THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES 2 arrives on Netflix Friday, November 25, 2020.
Known best for his work as Winston Bishop on New Girl, Lamorne Morris currently is in Toronto doing work on upcoming Netflix Holiday Film titled potentially, The Christmas Chronicles (formerly 12/24). The Film starring Kurt Russell and Judah Lewis, centers on two brothers who try to record Santa Claus to prove he os real, and wraps end of the month.
Morris also was seen this year in critically acclaimed Comedy, Game Night alongside JasonBateman and Rachel McAdams.
We spotted Morris on his way in to the City and he was a great sport about stopping for a Snap!
If you enjoyed Netflix’s The Babysitter, you’ll have a second chance to see 15-year-old breakout star Judah Lewis in their upcoming Holiday Film, potentially-named Christmas Chronicles. The Film sees a pair of brothers planning to capture video of SantaClaus on Christmas Eve to prove he is real.
Starring alongside Kimberly Williams-Paisley (Nashville), Darby Camp (Big Little Lies) and screen legend Kurt Russell who has been seen on-set sporting a disheveled Santa look, Lewis was spotted in the Beaches filming with his Co-Stars earlier. The Film’s Santa sleigh decked-out in leather seats with a reindeer bonnet emblem was the talk of the neighbourhood!
Produced by Christopher Columbus (HomeAlone) and directed by Clay Katis (The Angry Birds Movie), the Film originally was titled 12/24 and it wraps end of March. It is set to stream on Netflix in time for the Holidays in 2018.
We’re past the halfway point at TIFF ’16 and things begin to slow down to another gear after today. Premieres around the City tonight include DEEPWATER HORIZON which sees Mark Wahlberg, Kate Hudson and Kurt Russell walk the Red Carpet at Roy Thomson Hall. Meanwhile, MANCHESTER BY THE SEA which continues to gain Oscar momentum, brings CaseyAffleck and Michelle Williams to the Carpet at Princess of Wales Theatre. Megastar Justin Timberlake also presents Documentary JT AND THE TENNESSEE KIDS at Roy Thomson Hall also.
Everyone loves a good Heist Flick! And one that was filmed here in Toronto? Double bonus! Originally titled, The Black Marks, The Art of the Steal will see its Premiere at TIFF ’13 in the latter part of the Festival and we’re super stoked about it! We went all the way to Hamilton and got to meet some of the Cast Members early 2012. Read about our day in the snow here. Ever since then, we’ve been obsessively checking for updates. Now finally comes a super-slick looking Trailer for the Jonathan Sobol Film!
In this Con Movie about honor, revenge and the bonds of brotherhood, Crunch Calhoun (Kurt Russell), a third rate Motorcycle Daredevil and semi-reformed Art Thief, agrees to get back into the con game and pull off one final lucrative art theft with his untrustworthy brother, Nicky (Matt Dillon).
Jay Baruchel, Terence Stamp, Katheryn Winnick and Chris Diamantopoulous also star.

A big congrats goes to the lovely Julie Benz (Desperate Housewives, Dexter) and Team Osisko who placed first the Toronto Rally for Kids with Cancer aboard an Aston Martin, in support of SickKids! Taking place between Friday and Saturday, the Scavenger Cup gave Participants with a passion for Celebrities and Exotic Cars, a chance to draft a Celebrity Navigator. The higher the funds raised, the higher their Draft Pick will be for a Celebrity.
Celebrities this year at the Rally included the Stars of SyFy Network Series Defiance: Julie Benz, Jaime Murray, Mia Kirshner and Tony Curran, plus Romany Malco, Billy Baldwin, Anne Heche, James Tupper and the amazing Kurt Russell, who was here last Winter filming The Black Marks.
