Paramount+ announced today that the legendary JERSEY SHORE original cast member Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi will bring her small stature and big personality to the Shore house, making several powerhouse guest appearances during the first season of CANADA SHORE, premiering January 22, 2026 on Paramount+ in all markets globally. Bringing her signature sparkle to the CANADA SHORE crib, she parties, hands out job duties and shares her ‘Shore’ expertise with the new cast across several episodes.

Fans can now relive all the ‘Shore’ vibes on Pluto TV’s MTV Jersey Shore Channel. The channel makes every day feel like “Jersday” and is packed with classic moments and Shore chaos to get viewers hyped for the Canadian edition. The first episode of CANADA SHORE will also be available for free sampling on Pluto TV beginning January 22.

CANADA SHORE is the first-ever Canadian edition of the global MTV “Shore” phenomenon. The 83rd Golden.Globe Awards took place last night in Beverly Hills, California and leading the way were Paul Thomas Anderson’s ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER in the Film categories, and ADOLESCENCE in the TV categories. AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH remains atop the Box Office again this weekend with $24 million from 3,700 theatres for 20th Century Studios. Domestically, this takes it to $345.2 million over four weekends.

THE HOUSEMAID still continues to go strong in second with $14 million from 3,123 theatres for Cineplex Pictures/Lionsgate, a total $94.6 million grossed over four weekends.

PRIMATE debuts in third with $10.5 million from 2,964 theatres for Paramount Pictures, getting 77% on the Tomatometer.

GREENLAND 2: MIGRATION debuts in fourth with $10 million, getting 55% on the Tomatometer. Its 2020 predecessor was impacted by the Pandemic in its release pattern, so this is a bit of justice for it.

ZOOTOPIA 2 rounds things out taking $9.7 million for Disney, a tally of $378.7 million grossed in North America over seven weekends.

Set against the sun-bleached grit of Los Angeles, Crime 101 weaves the tale of an elusive jewel thief (Chris Hemsworth) whose string of heists along the 101 freeway have mystified police. When he eyes the score of a lifetime, his path crosses that of a disillusioned insurance broker (Halle Berry) who is facing her own crossroads. Convinced he has found a pattern, a relentless detective (Mark Ruffalo) is closing in, raising the stakes even higher. As the heist approaches, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur, and all three are faced with life-defining choices–and the realization that there can be no turning back.

Georgian College Skills Competition & Marine Technical Training Centre: Canada’s core recreational boating industry employs approximately 45,000 Canadians, but there’s a growing labour shortage and need for more skilled marine engineers and technicians. The Marine Technical Training Centre at the Toronto Boat Show is an educational hub to learn about the many opportunities and pathways to a career in the marine industry; and invites visitors to “Try the Trade” with activities to learn about engine components. Current students enrolled in the marine training courses at Georgian College will take part in the annual Skills Competition on January 17 & 18 to showcase their technical knowledge by completing a series of hands-on challenges and tests.
