It isn’t quite the strong Followup we wanted to international Smash Hit All About That Bass (and believe me, that is a tough assignment!), but Meghan Trainor does good with her latest Single Lips Are Movin, in that same Doo-Wop/Pop vein.  The colourful Video for the Track, directed by Choreographer Fatima Robinson, was just released earlier today and sees the adorable Songstress cutesy-ing it up as she scorns that dishonest soon-to-be Ex-Lover!  We actually were hoping for something a bit more down-tempo as we are mesmerized by Trainor‘s Cover of Sam Smith‘s Stay With Me!

Something funky fresh for your Friday!  It’s been ages since we’ve heard from Mark Ronson.  We loved his star-studded 2007 Covers Disc Version and for a minute forgot how amazing he was. You can imagine how devastated we were to learn too late that he was in-town during TIFF ’14!

Ronson teams with brilliant Bruno Mars on this delicious, funky throwback.  Watching this Video for new Single and Collabo UPTOWN FUNK, literally transports you in time to the late ’70s – not an easy to replicate with authenticity!

I did miss them when they were gone. I really did! The hot new Trailer for PITCH PERFECT 2 is about to “break the Internet” – well at least my Internet connection anyway! The Ellen Show got an exclusive First Look earlier today! I must admit I couldn’t stop laughing at the some of the One-Liners, especially from Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson). Although there isn’t much a clue as to what new Music we’ll be hearing in this Sequel, one thing’s for sure – the laughs are back. Between The Hunger Games, directing this and being a Horse Racing Ambassador, we don’t know where Elizabeth Banks finds all the time and energy!

Official Synopsis:
The Barden Bellas are back and this time around, the film focuses on Beca (Anna Kendrick) and Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) as they navigate through their senior year. Emily Junk (Hailee Steinfeld), who’s a legacy thanks to her mother, joins the team. The team decides to enter the World Championships even though no team from the United States has ever won, due to the global bias against Americans. With graduation looming, the girls navigate the demands of their friendship, the Barden Bellas and the competition.

Trust me, the slipper totally fits! Disney has just “broken the Internet” with something we actually want to see! After first hearing about the upcoming Live-Action version of CINDERELLA by Kenneth Branagh, we have been itching to see it. Earlier today the first Trailer and Poster for the beloved Tale were released and believe me, your jaws will drop!

The story of “Cinderella” follows the fortunes of young Ella (Lily James) whose merchant father remarries following the death of her mother. Eager to support her loving father, Ella welcomes her new stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and her daughters Anastasia (Holliday Grainger) and Drisella (Sophie McShera) into the family home. But, when Ella’s father unexpectedly passes away, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family. Finally relegated to nothing more than a servant girl covered in ashes, and spitefully renamed Cinderella, Ella could easily begin to lose hope. Yet, despite the cruelty inflicted upon her, Ella is determined to honour her mother’s dying words and to “have courage and be kind.” She will not give in to despair nor despise those who mistreat her. And then there is the dashing stranger she meets in the woods. Unaware that he is really a prince, not merely an apprentice at the Palace, Ella finally feels she has met a kindred soul. It appears her fortunes may be about to change when the Palace sends out an open invitation for all maidens to attend a ball, raising Ella’s hopes of once again encountering the charming Kit (Richard Madden). Alas, her stepmother forbids her to attend and callously rips apart her dress. Don’t be fooled by the flamboyant, ridiculous Music Video – Rollin Wang is a rather talented Girl!  The impossibly-young looking 35-year-old Singer/Songwriter from China has been making huge waves with her spectacle Chick Chick Music Video, which has the Internet a-buzzin’. The Track has her animal-sounding her way through ’90s-Techno nonsensically, but believe me, Wang is having the last laugh. Under the cutesy schtick, she actually arranges her own Music – a bona fide Musician – and a Woman in full control of her image and direction.

He gets caught up in her life to the point that he’s involved in trying to free her kidnapped daughter from an Italian gangster. When he’s asked to help put up money for her ransom, Sean begins to wonder whether he’s being set up.

D Films release THIRD PERSON on Video-on-Demand and DVD Tuesday, December 2, 2014.

I can barely contain my excitement for this! At long last, PEANUTS gets a much-needed Revival and I’m so happy to share with you the first official Trailer for the 2015 Animated Feature directed by Steve Martino! Like many of you, I grew-up loving Charlie Brown and Snoopy, by far my favourite animated Franchise as a Kid!

For now we don’t know much about the Plot, but we are mesmerized by the Holiday theme going on in this Trailer! And we love that Charlie is still his clumsy old self!

20th Century Fox release PEANUTS in 2015!

Proving that laughter is timeless, DUMB AND DUMBER TO takes the top of the Box Office this weekend with a stellar $36.3 million from 3.154 theatres for Universal Pictures.  The follows successfully in the footsteps of its Predecessor which in 1994 also debuted at number one with $16 million.  Reviews for the Comedy reuniting Jeff Bridges and Jim Carrey have been harsh, tallying-in at 27% on the Tomatometer, but Audiences gave it a much better B- CinemaScore.

Coming in a tight second is last week’s Champ, BIG HERO 6 which brings-in $35.8 million, for a two week domestic total of $111.4 million for Disney.

INTERSTELLAR continues to perform well in third with $28.7 million made in its second week out for Paramount Pictures, edging ever so close to that $100-million mark in North America.

Musical Drama BEYOND THE LIGHTS, debuts a distant fourth for Relativity Media and eOne Films, with $6.4 million from 1,789 theatres. Starring the buzzed Gugu Mbatha-Raw, the Film gets a stellar 84% on the Tomatometer from Critics and an equally great A CinemaScore.

NIGHTCRAWLER hangs-on to the Top Ten in ninth with $2.8 million for Open Road Films/Elevation Pictures, edging closer to the $30-million mark.

The widely acclaimed BIRDMAN expands to 857 theatres, debuting in the Top Ten after five weeks in limited release with $2,4  million for Fox Searchlight.  It has grossed $11.6 million to date domestically.
