Bestowed with the powers of the gods, Billy Batson and his fellow foster kids are still learning how to juggle teenage life with having adult Super Hero alter-egos. Among the several Productions to amp-up this City after a major lull is MINORITY REPORT, which picks-up after the 2002 Box Office-topping Steven Spielberg Film, starring Tom Cruise. Although it only is in the Pilot stage, things are looking rather promising for the slick-looking potential FOX Series starring Meagan Good (Anchorman 2, Think Like a Man) and Wilmer Valderrama (That 70s Show). The Pilot starts ten years after “Pre-Crime“. It focuses on a “Pre-Cog” who struggles to maintain a normal life, while being haunted by visions of the future. A Detective may hold the key to helping him understand his purpose.
Although Production wraps early this week, we are hearing that if the Series is ordered, it will indeed continue to film in the City.
Walderrama who came to the public eye as Fez in That 70s Show, simultaneously is working on a Series called From Dusk Till Dawn, filming in Texas and caught a red eye flight after a day of work yesterday. His work day today lasted 15 hours and I asked him how he does it. “Eating properly and exercising is really important”, he tells me. “I won’t be sleeping much tonight too as I have to prep for this too”, he says about another day of filming tomorrow. The Actor who is in a long-term relationship with Pop Megastar Demi Lovato, Tweeted that we can expect a transformation from him professionally this coming year, stating “This year, the next chapter of my life & career begins…”And we are anxious to see what he delivers.
Good, also appears on the verge of becoming a household name after starring in several Box Office Hits. The disarming Beauty tells me she had to shave her hair down for this current Role and the gorgeous Bob we will see her sport in the Series is actually a wig.
Walderrama and Good were really kind to stop after a long day at work, posing for a Photo for me in front of the famed CN Tower:
Earlier, some Fans spotted up-and-coming Actress Li Jun Li who stars in the Series as Akeela. She wrapped filming on the Pilot tonight and is eager for us to see the finished Product! She next can be seen in Jonathan Demme‘s Ricki and The Flash, which stars Meryl Streep. And of course we had to do Selfies, right?
