY” and we’re there. H&M has just released some new images from the top-earning Megastar’s holiday campaign. A full-length commercial is set to surface Monday, November 23, 2015 here.
The campaign, shot by famed photographer/director Jonas Åkerlund showcases Perry being adorable as usual and from what we can see that Elfie Selfie sweatshirt looks to be a hot-seller, as well as that red ribbon T-shirt. We really love that festive Ski Chalet sweater Perry‘s sporting also.
For every specially-designed Gift Card you purchase at H&M this holiday season, 5% of proceeds will go to UNICEF in aid of the children of Myanmar.
H&M‘s Holiday Collection hits stores mid-November.

We saw and were floored by Taylor Swift‘s BAD BLOOD Video, but Madonna never has been one to be outshone. She’s back and wants you to know, BITCH, SHE’S MADONNA! After a Premiere on Tidal, the Video is available now to all.
Beyoncé! Miley Cyrus! Katy Perry! Rita Ora! Nicki Minaj! Madonna pulls-out all the stops and the Big Girls to do battle on her new Music Video for BITCH I’M MADONNA (ft. Nicki Minaj)... and we LOVE IT. Sure it’s no match for Bad Blood, but it’s still Madge.

But where’s Gaga?

Stars of the Film, Fashion and Music Worlds gathered Monday night at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, for Fashion’s biggest night, the Costume Institute Ball – known more as the Met Ball or Met Gala – for a 44th year. As in previous years, the night was nothing short of spectacular and this year’s theme was China: Through the Looking Glass, which explores the Country’s influence on Fashion as we know it today. An Exhibition put-on in conjunction with the Museum’s Department of Asian Art, commences now through August, with the Gala kicking it all off.
The ultra-exclusive Affair is invite-only and if you are fortunate enough to be granted the opportunity to purchase a ticket even, acceptance is pending the approval of the most revered and feared Woman in the Industry, Anna Wintour.
Just so there was no confusion in the hierarchy, the dazzling A-List of predominantly female Talent would see its biggest stars Jay-Z and Beyoncé (in a revealing sheer Givenchy) arrive approximately three hours late, drawing a crowd of cheers from onlookers who lined street for a long glance at beauty and innovation when finally they did arrive.
Although a list of Guests was published prior, with Jennifer Lawrence named Event Chair this year, few know fully who exactly will arrive until they walk the many steps of the Red Carpet. Some Starlets stayed within their comfort zone wearing with an array of pretty form-fitting gowns. Others took major fashion risks, staying true to the Night’s established theme including Trailblazer Sarah Jessica Parker who had donned a Chinese Opera-like Headpiece over an H&M Dress, a strong contingent of Chinese Actresses including Gong Li, Ziyi Zhang, Carina Lau, Li Bing Bing, Gao Yuan Yuan, Tang Wei and more donned intricate creations with floral themed patterns. Dolce & Gabbana was most daring and our personal favourite, dressing a handful of Starlets like Karen Elson, Brie Larson and more in decadent golds with dazzling Tiaras fit for a Queen. Red-hot Moschino now underseen by Jeremy Scott, saw the likes of Madonna and Katy Perry garbed head-to-toe in his vision, the latter who turned heads with a cropped Pixie Cut which turned to blonde at the Afterparty which she had co-hosted. Not quite thematically correct, but still a visual Feast.
Others getting high praise for their looks were friends Anne Hathaway in a hooded gold Ralph Lauren numbers, Lady Gaga in a Zac Posen Pantsuit, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in rose-coloured Versace and Sophie Turner in teal Burberry Dress. And speaking of teal, Miley Cyrus would dazzle in a high-neck Alexander Wang dress, with her hair slicked-back and coloured as such. We also are a huge Fan of Kate Hudson‘s gold Michael Kors number.
Social Media was lit afire when Perry, Madonna and perceived Pop Rival Lady Gaga posed for Selfies together at the Ball’s official Afterparty in the City’s Meatpacking District. Both Lady Gaga and Rihanna also themselves would throw their own bashes, which would see the likes of Naomi Campbell, Robert Pattinson and his girlfriend FKA Twigs returning to their star-crammed Hotel in the wee hours at the break of dawn.
