Centering on Sophie who is about to wed, she is set on finding her biological father and having him walk her down the aisle. She does this secretly, sending out letters to the potential parents after discovering the trysts in her mom Donna’s diaries. Things are about to pop-off when all three men show up for the wedding and we’re about to find out who Sophie’s father is, but not without triggering Donna!

Such a tremendous production! We wish we saw Mamma Mia sooner!

Toronto is in for a very huge treat as Mirvish Productions present four-time Tony-winning Musical THE OUTSIDERS! While many of us have seen Francis Coppola’s 1983 film or read S.E. Hinton‘s novel on which this is based, be ready to be floored by this latest incarnation. It runs June 17 to July 16, 2026 at the Princess of Wales Theatre, feeling almost too short a stay.

The Musical explores a turf war between The Socs and The Greasers in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the ’60s. At the heart of the story is Ponyboy Curtis (Nolan White), who is navigating young adulthood as a 14-year-old, while with his brothers Darrel (Travis Roy Rogers) and Sodapop (Corbin Drew Ross), are coping with the loss of their parents. It is through a feud between the two gangs, that Ponyboy finds himself divided from his brothers, before ultimately leading him on a path to helping find himself.

The stage production is incredible. Never before have I seen choreography so beautifully paired with lighting and effects in the way it is so innovatively done here. This young Ensemble Cast are brilliant, and I was so affected by it all! THE OUTSIDERS cannot be missed! Tickets are on-sale now at Mrivish.com.

Paranormal Activity arrives at Ed Mirvish Theatre, delivering an immersive spine-chilling experience with impressive twists and scares that keeps the audience on the edge of their seat. 

We were sceptical of this stage adaptation of the beloved film franchise. But what makes this play work is its original story. We don’t know what’s going to happen unlike so many film to stage leaps. Here we follow James (Patrick Heusinger) and Lou (Melissa James) who move from Chicago to London to escape their past, but they soon discover that places aren’t haunted, people are.

From beginning to end, Paranormal Activity is a visceral experience. Loud music, meticulous lighting and a dollhouse-like set catapult audiences into this eerie world. Unlike the films, where you know it’s on the screen, here the supernatural feels real; you’re sitting in the room with the spirit. Making this play more terrifying than the films that have come before. 

Top all that off with two brilliant performances from Heusinger and James that allow audiences to be frightened and moments of levity.

Taking place now through June 7, 2026 at Princess of Wales Theatre is BEAUTIFUL NOISE: THE NEIL DIAMOND MUSICAL! The toe-tapping Musical told through two actors playing the hitmaker then and now, takes a deep look into his past and traumas that made him the legend he is today. In addition to his anthem “Sweet Caroline,” he is responsible for hits “Cracklin’ Rosie,” “You Don’t Brjng Me.Flowers“, “Song Sung Blue” (for which the 2025 film starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson was named) and “America“.

The story focuses on Neil Diamond (current day) played by Robert Westenberg as he is sitting down talking to his therapist (Lisa Renee Pitts) about his life, as she tries to get him to open-up and talk about how he became the man he is today. He is hesitant, and she presents him his songbook, and picks songs that allows him to let his guard down about the past and how these hits became to be, in relation to the points where he was in his life.

When we see “then” Neil, he is played by Nick Frandiani who inherited the role on Broadway in 2023. He alsl happens to be the American Idol winner in 2015. While the show tells the tale of Neil Diamond, and how the songs came to be, the audience is most engaged and joyous when the songs everyone has come to know and love are being performed my Fradiani and company. Two-and-a-half hours fly by when the songs are being sung, and most notably, there is almost non-stop music. initely more hits being sung then story being told – but we are all here for the wonderful music of this legend, so get your best sparkly outfit, and dance your way over to the Princess of Wales Theatre before June 7, 2026.

We’re sure many of you have seen Baz Luhrmann‘s iconic MOULIN ROUGE, but have you seen its TONY-winning stage adaptation? Well, now’s your chance to do so as it’s playing at CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre till May 10, 2026!

This dazzling production updates the Film with newer musical numbers and references, containing over 70+ Pop tunes in an electrifying mish-mash. You will be floored by its spectacular stage production and costumes, and of course an energetic Ensemble.

The Musical centers on Satine, played by the phenomenal Gabriela Carrillo. She is a celebrated Parisian showgirl who must choose between love and security. She catches the eye of the Duke of Monroth (Aaron C. Finley), a wealthy, controlling patron who offers to take the nightclub she works at out of trouble in buying it out. This would also mean that Satine becomes his possession, but this also would save the nightclub. She also meets Christian (Ryan Vasquez), a Bohemian Songwriter, and they craft together with troupe a play which mirrors their lives as Satine and Christian try to conceal their love affair from the Duke. All at once, she learns she is coping with a crippling mystery illness.

The electrifying rock experience, Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical roars back to Toronto this spring. The operatic rock-n-roll musical is returning to the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre where it first made its North American premiere for six performances only from April 1 – 4, 2026. The new 2026 North American Tour is directed by Jay Scheib in a fresh production designed to leave audiences spellbound from beginning to end. 

The timeless music of Jim Steinman and the powerhouse vocals of Meat Loaf explode onto the stage featuring legendary renditions of some of rock’s most  iconic anthems, including “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)”, “Paradise By The Dashboard Light” and “You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth”among other rock classics. 

“This new production of Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical is a visual feast that pushes the boundaries of live theatre,” says Glenn Orsher of S2BN. “With a powerhouse live band on stage and sprawling multi-level platforms, audiences are swept into a pulse-pounding world where the music never stops. The show kicks off its Canadian engagement in Toronto followed by three scheduled stops in Montreal, QC; London, ON; and Thunder Bay, ON. 

Set in the post-apocalyptic city of Obsidian, a group of rebellious, eternally young outsiders known as The Lost flee into the tunnels beneath the city to escape its ruler, Falco. Amid the chaos, Flaco’s teenage daughter Raven locks eyes with Strat, the fearless leader of The Lost, sparking a love-at-first sight obsession that threatens to destroy both of their families. Bat Out of Hell – The Musical explores enduring themes of rebellion, youth, and freedom in a high-octane story where passion defies power and love risks consuming everything in its path.

We were lucky enough to be invited by Mirvish Productions to see their presentation of the tour of SOME LIKE IT HOT and we have to tell you, it was an absolute delight!

If you’re a fan of the Billy Wilder movie with Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon, and Marilyn Monroe, then with the modern changes that the stage production, which won four Tony’s brings will surely delight audiences. One of the Tony Awards won was Some Like it Hot won was Best Choreography, and there’s no doubt as to why, the tap dancing and choreographed numbers and simply sublime, while the entire Cast bring their all to the forefront and bring a modern life to this classic old Hollywood tale.

The Cast features Dequina Moore as Sweet Sue, Matt Loehr as Joe/Josephine, and Tavis Kordell as Jerry/Daphne respectively, and Leandra Ellis-Gaston as Sugar, bring to life the characters we fell in love in the Wilder film.

Truly, there is not a better time at the theatre than Some Like it Hot, so get ready to battle prohibition while running for your life at the toe tapping, incredibly fun and joyous musical adaptation of Some Like it Hot.

She’s back!! After a very successful debut in Toronto in 2022, en route to a successful Broadway run, Mirvish Productions bring back & JULIET where it all began.

Mirvish Productions’ & Juliet mashes-up William Shakespeare and wife Anne Hathaway‘s actual story, with his masterpiece Romeo & Juliet, set against a backdrop of Pop mastermind Max Martin‘s catalog of smash hits! It is the perfect pick-me-up out of these winter blues, asking what would happen if Juliet survived?

I don’t know how they did it, but I loved it even more the second time! This Ensemble pairs together so wonderfully, led by Vanessa Sears, who is a 10 out of 10 vocally, a perfect Juliet. Julia Mclellan as Anne Hathaway also is a true powerhouse, drawing us into this magical, uplifting place!

We were left with tears – not of sadness – but of joy and hope from this! A truly special Musical which SHOULD adapted into a Film!

Mirvish Productions have brought back fan favourite WE WILL ROCK YOU for a limited engagement at CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre! This latest version adds in some dashes of new to keep things current and fun even! The run goes till January 18, 2026 and trust me, you don’t need even to be familiar with Queen‘s legacy to catch that infectious spirit the show possesses!

The Musical, set against a soundtrack of Queen‘s beloved hits, centers on Galileo (Callum Lurie) who could well be a prophet or not as the all-powerful Globalsoft is looking to abolish Bohemians and any trace of creativity under the iron fist of the Killer Queen (Maggie Lacasse). This comes at all costs and severe punishments if you show any signs of originality in the land of Artificial Intelligence. Galileo meets Scaramouche (Paige Foskett) and together they must escape Globalsoft’s iron clutch, where they unite with a band of misfits, Bohemians, uniting in a fight to save Rock ‘n’ Roll and humanity. There also might be a little love in the air too! I don’t know…

This Broadway touring production of The Sound of Music has made its way to Toronto, and we couldn’t be more excited! After seeing the opening night performance, we can confirm that it’s everything we had hoped for from this timeless tale. Given that this is the Broadway touring production, it should come as no surprise that the lighting and set design are outstanding. They propel you into the grandeur of the Abbey and The Von Trapps’ home.

All the beloved songs from Rodgers and Hammerstein II are sung with heart and bravado. The classics such as “The Sound of Music” and “My Favorite Things” will make audiences want to burst into song along with Maria. Cayleigh Capaldi is perfectly cast as the lively Maria and makes this familiar role her own. The seven Von Trapp children are a joy to watch. Each delivers many memorable moments throughout the production. And this rendition of “Do-Re-Mi” will stay with audiences long after the curtain call!

This production of The Sound of Music is a great way to spend time with your family this Holiday Season! Make sure to catch it before it finishes its run at the Princess of Wales Theatre on January 4, 2026.
