I think most of us who saw CINDERELLA will agree that we were enchanted by Lily James. Be prepared to see her like you’ve never imagined in PRIDE + PREJUDICE + ZOMBIES. Murderous.
Synopsis:
A zombie outbreak has fallen upon the land in this reimagining of Jane Austen‘s classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England. Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) is a master of martial arts and weaponry and the handsome Mr. Darcy (Sam Riley) is a fierce zombie killer, yet the epitome of upper class prejudice. As the zombie outbreak intensifies, they must swallow their pride and join forces on the blood-soaked battlefield in order to conquer the undead once and for all.

As if Lily Collins’ Career couldn’t be getting any hotter, news has just surfaced that she’s close to sealing the deal to star in Pride, Prejudice and Zombies. The Horror-Drama-Romance is based on Seth Grahame Smith’s Mash-up of the Literary Classic by Jane Austen. This of course has long been in-the-works with Natalie Portman once being attached to star, but after several delays Variety reports Burr Steers will direct.
Collins first will need to pass her first major test of Box Office bankability in this Summer’s The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. If this sizzling new Trailer is any indication how massive it will be, then the Hollywood’s A-List better click that “enter” key a few times to make some room quick for a new name.
