Glinda the Good tells the Witch’s story: born from an affair between the wife of then-Governor Thropp and a traveling salesman, she was rejected from birth due to her green skin, which caused her to suffer a troubled childhood. When asked if she and the Witch were friends, Glinda replies that they knew each other and reflects on their past.

Conclave

When Cardinal Lawrence is tasked with leading one of the world’s most secretive and ancient events, selecting a new Pope, he finds himself at the center of a conspiracy that could shake the very foundation of the Catholic Church.

A Real Pain

Mismatched cousins reunite for a tour through Poland to honor their beloved grandmother, but their old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history.

#FOOD: STARBUCKS CANADA UNVEIL NEW SPRING 2025 MENU INCLUDING LAVENDER AND CHERRY CHAI

On Tuesday, March 4, 2025 Starbucks is saying goodbye to the chill of winter and ringing in the long-awaited spring. This year’s Starbucks Spring Menu welcomes the new Iced Cherry Chai, the first springtime Chai to join the menu, adding a whimsical element to the popular tea beverage. Also joining the menu is the NEW Jalapeño Chicken Pocket and the NEW Spicy Falafel Pocket, alongside returning lavender beverages, available for a limited time.

Here are the highlights of the Starbucks Spring Menu:

– A cheerful combination: The new Iced Cherry Chai puts an elevated springtime twist on the beloved Iced Chai Latte, featuring a cherry cream cold foam that offers notes of cherry with a cherry crunch topping.

– “When you take a sip of Iced Cherry Chai, you immediately get a creamy texture and warm spices along with notes of cherry – and it all comes together in an approachable way,” said Billy Altieri, lead beverage developer for Starbucks.

–Pocket full of spice: Joining the permanent menu are the new, certified vegan, Spicy Falafel Pocket, combining smashed falafel, creamy hummus, roasted red bell peppers, pickled onions, and a spicy herb sauce, all wrapped inside a toasted lavash flatbread, and the new Jalapeño Chicken Pocket, stuffed with diced chicken, charred poblanos, green jalapeños, three-chile-pepper cheese and jalapeño cream cheese, wrapped in a toasted chile lavash flatbread.

–Love for lavender: Back by popular demand, lavender returns to the Starbucks Spring Menu, including the Iced Lavender Cream Oat Matcha, Iced Lavender Latte and Lavender Crème Frappuccino® Blended Beverage.

– A new blonde in town: Starbucks Sunsera Blend is a new blonde roast crafted with easy drinking in mind, launching at Starbucks cafes in Canada on March 4. Starbucks Sunsera will be available to purchase as a whole bean 1Lb bag or as the featured light roast in cafes.

#OSCARS: “ANORA” WINS BEST PICTURE AT 2025 ACADEMY AWARDS

It was a huge night for ANORA, which after some early buzz that seemed to have faded, only to gain momentum over the past few weeks to take the throne at the 97th Academy Awards tonight in Los Angeles!

The Sean Baker Dramedy centering on a sex worker who is swept off her feet by the son of a Russian oligarch, took five of the six awards which it was up for including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress (Mikey Madison), Best Original Screenplay and Best Editing. Baker, winning for the first time tonight, took to the podium to make a battle cry for brick and mortar cinemas, after more than 1,000 theatres had closed since the Pandemic. He made his case to Filmmakers to continue releasing films theatrically, before wishing his mother a Happy Birthday. His mother took him to the theatre for the first time when he was five-years-old.

Brady Corbet‘s THE BRUTALIST also did quite well, taking three Oscars including Best Actor (Adrien Brody), Best Cinematography and Best Original Score. Meanwhile, WICKED, DUNE: PART TWO and EMILIA PEREZ each took home two Oscars each.

Funnyman Conan O’Brien hosted the Awards for the first time ever at the ceremony which saw much humour, yet also took moments to remember the likes of the late Quincy Jones, and two-time Oscar winner Gene Hackman who had passed recently.

#BOXOFFICE: “CAPTAIN AMERICA” COMMANDS IN ITS THIRD WEEK

CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD spends a third week at the top of the Box Office with $14 million, bringing it to $142.9 million over three weekends for Disney/Marvel.

Second is a debuting LAST BREATH, with $7.8 million from 3,111 theatres for Focus Features/Elevation Pictures. This Thriller based on true events, gets a 77% on the Tomatometer.

Oz Perkins’ THE MONKEY takes third spot with $6.5 million for NEON/Elevation Pictures, taking it to $15 million over two weekends.

PADDINGTON IN PERU takes fourth spot with $4.5 million for Sony Pictures, a tally of $31 million domestically.

Rounding thing off is DOG MAN with $4 million, bringing it to $83 million for Universal Pictures.

#NEWMUSIC: LIZZO NEW SINGLE “LOVE IN REAL LIFE”

She’s back…

Kicking off what promises to be a blockbuster era, 4x GRAMMY® Award and Emmy award winning, RIAA multi-platinum certified superstar Lizzo returns with a brand new song, the first of many, entitled “Love In Real Life” available now on all streaming platforms via Nice Life Recording Company/Atlantic Records. She also shared a big screen-worthy music video directed by Colin Tilley to accompany the track. In the video, we see Lizzo recovering from heartache as she heads out for a night with her friends only to discover they’re slowly melting into an ominously faceless mob. It notably marks her first solo release in three years since 2022.

Moreover, it also heralds the arrival of her fifth full-length LP and one of the most anticipated albums of 2025, Love In Real Life.

“Love In Real Life” finds Lizzo firing on all cylinders. Once again, she boldly evolves, leaning into rock ‘n’ roll like never before. The track’s soft spoken word intro gives way to bright guitar and a breezy beat illuminated by her instantly recognizable delivery. Picking up the pace, wild riffing and a boogie down groove underline an unrestrained and undeniable refrain as she issues a flirty invitation, “Baby come over here, I need love in real life.” The visual evokes this energy and elevates her to another level altogether.

To celebrate the start of this chapter, Lizzo will perform three super intimate fan shows next month. First up, she graces the stage of The Wiltern in Los Angeles on March 12 followed by Irving Plaza in New York, NY on March 16 and First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN on March 18. #NEWMUSIC: DASHA NEW SINGLE “NOT AT THIS PARTY”

Making a bold return today, RIAA Platinum certified pop-country sensation, Dasha, kickstarts her sophomore country project with a new single entitled “Not At This Party” out now via Warner Records. “‘Not At This Party’ was a title I’d been carrying around for a while,” Dasha shares. “It’s about that universal experience of being out with friends, but mentally checked out. When I wrote it with Ashley Gorley and Ben Johnson, I was going through something with a guy, and the song just flowed. We really tried to capture that mix of distraction and guilt in the song.”

Earlier today, the “Not At This Party” music video debuted on CMT, MTV and Paramount’s Times Square Billboard. It is now in rotation across CMT Channels, MTV Live, mtvU and MTV’s Biggest Pop.

In 2024, the singer landed coveted spots at country music meccas, Stagecoach, Austin City Limits, CMT Awards and CMA Fest. Her year didn’t stop there, though. She sold-out her first global headlining tour, Dashville USA, and performed on two of the biggest televised broadcasts of the year – Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve. The song went on to become one of the most-streamed country songs in 2024 and won the People’s Choice Country Awards for Female Song.

“This past year I was blown away by how many little girls were riding the rails at my shows,” Dasha says. “No one connects with perfection. For me, navigating the highs and lows of this industry means accepting that I’m going to make mistakes. This journey isn’t always going to be smooth, and the bumps along the way make for a far more interesting ride.”
