#SPOTTED: NEW LINEUP UNVEILED AT 2013 CITY UPFRONTS
City announced its eagerly-awaited new 2013 Fall and Mid-Season Lineup earlier today this morning on Breakfast Television and although the Starpower may not have been as stellar as previous Upfronts, the Station did introduce some promising welcome additions and the welcome return of some Favourites!
Unveiled earlier today were:
Package Deal – a Vancouver-filmed Sitcom about three dysfunctionally-close Brothers and the Woman who comes between them. The Series stars Randal Edwards, Julia Voth, Jay Malone and Harland Williams. The Series airs Mondays this Fall at 8:30 PM EST. Learn more here. The Principal Cast of the Series came to introduce the Series earlier today and pictured below are Voth (L), Malone (Top R), Williams (Bottom R).
Super Fun Night – Starring red-hot Rebel Wilson, this Series centers around three geeky Girlfriends who go on a quest to find fun every Friday night. Liza Lapira, Kelen Coleman, Kevin Bishop and Canadian Lauren Ash (pictured below) star also and the Series airs Wednesday nights at 9:30 PM EST.
The Crazy Ones – Set in the cutthroat world of Advertising, Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar star as a Father and Daughter pair and the Series centers on the dynamics of their relationship. Hamish Linklater, Amanda Setton and the handsome James Wolk (pictured below) also star! Kelly Clarkson even appears on the Series! The Series airs Thursdays at 9:00 PM EST.
Mother-Up! – Centering around a disgraced former Music Executive-turned-Mom, this Animated Feature features the Voicework of A-List TV Actress Eva Longoria (see below!), Gabrielle Miller, Jesse Camacho, Cle Bennett and more. Debuting mid-Season, the Series still has yet to be slotted in an official time slot.
Returning on City this Fall are the likes of Modern Family, The Carrie Diaries, Two Broke Girls, Scandal and Revenge. Looking great are new Series like Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (Once Upon a Time Spin-Off), Mom (starring the amazing Ana Faris) and Betrayal.
City once again will be airing Music’s most famous night, The Grammys, once again and Musical-Drama Series Nashville, which formerly aired on CTV in Canada, will be making the switch the City next season.
