San Diego Comic Con proves again why it is the ultimate fan mecca! Fans were treated to up-close and intimate access to their favourites and giants from the DC Comics and Marvel universes, plus game-changer Netflix, made their presences felt!

It was announced that a standalone BATGIRL Film and Sequels to WONDER WOMAN and SUICIDE SQUAD are on the way from DC Comics.

This of course, was not to outdone by the eagerly-awaited BLADE RUNNER 2049, which also made an appearance this weekend!

Synopsis:

We hear the term thrown around a lot of late, but what exactly is a Girlboss? Netflix‘s new comedy series starring Britt Robertson, is ready to be discovered globally this weekend. In advance of that, Robertson and Author/Producer Sophia Amoruso and Series Creator/Producer Kay Cannon, tell us in this Featurette truly what it means to be the titular figure on which the series centers.

Synopsis:
Girlboss is inspired by the New York Times best-selling book #Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso, founder of the fashion brand Nasty Gal. The series centers on Sophia (Britt Robertson), who began selling vintage clothes on eBay and, by the age of 28, had built the multi-million dollar fashion empire, Nasty Gal. Well I know what we’ll be doing Victoria Day weekend! Netflix launches the official Trailer for upcoming original feature, WAR MACHINE starring Brad Pitt!

Synopsis:
In a film for our times, writer-director David Michôd (Animal Kingdom) recreates a U.S. General’s roller-coaster rise and fall as part reality, part savage parody – raising the specter of just where the line between them lies today. His is an anti-establishment, pro-soldier exploration in the form of an absurdist war story of a born leader’s ultra-confident march right into the dark heart of folly. At the story’s core is Brad Pitt’s sly take on a successful, charismatic four-star general who leapt in like a rock star to command NATO forces in Afghanistan, only to be taken down by his own hubris and a journalist’s no-holds-barred expose. War Machine addresses the debt we owe to soldiers to question the purposes to which they are being directed.

War Machine stars also Emory Cohen, Topher Grace, Anthony Michael Hall, Will Poulter, Lakeith Stanfield, Meg Tilly, Tilda Swinton and Sir Ben Kingsley.
