Funnyman Adam Sandler brought the laughs to Scotiabank Arena this weekend as part of this I’M YOUR BEST FRIEND Tour! Supported by Comedy legends Rob Schneider and Kevin Nealon, Sandler gave Toronto fans an exact reminder why they love “The Sandman” so much. And it makes sense he has such an affinity with our City having filmed many a movie here, including BILLY MADISON, PIXELS, and more recently YOU’RE SO NOT INVITED TO ME BAT MITZVAH!

The Show combined his musical talents, and a mix of raunchy and silly humour bringing the audience to stitches, whether he was joking about intimate moments with his wife Jackie (who joined him on stage!), the annoyances of parenting, the Gen Z “Broccoli Haircut” which several young men are rocking these days, or paying tribute to legends of Comedy, including his dear friend Chris Farley. The Show was the right mix of hilarity and sentiment, showcasing Sandler’s wide range of talents.

Sandler took a moment to showcase his daughter Sunny‘s singing abilities, accompanying her on guitar also, thanking the crowd for being supportive of her.

Critically acclaimed actor and comedian Kevin James is set to release his first comedy special for Prime Video, Kevin James: Irregardless. The one-hour special will premiere in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on January 23, 2024.

The highly anticipated, family-friendly special Kevin James: Irregardless delivers a hilariously unfiltered take on parenting, marriage, and getting older. As only James can, he covers a range of topics, from motivating children to put down their video games, to why he doesn’t trust technology, and how many Tater Tots he can fit in his mouth!

James began his career as a stand-up in the Long Island comedy scene. After being discovered at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, he signed a network development deal to create his own sitcom, The King of Queens. The series ran for nine seasons on CBS with James starring and executive producing, and garnered him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

James brought his stand-up act to TV with Sweat the Small Stuff, a one-hour special for Comedy Central. His second comedy special, Never Don’t Give Up, premiered on Netflix to critical acclaim.

James made his feature film debut in Columbia Pictures’ Hitch, starring opposite Will Smith, and starred in, produced, and co-wrote the hit comedies Paul Blart: Mall Cop 1 and 2, Zookeeper, and Here Comes The Boom. He has starred alongside Adam Sandler in Pixels, Grown Ups 1 and 2, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, and Hubie Halloween. Other features include True Memoirs of an International Assassin and Home Team for Netflix, as well as the independent action thriller Becky.

Kevin James: Irregardless is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Positive Image Video, with Kevin James, Jeff Sussman, Anthony Giordano and Brady Nasfell serving as executive producers.

Synopsis:

The Crew stars Kevin James as a NASCAR crew chief for the fictional Bobby Spencer Racing team. Halloween is just around the corner and Netflix is ready to get us in the spirit with HUBIE HALLOWEEN!

Synopsis:

In the infamous town of Salem, Massachusetts, big-hearted Hubie Dubois (Adam Sandler) regularly spends Halloween making sure his fellow residents celebrate the holiday safely and keep the childish shenanigans in check, though they don’t often thank him for it. Hubie is mocked for being overly cautious and still living with his mom (June Squibb), plus he’s called the police so often over the years that Officer Steve Downing (Kevin James) actively avoids him.

In this sequel, in which Kevin James reprises the role of Paul Blart, the security guard is headed to Las Vegas to attend a Security Guard Expo with his teenage daughter Maya (Raini Rodriguez) before she departs for college.
