QUOTES FROM OBSESSED FEST PANELS
Antonio Cipriano, Off Campus
“This show touches on so many different topics that are very personal to a lot of people and people see themselves in the characters, and it’s so cool to be a part of something like that…It’s an important show, it’s an honor to be a part of”
Benito Skinner, Overcompensating
“Today is a day where we can just obsess without judgement. Doesn’t it feel good? We don’t have to be embarrassed that a fan edit of Garrett Graham made us feel human in a way no physical touch has in years.”
Owen Thiele, Overcompensating
“Benny’s brain works in a way that should be studied. There’s a lot of pining. Pining while nude, of course.”
Tom Bateman, The Love Hypothesis
“I fell in love with this story. I love it so much and am really proud of what everyone did. I just want everyone to walk away with it with the love I did.”
Lili Reinhart, The Love Hypothesis
“I just really fell in love with Olive and Adam as I read the script and as I read the book. I thought they were so charming. It’s not exactly an enemies to lovers trope because they’re never quite enemies, they’re just extremely opposite and that was obviously fun to play.”
Lana Condor, The Devil’s Mouth
“I really wanted to do something that challenged me and pushed me out of my comfort zone to see if I was strong enough to do it. I didn’t know if I was able to pull it off. I wanted to be challenged. It was the opposite of a vacation. I was terrified for my life all day long.”
Gavin Casalegno, The Devil’s Mouth
“The sets we got to film at the caves, the beaches, everything was so beautiful. It’s probably going to look like a green screen, but there was no green screen. It was naturally gorgeous.”
Mercedes Ron, Author Culpables,Your Fault: London, Drawn Together
“I’m in all of them, I love a camera! I’m kidding. It’s so stressful for me. I get so excited too when I know a writer and they’re in the movie!
Anna Todd, Author and Executive Producer, The Last Sunrise
“It helps that I’m the target audience. With The Last Sunrise there are some changes, but as a team we were at the forefront of the changes. I would highly suggest authors to be involved or not for me there’s no middle ground. You can’t be so precious about every line. I also need to make sure the film is really good for people who are not readers.”
Lexi Minetree, Elle
“I had been practicing a lot of self tapes and I learned that some risks really pay off. So I thought I had to recreate her Harvard admissions video. I spent a lot of time working on the voice and walk in particular because she’s so specific.”
Matt Cornett, Ever Year After
“When I read the book after I got the show, it was weird to read this book and envision myself as this guy in this world. But I read the book and cried many times. If you know me I don’t cry.”
Damian Hardung, Maxton Hall
“There’s these phases of our life that we always look back on with fondness to it. I think it’s nice to accumulate those throughout life, and I’m very happy to have added another one with Maxton Hall.”
