A Woman of Substance arrives on BritBox this summer with both a highly anticipated new adaptation and the beloved 1984 classic. Led by Brenda Blethyn (Vera, Little Voice) and Jessica Reynolds (House of Guinness, Outlander), the sweeping drama follows the extraordinary rise of Emma Harte from Yorkshire maid to powerful businesswoman. The new adaptation premieres June 24, with the original 1984 miniseries joining the service on July 29.
