Following the release of her infectious summer single, “Running Home,” Vancouver singer/songwriter Jade LeMac has released her heartfelt track, “Sleeping with the Lights On” – LISTEN HERE. This marks the third track from Jade’s anticipated EP It’s Always At Night, due November 7 via Warner Music Canada / East West Records. Pre-order here.
For the last month, Jade has been touring as the opener for powerhouse singer Maren Morris on her Dreamsicle North American tour that wraps up tonight in Atlanta. Jade also announced that she will head out on her own Canadian headline tour this winter with dates in Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Toronto and more – see below for full tour dates. Tickets are on sale here.
A tender and vulnerable track, “Sleeping with the Lights On” shows her really open up; “How the hell are you so fine, while I’m out here losing my mind?” Jade belts as she deals with heartbreak. Jade has been giving fans a sneak peek of the song, performing it live on tour, and most recently featuring it in her Audiotree live session, which also includes “Constellations,” “Running Home,” and an interview. WATCH HERE
Speaking about the new single, Jade says, “‘Sleeping with the Lights On’ is another one of my favorites. This one is definitely a vulnerable song, a heartbreak song. This also was the first song where I really discovered my sound when it comes to writing on guitar.”
Jade‘s single “Running Home” continues to make waves in North America with a recent SiriusXM Hits-1’s Hitbound add, as well as adds in major markets across the U.S, and was the #9 most added track on Pop Radio. In Canada the single has been added to multiple major radio stations across the country, debuting on the Hot AC charts this week and continuing to grow.
Jade’s impassioned storytelling has set her apart since her career beginnings, and It’s Always At Night adds new chapters. This EP was built on the artist’s guitar, whose poetic riffs, with the help of longtime production partner JVP (Mother Mother, Simple Plan), were amplified to bring a bigger pop sound to the new music. One of the EP’s most endearing treasures is the vocal choir woven throughout, made up of Jade’s friends and family. Their presence is a reflection of the artist’s humanity, as she proudly takes her loved ones along her career’s joyride. Jade dives into themes of being in love and finding yourself through it all, opening herself to listeners and empowering herself through her vulnerability. Explaining, Jade says, “It’s Always At Night is a story about a person who’s in love with love. There are songs for so many emotions – heartbreak, desire, love, and lust. Each song is its own story about the different ways I’ve felt while being in love with someone.”
Jade, is a rapidly rising star who has received praise from the likes of LA Weekly, OnesToWatch, Rolling Stone, LadyGunn, and Wonderland Magazine to name a few and has received a GLAAD Award nomination for Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist. She has built a devout and evergrowing fanbase by being true to herself as a Queer Vietnamese Canadian, and re-shaping the definition of pop stardom. With It’s Always At Night, Jade positions herself as one of the most exciting pop artists to watch.
UPCOMING TOUR DATES
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Cameron Whitcomb has released his eagerly awaited debut album, The Hard Way, available now via Atlantic Records HERE. Created with producer Jack Riley (Knox, Grace VanderWaal), as well as Cal Shapiro (Alex Warren, Timeflies) and Nolan Sipe (Benson Boone, Alex Warren), The Hard Way features emotionally raw singles including the breakout fan favorite “Quitter,” the brutally self-aware “Hundred Mile High,” the defiant “Options,” the hopeful “Fragile,” and the gut-punching title track.
Also out today, the chart-climbing single “Medusa” is now joined with a live performance video, streaming HERE. A deeply personal look at his turbulent journey – from early struggles with addiction to recovery and growth – The Hard Way is further anchored by the powerful new track “Call For You,” written as a tribute to his mom.
‘Call For You’ is a song for someone that you really care about, really love,” shares Whitcomb. “I think we all have that person that no matter what goes wrong, you can just call and rely on. I feel like a lot of people come and go but there’s always that one person you come back to.
With over 6M monthly listeners on Spotify, 3M+ followers across social platforms, and 500M+ global streams to date, Whitcomb is riding high in what’s proven to be a landmark 2025 for the Nanaimo, BC-based artist. This week, he was named the 2025 recipient of CMA’s Jeff Walker Global Country Artist Award, recognizing outstanding achievements by a Country Music artist who is originally based internationally. He was also among the big winners at the 2025 CCMA Awards, taking home the “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” and “Fans’ Choice” awards amidst six total nominations. He also made his Canadian TV debut at the CCMA Awards with an energetic live performance of “Quitter,” streaming HERE.
Whitcomb will mark the arrival of The Hard Way with his biggest North American headline run to date. The I’ve Got Options Tour kicks off tonight with a sold-out show at Portland’s Wonder Ballroom and runs through mid-November, including a two-night sold-out stand at L.A.’s iconic Troubadour (Oct 4-5). Just yesterday, he was announced as part of the 2026 Stagecoach Festival lineup, set for April 26. For updates, details, and ticket information, please visit thecamwhitcomb.com.
In a world that often prizes surface-level honesty, Cameron Whitcomb stands out as an artist with the courage to confront uncomfortable truths. After leaving home at age 17 to work on a pipeline, the British Columbia native discovered his passion for singing and devoted himself to music. He broke through with his 2024 debut EP, Quitter – a fearless collection of country/folk songs inspired by his journey through addiction and recovery.
Since then, the 22-year-old singer-songwriter has skyrocketed: headlining tours across North America and Europe, landing on 2025 Artist to Watch lists from Spotify and Amazon Music, and now releasing his full-length debut, The Hard Way.

LOGLINE: In Your Dreams is a comedy adventure about Stevie and her brother Elliot who journey into the absurd landscape of their own dreams. If the siblings can withstand a snarky stuffed giraffe, zombie breakfast foods, and the queen of nightmares, the Sandman will grant them their ultimate dream come true…the perfect family.
FROM OUR DIRECTOR, ALEX WOO:
IN YOUR DREAMS began ten years ago, when I left Pixar to start Kuku Studios. At the time, we were a tiny team of three, imagining the kinds of stories we wished to see in the world. One of our first ideas was a film about dreams.
Dreams have always fascinated me. Why do we have them? Where do they come from? What do they tell us about ourselves? Making this movie gave me the chance to explore those questions in the most fun and fantastical ways I could imagine.
The film takes us through surreal dreamscapes, filled with spectacular visuals and hilarious, out-of-this-world characters. But at its heart, it’s a grounded, emotional story about two siblings finding their way through a world that doesn’t always make sense.

From the frozen tundra of the Arctic to the NHL’s biggest arenas, Tootoo tells the remarkable story of Jordin Tootoo – one of resilience, redemption, and purpose. Premiering Friday, October 24, 2025 at 9 p.m. ET on Super Channel Fuse and available On Demand the same day, this Super Channel Original documentary offers an unvarnished look at Tootoo’s rise to international stardom, his battle with addiction, the weight of generational trauma and loss, and his determined path toward healing and purpose.
Raised in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, Tootoo grew up immersed in traditional Inuit life – hunting, fishing, and surviving in the harsh Arctic – while carrying the invisible weight of childhood trauma. On the ice, he quickly became known as one of hockey’s fiercest competitors: a relentless agitator with bone-rattling hits and an unyielding spirit. Off the ice, he battled addiction and the shadows of his past.
Midway through his decade-long NHL career, Tootoo made the courageous decision to enter the league’s Substance Abuse Program, a turning point that saved his life and realized his purpose. Today, he is celebrated not just as a trailblazing athlete, but as an advocate, mentor, and role model. Through tireless work in mental health, suicide prevention, and Indigenous community outreach, he has transformed personal hardship into a platform for change.
“Tootoo is a bold and deeply personal film that exemplifies the kind of powerful, real-world storytelling we strive to bring to Super Channel Fuse,” says Kim Ball, Chief Content and Communications Officer, Super Channel. “A story of both triumph and pain, Tootoo is a beacon of hope for those touched by addiction—one we’re honoured to share with Canadians.”
Featuring rare archival footage and intimate interviews with those closest to him — including Barney Tootoo, Rose Tootoo, Corinne Pilakapsi, and his wife, Jennifer Salvaggio —Tootoo explores how hockey was more than a career; it was an escape, a sanctuary and at times, a lifeline.
From acclaimed documentary filmmaking duo Adam Scorgie and Shane Fennessey (Inmate #1: The Rise of Danny Trejo, Bisping) of Score G Productions, and written and directed by award-winning director and writer Michael Hamilton (I Am MLK Jr, Facing Schwarzenegger), Tootoo is produced with the participation of the Canada Media Fund, the Rogers Documentary Fund and the support of Canada Goose.
