Not much new in the Top Five this weekend, but it’s a huge second weekend for THE ODYSSEY which takes $84.5 million for Universal Pictures, bringing it to $200 million already.
Second goes to Disney’s MOANA with $10 million, crossing the $100 million mark.
Third is Disney and Pixar‘s TOY STORY 5 with $9.4 million, a run of $447 million to date domestically in its sixth frame.
MINIONS & MONSTERS is fourth with $9 million, a run of $154 million for Universal Pictures.
Rounding things out is stage-to-screen production HADESTOWN with $7.5 million from 1,949 theatres for Mongrel Media/Bleecker Street, the only new entry in the Top Five. It gets a perfect 100% on the Tomatometer.
