New this year is a category for Podcast, and most notably. WICKED: FOR GOOD failed to garner a nomination for Best Comedy or Musical.

Season Five of the multi-Emmy Award-winning The Boys will premiere on April 8, 2026, with two episodes, followed by a new episode each week, culminating in the unforgettable, epic series finale on May 20, 2026. In the fifth and final season, it’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims. Paramount+ unveiled a new exclusive scene from its original series STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY during the Paramount+ presentation at CCXP in São Paolo, Brazil, one of the largest fan conventions in the world. The series will premiere globally with 2 episodes on Thursday, January 15 on Paramount+, and in Japan on Tuesday, January 23, 2026.

Series guest star Paul Giamatti, who plays the Klingon and Tellarite “Nus Braka,” was on site to reveal the exclusive scene on stage at CCXP. FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 2 continues its big success for its franchise, opening with $56.5 million from 3,412 theaters for Universal Pictures. This is another smash hit for the studio which still is riding high with WICKED: FOR GOOD last month. This installment gets 13% on the Tomatometer. By contrast, its predecessor bowed with $80 million back in 2023.

ZOOTOPIA 2 slips to second this weekend, with $45 million from 4,000 theatres. It has grossed $222.4 over two weekends for Disney.

WICKED: FOR GOOD is in third with $15.6 million, a three week total of $295.8 million domestically.
