It’s HOPPERS on-top again a second week at the Box Office, taking $30 million, bringing the Disney and Pixar release to $88.3 million over two weekends.

REMINDERS OF HIM debuts in second with $18 million from 3,402 theatres for Universal Pictures, getting a 58% on the Tomatometer.

Third is undertone with $8.5 million from 2,570 theatres across North America for VVS Films/A24. It gets 76% on the Tomatometer.

Fourth goes to SCREAM 7 with $7.5 million from 3,243 theatres. This takes it to $105.6 million for Paramount Pictures.

Rounding the Top Five is GOAT with $5 million, taking it to $90.8 million for Sony Pictures.

Paramount+ today announced that production has commenced in Pittsburgh, PA, on the fifth and final season of the hit drama series MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN, starring Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Edie Falco.

David Morse (We Were Liars) will join season five as a series regular playing Russell Hardy, a seasoned FBI agent sent to Kingstown.

This season, in the wake of Tracy’s murder and the vengeance visited upon Callahan by Mike (Renner) and Kyle (Taylor Handley), FBI agent Russell Hardy (Morse) arrives in Kingstown searching for the “fugitive” Callahan. A true lawman, Agent Hardy threatens to unearth all of Mike’s sins and secrets, and disrupt Kingstown’s tenuous balance of power.

In addition to Renner, Falco and Morse, the eight-episode final season stars Tony® Award® winner Laura Benanti, Canadian Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Tobi Bamtefa, and Derek Webster. Necar Zadegan, Nichole Galicia, and Lennie James will also return.

March 12, 2026 (Toronto, ON) – Canadian distributor Game Theory Films has picked up Canadian rights to Jenna MacMillan’s directorial debut, THE SNAKE ahead of its World Premiere at SXSW in March 2026. THE SNAKE is part of the Narrative Feature Program where it is eligible for the Narrative Feature Competition, and also marks the first-ever Prince Edward Island-made film to premiere at SXSW.

Written by and starring Susan Kent, and directed by award-winning producer Jenna MacMillan, the film unites the duo from Who’sYer Father? which set box office records in the Maritimes.

THE SNAKE is an off-beat dark-comedy that follows an ungovernable 40 year-old woman Jamie (Kent) and her descent as her life blows up around her. The film carves out space for rarely-seen women who, despite all odds, can’t get their shit together. THE SNAKE is about Jamie, a 40-something wild child who collides with her venomous mother Anne (Robin Duke). Following an eviction and newly single, Jamie’s life blows up spectacularly.

Marking the unluckiest of days, this Friday the 13th Netflix debuted the Official Trailer for Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen

ICYMI — On Monday March 9th, The Paris Theater NYC announced their upcoming film series, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen: A Walk Down the Aisle with Haley Z. Boston, a selection of films specially curated by the show’s creator. The films in this program represent some of the foundational inspirations for Haley Z. Boston’s seriously scary vision of potentially making a lifelong commitment to the wrong person.

The film series will run at both the Paris Theater in NYC and the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles this month.

Disney+ continues to expand its “Bluey” offerings with new content arriving this month and later this summer. Announced today, “Bluey’s Big Play – The Stage Show,” a special televised version of the popular touring theatrical production, premieres March 16. Additionally, a collection of “Bluey Minisodes,” previously only available online and in Australia, will also be available for the first time on Disney+ beginning May 20. It was also announced today that a previously released collection of 10 “Bluey Minisodes” will be available for the first time on Disney+.
