So we were just minding out business over lunch today working on our recap of the Canadian Screen Award nominations and standing right before us was HIM. The English Actor, best known as Meriadoc Brandybuck in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Charlie Pace in beloved series LOST, is in Toronto today promoting Season 3 of WILD THINGS WITH DOMINIC MONAGHAN on OLN.
The Series which just premiered earlier this month sees Monaghan venturing in dangerous situations thus far taking him to Belize and Florida this season. New episodes air Tuesdays at 9 PM EST. Learn more here.
We last met Monaghan when he came for TIFF about five years back and just like then, he remains amazingly-nice, happy to stop after his lunch at TIFF Bell Lightbox‘s Canteen for a quick Snap. He also hit-up various outlets today including eTalk, The Marilyn Denis Show and The Social.

Umm, we only LOVED Neighbors, so it brings us great relief that this Trailer for NEIGHBORS 2: SORORITY RISING looks hilarious!
Synopsis:
Now that Mac (Seth Rogen) and Kelly Radner (Rose Byrne) have a second baby on the way, they are ready to make the final move into adulthood: the suburbs. But just as they thought they’d reclaimed the neighborhood and were safe to sell, they learn that the new occupants next door are a sorority even more out of control than Teddy (Zac Efron) and his brothers ever dreamed of being.
Tired of their school’s sexist, restrictive system, the unorthodox ladies of Kappa Nu have decided to start a house where they can do whatever the hell they want. When Shelby (Chloe Moretz) and her sisters, Beth (Kiersey Clemons) and Nora (Beanie Feldstein), find the perfect place just off campus, they won’t let the fact that it’s located on a quiet street stand in their way of parties as epic as the guys throw.
Forced to turn to the one ex-neighbor with the skills to bring down the new Greeks next door, the Radners—alongside best friends Jimmy (Ike Barinholtz) and Paula (Carla Gallo)—bring in charismatic Teddy as their secret weapon. If he can infiltrate the sorority and charm his way through it, the thirtysomethings will shutter the Kappas’ home. But if they think that their neighbors are going down without a fight, they have severely underestimated the power of youthful ingenuity and straight-up crazy.

Elevation Pictures + Mr. Will want to give you the chills. Ontario-filmed THE WITCH won audiences over at TIFF ’15 and we admit four months later we still are terrified. We want to give you a chance to attend an advanced screening of THE WITCH on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Ottawa, Calgary, Victoria and Halifax.
Synopsis:
New England, 1630: William and Katherine lead a devout Christian life, homesteading on the edge of an impassible wilderness, with five children. When their newborn son mysteriously vanishes and their crops fail, the family begins to turn on one another. In his debut feature, writer/director Robert Eggers painstakingly designs an authentic re-creation of New England — generations before the 1692 trials in Salem — evoking the alluring and terrifying power of the timeless witch myth. Told through the eyes of Thomasin, the teenage daughter (in a star-making performance by Anya Taylor-Joy), and supported by haunting camera work and an ominous score, THE WITCH is a chilling portrait of a family unraveling within their own fears and anxieties, leaving them prey for an inescapable evil.
