#FIRSTLOOK: COLM FEORE AND DEAUDRE’ WOODS TO PARTNER WITH SHAKESPEARIENCE

Given the growing pressure to eliminate Shakespeare’s plays from the curriculum, on Tuesday May 30, 2023, acclaimed Actor Colm Feore, Hamilton star DeAundre’ Woods and Shakespearience’s Executive Director, Marvin Karon will participate in a live workshop with grade 10 students of Toronto’s Bishop Marrocco Secondary School. Through an interactive journey of discovery, the group will examine the connection (and relevance) of Shakespeare’s work to emotional intelligence and mental health in today’s world.

Celebrating its 25th year guiding Ontario students, SHAKESPEARIENCE is a dynamic non-profit which has received hundreds of moving testimonials from teachers, parents and students reporting rewarding and multi-dimensional outcomes from their own experiences with Shakespearience, notably among at-risk, under-resourced, ESL, and students who identify as being on the spectrum or with mild learning disabilities.
