Third goes to A WORKING MAN with $6.8 million for Warner Bros. a tally of $27.3 million over two weekends.
Disney’s SNOW WHITE gets fourth with $5.7 million, a total of $77 million over three weeks.
Rounding things off is THE WOMAN IN THE YARD with $3.7 million, a total $15.8 million in its second weekend for Universal Pictures.
A WORKING MAN starring Jason Statham debuts atop the Box Office with $15.4 million from 3,262 theatres for Warner Bros./Amazon/MGM Studios, de-throning SNOW WHITE. It gets 53% on the Tomatometer.
Disney’s SNOW WHITE settles for second with $13.7 million from 4,200 theatres, taking it to $66 million in its second week out.
THE CHOSEN: LAST SUPPER (the first of three installments) debuts in third with $12 million from 2,234 theatres for Fathom Events.
Fourth goes to a debuting THE WOMAN IN THE YARD with $3.6 million from 2,842 theatres for Universal Pictures/Blumhouse. The Horror starring Danielle Deadwyler gets 50% on the Tomatometer.
DEATH OF A UNICORN starring Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega, debuts in fifth with $2.2 million from A24. It gets 55% on the Tomatometer.
DUNE: PART TWO opens to huge numbers this weekend, with a $75 million debut from 4,071 theatres for Warner Bros. The Denis Villeneuve-directed Blockbuster garners a stellar 95% on the Tomatometer from Critics. This his almost double its 2021 predecessor’s $41 million opening.
In second is two-week champ BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE with $7.9 million for Paramount Pictures, bringing it to $83 million over three weekends.
Third spot goes to THE CHOSEN: SEASON FOUR EPISODES 7-8, pulling in $4 million for Fathom Events.
ORDINARY ANGELS gets fourth with $3.1 million, a total $11.4 million over two weekends for Lionsgate.
Rounding things out is MADAME WEB with $2.6 million for Sony Pictures, bringing it to $39.7 million.
BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER rules the Box Office a second straight week with $66 million from 4,396 theatres for Disney. This brings its two week tally to $290 million already in North America.
Second placing goes to a debuting THE CHOSEN: SEASON 3 Episodes 1&2, a faith-based release opening with $10 million from 2,012 theatres for Fathom Events/Angel Studios. The Series centers on the life and ministry of Jesus.
Third is THE MENU with $8.8 million from 3,211 theatres for Searchlight Pictures. The TIFF ’22 selection starring Ralph Fiennes and Anya Taylor-Joy gets 90% on the Tomatometer.
BLACK ADAM is in fourth with $4.1 million for Warner Bros., a total $156 million grossed domestically to date.
In fifth is TICKET TO PARADISE with $3.1 million for Universal Pictures, taking its total to $61 million.
