#SPOTTED: ADVENTURES AT THE SHEIN HAULIDAY MARKET NEW YORK CITY 2025
SHEIN quickly has become our style go-to and the more I mention it, more and more friends are coming out to express similar adoration of the brand!
Candidly speaking, since embracing the fashion giant a year ago, we have never heard more compliments about our looks, especially at tiff50, where every single outfit we wore was SHEIN! We can confirm a few celebrities gave us a thumbs up throughout various events we attended.
We love SHEIN’s quick straight-to-home delivery, the fashion-forward styles, the brilliant colour palettes, and agreeable price points. Being someone of unconventional measurements, I have found a literal godsend in the online retailer, offering diversity in sizing. It is liberating and revolutionary. I love that they have an extensive selection of pet clothing (I’m always looking for new looks for beanie!), plus houseware, gadgets and lifestyle products as well. I’ve bought my mom a few pieces here as well, and being a seamstress by trade, she can vouch for the quality of manufacturing.

beanie and I were delighted to visit their Hauliday Market Popup, which took place a few weeks back in New York City’s Meatpacking District. The event brought out our festive spirit early with its cute activations, sweets, cocktails, and mocktails. In addition to getting a glimpse of SHEIN’S winter collections for Women, Men, Kids, and Teens. The highlights were their collaboration with reality TV queen JWoww, who not only graced us with her presence, but brought along her fanily and fellow Jersey Shore alumni, including Mike “The Situation Sorrentino, and Angelina Pivernick! Also showing support were Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Whitney Rose, and Gia Giuduce (Real Housewives of New Jersey, daughter of Teresa). That was a lot of surprise starpower! Here we were, thinking we were simply going to look at clothing!
We were “wowed” by the JWoww collection’s sophisticated, yet accessible aesthetic. And we were floored by the SHEIN BAE collection, which is highlighted by daring silhouettes for the bold, confident woman. We saw lots of shimmer and sparkle, and we wouldn’t have it any way but!

#FIRSTLOOK: “UNCOUPLED”
Michael Lawson (Neil Patrick Harris) is a successful NYC Realtor. He has it all – career, money, a long-term partner Colin (Tuc Watkins). His world is shattered when his partner decides to leave him without reason and he’s left to pick-up the pieces and he begins to learn about himself as a 40+ year-old single gay man who hasn’t dated in years. He navigates the dating scene, the new lingo and finding love once again, as he consolidates this with his feelings of hurt and rejection.
Brought to us by the great Creator Darren Star, UNCOUPLED gives a voice to those who have been forced to start again later in life. In many ways, echoing the Dramedy of Star’s hits Sex and the City and Emily in Paris – maybe without as much emphasis on Fashion and more so on sex – the Series explores what life is like for a gay man re-discovering himself through adventure and his friends, old and new.
Supporting Harris’ Michael are a trio of best friends: fellow Suzanne (Tisha Campbell), Stanley (Brooks Ashmanskas) and Billy (Emerson Brooks) and they all are deeply-involved with each other’s lives as their trials and tribulations become intertwined. Michael is unafraid of getting messy, becoming involved with an array of new love interests, but also having to for the first time face the truth about himself. Yes, he can be a bit overbearing. We’re here for messes.
Some fantastic performances on display here and this is the daring late-night storytelling we love and are drawn to. We admit it takes a bit of patience for things to get going here, but if you’re willing to give it your time, the story progresses, so does our attachment to Michael.
All eight episodes (30 minute seach) of UNCOUPLED arrive July 29, 2022 on Netflix.

Michael Lawson (Neil Patrick Harris) seems to have it all figured out. But when Colin unexpectedly moves out on the eve of his 50th birthday, Michael is completely blindsided. Overnight, he has to confront two nightmares: losing the man he thought was his soulmate, and suddenly finding himself a single gay man in his mid-forties in New York City.
