Although he was to make it into the City last week for his latest Film THE RECALL, Breaking Bad star RJ Mitte made it here at last for a different reason. The 24-year-old actor known best for his work on that AMC series as Walter White Jr., was like his character, diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. He has overcome the odds and he is here to speak about it at the 18th annual Ability and Beyond Dinner at the Royal York Hotel tonight for The March of Dimes Canada, hosted by Carolyn Mackenzie of Global Television.
After flying in to Toronto last night, Mitte did a bit of press today including Global Television’s The Morning Show about his partnership with The March of Dimes.
He was amazingly nice to stop after hopping out of his cab for a quick Snap!
More on the event here.

Right in time for her 16th birthday, Hawaiian-born singer/actress Auli’i Cravalho is in Toronto today to promote her debut Feature, Disney’s Moana. The lovely burgeoning star was handpicked by the studio after a rigorous audition process which saw her last to audition and first to be chosen out of hundreds of young Polynesian women.
Her first name pronounced “Ow-Lee-Ee“, Cravalho endured the wind and cold to make stops around the morning circuit here including CITY‘s Breakfast Television and a taping of Entertainment CITY. In addition, she appeared on CP24 Breakfast and Global‘s The Morning Show after meeting with Press all day yesterday.
We met the star herself this morning, flower adorning her hair, and full of charm. She loved Billy!

Industry numbers are projecting approximately $75 million for the title across North America, over the U.S. Thanksgiving Holiday. The Animated Feature is about a young girl (Cravalho) and her journey with Demigod Maui (recent PEOPLE Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive honouree Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) to becoming a master wayfinder. Along the way, she fulfills an ancient quest for her ancestors. A true show of confidence from the “House of the Mouse” in its product is that it has topped its competitiors in spending on TV advertising up through this past Sunday according to Variety.

If there was one Artist who dominated our airwaves this summer, it is Daya. The funny thing is, many of us still can’t put a face to the name of the 17-year-old from Pittsburgh with three consecutive smash hits already including Hide Away, Don’t Let Me Down (with The Chainsmokers) and of course, catchy current single Still Still, Look Pretty.
Check out Sit Still, Look Pretty below:
Daya made her first visit to Toronto headlining The Family Channel’s Big Ticket at Molson Amphitheatre, a commitment made likely before her star rose as quickly as it has. With her debut album coming October, she tells us, she will be embarking on her own headlining tour early 2017.
While doing very limited Press here in the City, she did make a stop-off at Global Television‘s The Morning Show (National Edition) for a quick chat before getting a little break from continuous touring.
Watch the interview:
We legitimately are a huge fan of Daya and look forward to her being a major force as she develops into a major Pop Star! On-top of it all she is so down-to-earth and week, amazingly nice to all Fans today as her entourage enjoyed seeing their star shine bright!
See our Snap:
We love to share and want to give Readers a chance to win a rare signed 8×10 (seen above) from Daya herself. You won’t want to miss this chance as mark our words, she is going to be huge!

With the Olympic Games Rio 2016 coming to an end, Team Canada made their way back to Toronto last night and up and at ’em early today to talk about their experiences were 100 Metre Women’s Freestyle gold medalist Penny Oleksiak with Michelle Williams, Brittany MacLean and Sandy Mainville. The quartet started their day walking on-foot to their Breakfast Television appearance (where they munched on Tim Hortons goodies), before heading over to The Morning Show. Although there wasn’t much time for fan interaction, Oleksiak, Williams, MacLean and Mainville stopped for some Selfies with Fans after their last interview of the morning.
Also appearing at Breakfast Television was Dancehall legend Shabba Ranks, known best for his international hit Mr. Loverman. Having appeared on the show prior, he let us know he is appearing at Sound Academy Friday night at Timeless Classics’ Mavado Meets Shabba Ranks where both icons join each other on-stage for the first time ever!
With Dancehall legend #ShabbaRanks.

Academy Award nominee Mariel Hemingway has visited our City many times in the past but her latest was to spread a bit of positivity and inspiration with kids suffering from Arthritis, leading a Yoga Class with Camp Cambria. She appeared over the past couple days at both Breakfast Television and The Morning Show, among other outlets. Super-lovely!

Tom Odell already is onto his second album but we’re just getting to know him! The 25-year-old English Singer/Songwriter gained popularity with his 2013 track Another Love and new single Magnetised. His second album Wrong Crowd, was released just last week domestically and he currently is in town promoting the Disc ahead of his upcoming tour which hits Toronto’s Mod Club this Fall.
Odell already is a huge name in the UK having been christened with the foreboding Critics’ Choice Award at the BRITs in 2013. He also was named Songwriter of the Year at the Ivor Novello Awards. The same was given to the likes of Adele, Florence and the Machine and Emeli Sandé.

Few Artists have pushed the boundaries with recognition like Peaches. The Electro Icon from Toronto has toured the world, shocking audiences with her gender-bending theatrics, challenging our perceptions about sexuality. Equally a performance artist as she is an actual musician, she is known best for her dance hit Fuck the Pain Away and was the subject of a Concert-Documentary Film at TIFF ’12, Peaches Does Herself.
In a rare move, Peaches did the morning show circuit today in advance of her Massey Hall show tonight with The Hidden Cameras, topping off at CP24 Breakfast and Global‘s The Morning Show (National Edition).
Peaches in the mainstream has appeared on several soundtracks including Lost in Translation and Mean Girls. She has also collaborated with the likes of Christina Aguilera and P!nk! Did you know she also used to share a living space with Feist?

Although it has been a couple years, supermodel and Victoria’s Secret Angel Martha Hunt returns back to the City today for an in-store appearance. Fans had the chance today at Eaton Centre shop to meet the blonde beauty who happens to be a part of Taylor Swift‘s Squad, between 5-6 PM.
Earlier in the day the North Carolina native did the rounds including stops at Global Television‘s The Morning Show (Toronto edition). Although her handlers were insistent on rushing her in, she did stop for a quick Selfie. She is gorgeous!
Hunt also took over Victoria’s Secret Snapchat also for a day.

After first surfacing in the late 90s, New York-born Electronic Music icon Moby has gone on to sell over 20 million albums en route to a litany of GRAMMY nominations. In addition to being a musical trailblazer, he has been vocal about animal rights and veganism.
Moby, born Richard Melville Hall, has had a career of longevity and now is in Toronto promoting latest memoir PORCERLAIN: A MEMOIR. After holding a book signing last night at Harbourfront Centre, Moby was out early doing the TV rounds including Breakfast Television and The Morning Show.
We caught-up with the amazingly-nice Moby following an appearance where a fan had multiple CDs and vinyls, to which he signed every single one with an animation. Thoughtful! His day was made spending time with some model dogs who were promoting Woofstock this weekend. We hear he was in love with a gray Sharpei!
