Internationally acclaimed, multi-platinum and award-winning artist, producer, musician and songwriter Charlie Puth today releases his latest single “Beat Yourself Up,” from his highly anticipated forthcoming studio album Whatever’s Clever!, out on March 27, 2206 [PRE-ORDER HERE].
“Beat Yourself Up” started as something I wanted to tell a friend.” Puth shares on writing “Beat Yourself Up” and its inspiration. “We’ve never been the heart-to-heart types, so I wrote it in a song instead. I wanted to tell him that even though he has made mistakes along the way, he shouldn’t be so hard on himself. That things will get better and he’s not alone. While writing it, I soon realized this wasn’t just for my friend but myself and so many others who can be hard on themselves. It’s a message to keep going and be kinder to yourself.”
Co-produced by Charlie Puth and BLOODPOP, “Beat Yourself Up” continues to set the scene for what is his most personal and explorative era yet and follows news of his biggest world tour to date, seeing Puth fill arenas across the globe this year.
Starting on April 22 at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, Puth and his A+ band will perform hits old and new across 34 dates in North America before venturing to Europe and the United Kingdom this summer. Tickets go on-sale today. For more information go to: https://www.charlieputh.com

About Charlie Puth
GRAMMY-nominated and multi-platinum singer/songwriter/producer Charlie Puth has proven to be one of the industry’s most consistent hitmakers and sought-after collaborators across multiple genres. To date he has amassed over 35 billion career streams, nine multi-platinum singles (including “Attention,” “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” “See You Again” & more), four GRAMMY nominations, three Billboard Music Awards, a Critic’s Choice Award, and a Golden Globe nomination. Puth is currently working on his highly anticipated fourth studio album, the follow-up to 2022’s CHARLIE which featured platinum-certified hit single “Light Switch” and “Left and Right” featuring Jung Kook of BTS. Meanwhile, his 2021 co-penned/produced single “Stay” for The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber reigned #1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart for eleven weeks, and his collaboration with Gabby Barrett on their “I Hope (Remix)” earned him his fourth top 10 charting track on the Billboard Hot 100.
Charlie Puth has announced details on his forthcoming fourth studio album, Whatever’s Clever!, set for release on March 6, 2026 via Atlantic Records.
Offering the first taste of what’s to come, the multi-award-winning, Diamond-certified artist and multi-instrumentalist releases “Changes,” a timeless and uplifting single showcasing exactly what Puth does best; offering infectious hooks, sing-out-loud choruses and signature piano solos enough to lift even the heaviest of hearts and feet.
Described as a “potential hit single” by Rolling Stone Magazine, “that lands somewhere between Eighties Steve Winwood and Jackson’s “Human Nature,” “Changes” signifies a career-defining chapter is upon us, and Charlie Puth is back and better than ever. Stepping into his own with co-producer BloodPop, the internationally acclaimed GRAMMY® and Golden Globe nominated artist shines in an entirely new light, offering his bravest, boldest and most honest body of work to date.
Pre-order/add/save Whatever’s Clever! HERE.
Accompanying the new single is an official music video directed by Charlotte Rutherford, playfully incorporating nods to a long-gone pre-digital era, Charlie reflects on “Changes” both personal and professional with a sweet cameo from his real life wife Brooke Sansone.
Last month, Puth kicked off a series of sold-out underplay residencies starting at Blue Note New York, where The New Yorker observed the chart-topping popstar seemed most “at home” at the legendary jazz club. Performing to a sold-out crowd twice a night, Puth welcomed special guests including his idols Babyface and Jimmy Jam onto the stage, as well as Emmy-nominated Broadway star Anthony Ramos. Tonight, his sold-out Blue Note Los Angeles residency begins with more surprise guests in store. Fans can livestream his first performance tonight at 7PM on TikTok. RSVP HERE

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Katy and she’s just released her new Track HARLEYS IN HAWAII, produced in part by Charlie Puth. The Video has Teenage Dream aesthetic, but the Track has a bit more of a mellow, chill-out vibe.

2016 certainly was one for the books. I admit feeling terribly guilty every time someone claimed how horrible the year was when I secretly felt otherwise! Whether it be the amazing Films I saw, singling-out LA LA LAND, which I will say is the one of the finest to be released in the past decade, or songs on the radio – we love a return to strong melancholy melodies – the year gave us many memories to hold on to. And to think we used to scoff at Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars and The Weeknd … now they’re on repeat on our Spotify account.
If there was a big name in town, we were there and this will be defined as the year we met our faves Gwyneth Paltrow, James Corden, Anne Hathaway, Taraji P. Henson, Rooney Mara and Emma Stone. We admit, we’re a bit mortified we’ll run out of heroes to meet!
And let’s not forget my love of horses. My travels to New York and California brought me together with icons like California Chrome, Beholder, Lady Eli and star of tomorrow, Classic Empire – the early favourite for May’s Kentucky Derby. My favourite horsey moment though? Meeting “Princess” aka A Pic by MrWill, my own namesake, for the first time back in February! I will miss her as she enjoys the sun and sand in Florida this winter, but look forward to her being a tough machine in the spring after her winter training.
Join me on a walk down memory lane one more time! And check back this weekend as we check-in with Team Mr. Will including Justin Waldman, Jon Godfrey, Dave Baldwin, Siobhán Rich, Amanda Gilmore + George Kozera as they give us their Best-Ofs!

See you ’17!

Charlie Puth certainly is a force to be reckoned with. Signed to Atlantic Records (Warner Music), the 24-year-old from New Jersey surfaced last year and has non-stop since delivered the hits. His first single See You Again (from Furious 7) with Wiz Khalifa garnered him a #1 and three Grammy nods.
Marvin Gaye (ft. Meghan Trainor) was one of songs of summer 2015 and current single One Call Away has shown longevity, currently at number 10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. He is said next to be producing Selena Gomez tracks for her next album.
Puth plays his first ever show in Toronto tonight at The Mod Club, the latest in a tour which has seen him trek through North America by bus. He spent most of his morning doing radio interviews before meeting fans at HMV Underground, signing his debut disc Nine Track Mind and posing for pics with fans before an in-house photographer.
We had the pleasure of meeting Puth twice and he was amazingly nice to stop to take a Selfie being in a rush at KISS 92.5‘s The Roz & Mocha Show and we got to chat more with him at his signing where he was genuine in accepting a compliment about his album. We honestly love it.
See our Snaps:
See our Highlights of Puth’s day including his HMV Superstore visit and show at The Mod Club:
Puth played an amazing, intimate show with a selection from his debut disc NINE TRACK MIND. It was an experience getting to witness his true musicianship, performing extended endings to some of his material allowing him to scat and do vocal flourishes. The set was v. fan-focused with his audience singing along start to finish. And at one point he even invited one on-stage to perform One Call Away together, transposed into her range!
We also got to meet his Supporting Talent, Sony Music artists Phoebe Ryan and Sophie Beem, the latter whom we’ve been raving about much of late – she was signed by none other than Beyoncé.

We absolutely adore Charlie Puth since he first graced our airwaves with Wiz Khalifa collabo See You Again. After hearing Marvin Gaye (ft. Meghan Trainor) we were sold and since discovering his debut disc NINE TRACK MIND last month, we’ve been obsessed. Equal parts Pop Idol and a fantastic Singer/Songwriter, we want to take give one of our Readers the full CHARLIE PUTH Experience in Toronto this coming Monday, March 28, 2016.
With over 100 million views already, Puth‘s latest single ONE CALL AWAY also is on its way to being a major smash hit!
For those of you in Toronto (or who can make it to Toronto), you are entering to win a wristband and a copy of NINE TRACK MIND which will be signed by Puth in-person. That’s right! You’ll be meeting him! Above this, you also will get a ticket to see Puth live in concert at The Mod Club later that evening! Beyoncé‘s protégé Sophie Beem also will be opening!
To enter to win, simply click “like” on this Post at MR. WILL ON FACEBOOK. Click “share” on this Post for an extra chance. You must physically be able to make it to Toronto Monday, March 28, 2016 in the afternoon. We will not be providing transportation.
Further details below:

To clarify, this contest is not directly affiliated with Warner Music Canada nor HMV Canada. We have an extra ticket to the show and also a wristband to meet him and out of the goodness of our hearts want to share with our Willionaire$! Also remember that event details are subject to change at the organizers’ discretion.
Warner Music Canada release Charlie Puth‘s NINE TRACK MIND, now in stores and iTunes!

Making a throw back to Young MC, you’ve gotta check-out this hot track from Sophie Beem! The Sony Music (Columbia Records) Artist is a protege of Beyoncé and believe it or not, she’s only in 11th grade! Currently on tour with Charlie Puth, who makes a Toronto stopoff at Mod Club Monday, March 28, 2016, Beem is set to make a splash. She at least turned quite a few heads at their L.A. show at Fonda Theatre the other day with Beyoncé and Jay-Z coming out to watch her at the show!
In the meantime, enjoy first single I Got It ft. Fetty Wap!
Certified sizzle!
Definitely keep a tab on Beem, whose five-track EP is now out on iTunes here!
