HAPPY FACE offers a fresh perspective on a story that has been well-publicized, looking at “Happy Face Killer” Keith Hunter Jesperson through the lens of her daughter, Melissa Moore. Moore serves as a Producer on the Limited Series and is portrayed by Tony Award-winning Actress Annaleigh Ashford. Dennis Quaid also stars as Jesperson, and Toronto’s Khiyla Aynne plays Melissa‘s daughter Hazel.
Ashford and Aynne graced us with their presence at a special reception for the Series, held at luxurious Shangri-La Hotel, doing a Q&A with radio and podcast personality Jax Irwin, before the intimate audience. The duo embraced on the Red Carpet, also posing for photo ops with some of the activations set-up for the affair. Also spotted quiently in attendance was Aynne’s dear friend and The Baby-Sitters Club Co-Star Momona Tamada, who also is seen in HAPPY FACE as Eva.
The on-screen mother and daughter spoke about their bonding experience during filming, taking selfies together the first day they met. One thing is that they were very cognizant of the Series paying respect to the victims of these crimes, and this was one thing they took away from their experiencing filming this Series and also making them rethink how we consume True Crime.

Brilliant Comedian Matteo Lane brought his CAN’T STOP TALKING Tour to Toronto for not one, but two nights at Meridian Hall, selling out twice. Lane did an hour-long set filled with laughs, joking candidly about everything from a dalliance with a adult performer, to the time he was treated for an STD in Toronto while on tour with Aziz Ansari, his Sex Education teacher in grade 7, and recalling the start of his career when he felt like he had to come “out of the closet” every night.
The LGBT icon is a proud New Yorker, preferring to remain home during the week and tour on weekends, with plans to play Europe in the near future.
We are a huge fan of Lane, having come across his Comedy during the pandemic and we’ve been hooked ever since! We haven’t laughed this hard in forever and needed it!
Lane was so lovely to stop for a quick photo, confused if I was asking for a photo or a video!
More on Lane‘s upcoming Cookbook YOUR PASTA SUCKS and additional tour dates here.

The announcement was made moments ago by CEO Bob Iger during The Walt Disney Company’s annual meeting of shareholders. “While the film is just in the initial stages, we know it will be full of humour, heart and adventure,” said Iger. “And we can’t wait to share more soon.”
“Coco 2” reunites the team behind the original film, including Oscar®-winning director Lee Unkrich (“Coco,” “Toy Story 3”) and co-director Adrian Molina (“Coco”). Oscar-winning producer Mark Nielsen (“Toy Story 4,” “Inside Out 2”) will produce.

Part fast-moving heart-in-the-mouth action-adventure and part twisty-turny whodunnit detective story, Nighsleeper’s storyline is set across a single night when a sleeper train travelling from Glasgow to London is hackjacked sending the train hurtling towards death and destruction.
Leading the fight are Joe Roag (Cole), an off-duty police officer who is a passenger on the train, and Abby Aysgarth (Alexandra Roach), the acting technical director at the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). To stop the train, they’ll have to work out exactly who’s behind this. But are they fighting a hostile state, a terrorist organization, or organized crime?
